T510 + XP

Hi all

Just fixed a blue screen problem by formatting the hard disk (Yes, I have saved the entire disk, including all partitions beforehand).

My question is this, in Device Manager, I have under unknown devices (?), 4 elements named "Bus High Definition Audio Device on high definition Audio. I tried the update system without result, and I have already installed UAA and Audio drivers, who work, simply do not get rid of these elements

Any help is appreciated!

Shaun

OK Guy, managed to fix it. For anyone installing XP on their T510, install .net framework 3, MSUAA (KB888111), Service Pack 3, Conexant HD Audio, Modem, display drivers nVidia Display Drivers/Intel that your laptop has.

If you install the video drivers before MSUAA (KB888111) and Audio drivers, it won't install drivers Audio DisplayPort etc.

So we have an image t510, we have configured, based on the image of T6X42019 ThinPro 4 most recent of HP. I used HPDM 4.5 to capture the final image, and it works very well to expel this image to any t510 race ThinPro 4 already. However, if I try to send the same hardware, running HP Smart zero Core, it fails with the error below. I want to be able to send this image to all t510 connected to the HPDM or running the other operating system. Someone knows what's the problem?

Error message (task not supported), sounds like agent on Smart zero is not up-to-date. If you don't the have not already done so, wil you update the agent on the t510 Smart zero prior to sending the image update task.

  • HP t510 and t5565z black screen

    Hello

I have several HP t510 and t5565z thin using HP Smart Client OS we use for VMware View customers. Thin clients for very well most of the time. However occasionally they will get black screens and no longer respond. I would say that this probably occurs during long periods of inactivity may be several hours or more. Has anyone already experienced this? It can occur during a session connected or simply sitting lit all night.

These thin clients also seem to have a kind of construction in both screen saver. Because they will go in this black screen after 15 minutes of inactivity. They return generally, but I can't find anywhere in the settings options or BIOS to kill this screensaver.

To anyone reading this, I found a solution. I found myself by opening a ticket with HP about the sleep function screen integrated with Smart Zero Client generation. I was information this feature was not available without the component of profile manager of the HP Server deployment, you can use this thin client.

I finished the switch back on the ThinPro build because you can control the screen saver and display the power options in the generation of HP. I had a feature request to HP to allow the screen saver and power display options to be greeted with the Smart customer zero built in the future because they added an Admin mode in the last generation, they pulled out for us who do not have enough of them to justify the use of the server component.

This is the old method that is still used with some inkjet home printers.  Printers Designjet need much ink, so the current design of the print head filled by Assembly of the tube and large ink tanks is common for all designjet printers.  You don't like the design, but it is more economical because the printing heads last longer than ink.  You will have to pay more for ink cartridges that contain the printhead.  Your argument is outdated.

  • Can not handle t510 with ThinPro HPDM v4.6 sp2 v5.0

We have recently updated our HPDM in v4.6 with SP2 and it seems to work perfectly.

We have one of our customers light t510 upgrade then ThinPro v5, which went well, but now we cannot see or manage HPDM device!

I hope that this is just an oversight on our part, but anyone can shed some light on what to do to manage the customer updated please?

I managed to navigate to the file/usr/sbin/but when I run the command hpdmagent I get a "error while loading shared libraries: libdmerrhandle.so: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory".

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the Linux command prompt, etc so do not know how to get the log for you.

I'll try to reinstall ThinPro 5 on the device to see if that helps.

Please try these steps again this could help you this time:

    1. download the file of the operating system

    2. right click on the file and select "Run as Administrator" [this step is not in the manual]

    3. now, select "Format USB" under deployment options

    4. Select the USB in the list, with the top and down arrows to display the drive letter correct.

  • HP T510 - remove DESKTOP connections the connection with the HP Device Manager Manager remotely

I can manage, deploy, and send registry updated successfully to all HP T510 customers on my network via HPDM.

When deploying a RDP connection is successful, but it added the new connection in the connection list.

I was assuming that other connections would be withdrawn when the deployment of a record of a customer with the correct setting - but the new connection is just added to the existing list of RDP connections and I need to delete the other.

Please could someone advise me how to remove DESKTOP connections remote connection using HPDM Manager screen.

I found it! the option delete isn't available when deploying new connections - it's a checkbox at the bottom of the wizard

  • HPDM 4.4.1 T5530, T5540 and T510

    Hello!

There are some known issues with HPDM 4.4.1 and material subject? Do the wes7 image the same way as I do with winCE image? I could run a winCE on T510 image? Are there issues about with mixing these customers with this version of HPDM?

    Kind regards

It's a licensing issue, if you bought the t510 with WES 7, you can't put this on it and vice versa.

The latest version of WES 7 and the t510 are only supported with HP DM 4.5 MS-2, but it does not support this so you would need 2 HP DM Server to use two different images.

  • T510 Citrix FontSmoothingType configuration changes not saved

    Hi all

We recently bought a T510 because our existing customers (T5565) are now EOL, and we try to configure the T510 with similar parameters.  One of the parameters that the FontSmoothingType change us is in the file All_Regions.ini located in writing/home/user /. ICAClient.  However, the changes we make are not persistent after a reboot.

    That's what we do:

    fsunlock

    CD/writing/home/user /. ICAClient /.

    VI All_Regions.ini

    (Change FontSmoothingType = * to FontSmoothingType = 3)

    : wq

    fslock

After the reboot, the file All_Regions.ini has been restored and the timestamp of the file is more recent, which suggests that the file is overwritten when starting.

I can't find any other copy of All_Regions.ini which could be a version of "master".

    Hoping someone can help.

    OS: ThinPro 4 (T6X42019)

    Martin

You must change the All_Regions.ini in/usr/lib/ICAClient/config. This change should be persistent.

  • T510 540 m

    For $150.

This can be legitimate even a laptop? Going to use for general use. Navigation, a lot of typing, listen to CD after their RIP to HD.

Will download the 8 GB RAM and swap the HD for one SSD.

It has Windows 7 and is a 1st gen i5.

I could wait a few weeks and try to get a t430 used for several hundred dollars.

    Suggestions?

The T510 is always a beautiful machine. So the T430. Either will do basic tasks as you mention. From my point of view, the advantages of the T430 are USB3, best options of networking, the possibility of adding more memory and the ability to use mSATA.

  • [T510] Unexpected shutdown

Hi all, new to this forum.

I just bought a 4313CTO T510 and it was delivered today.

One problem, she randomly, quit unexpectedly.

Don't install anything on this subject yet.

When I start up after it stops, windows does not recognize a power failure. And starts normally.

When I'm in the Windows operating system and presses ThinkVantage, it starts the scan and stop just once again, or rather just power.

I am really frustrated right now.

Ask yourself what the problem is that I can't yet begin possibly run ThinkVantage.

Also is there a solution to this?

    Thank you.

I finally find my motherboard replaced... If the problem is resolved, but when I came back, I had to reinstall the whole system again.

But my best suggestion is that you ask them to get a new computer.

  • WD5000LPVX WD Blue for T510?

The WD5000LPVX being SATA 6 Gbps, can I assume it will always work with T510 but only slow down to the limits of T510 to 3 GB/s? Does anyone have any questions or concern for her. Your help is appreciated.

Good day and welcome to the community.

The SATA standard is backward compatible. While I have no experience with this specific drive, it should be a problem in your T510.

  • Port hot display on my lenovo T510 cable!

Hi knew exactly where to put this, but... I was watching a movie on my projector to my laptop Lenovo T510, using a Display Port to HDMI cable. There is a thunderstorm and a integrated during the movie, but my phone has not been connected at the time. So when I hit the Display port of the ends of the cable, which is connected to my laptop, it was too hot to the touch and had was slightly curved and put bore! Now it is cooled and just looks and feels normal. Very strange and I don't see how it could have been linked to the storm and integrated, but it seems a little too coincidental! I used this cable many times before and never noticed this, but there still may be that I have never touched it had cooled. But I have, it's about metling it was so hot, so I think that Id not noticed. Anyone got any ideas, as Im a bit worried for my laptop and hope that it has not been damaged, even if it seems to work very well thanks in advance Alex

I think it's probably one of those chance events. If it gets even warmer during normal use, I'd be suspicious, however.

The T510 does support memory PC3L?

I want to upgrade fomr 4 GB to 8 GB and find that PC3L is less expensive than the PC3 slightsly.

Most of the PC3L (1.35v) modules will support PC3 (1.5V) operation. I do not know of modules that don't work not to 1, 5V, but specifications for modules that you consider should tell you what you need to know.
