  Camera cable aboard MXP is similar, but it does not work with 6000 MXP codecs. I assume that your cable is marked with C3000 (works only with Edsge and 3000 MXP codecs). You need the cable marked with C6000. I don't know the SKU of CISCO for this cable. It may help you reference TANDBERG:

• Tandberg 6000 MXP video call Source missing

  Hello, I have have a 6000 MXP running F9.3.1 and has been for awhile now.  It was recently discovered that the video source of the call is not the camera that we want displayed.  When I checked the list of options, only some of the available entries were actually there.  Video 1, PC, VNC and current are there, but not video 2.

  I want 2 video as source video of my call, and I am quite sure, it has been defined in this way in the past, or have heard about earlier.  I have down graded to F9.3, but has not made a difference.  I confirmed that this source of start-up and snap shot source all have the right options.

  After checking several other systems MXP running F9.3.1, I see that they are also not the same thing.  Is there anything I can do to call video Source using Video 2?

  Have you tried what happens if you set the main power source and the source of startup to video2/aux and restart, and make a call.

  Maybe someone else has another idea, if no, and you have a service contract, you might think of filing a

  case of TAC. In any case keep us updated if you find a solution outside this thread.

• 6000 MXP Cisco only streaming audio

  We have a CODEC MXP6000 in which we try to broadcast the call using stream.sdp technology. We have set up a multicast address and are able to access the page continuously but become audio only. We tried the following:

  Address of the stream of 255.255.255.255

  Update QuickTime on laptop customer

  Tried using VLC

  Tried different ports of streaming

  Toggled the video quality settings

  Firewall disabled on the computer

  There is a proxy which browsers are all pointing to. Is there anything else I could try to get the video streams as well as audio?

  I got it working by using a 1000 MXP.

  I have the streaming settings:

  Address: 224.0.0.0

  Address Port: 22232

  Video Rate (kbps) 320

  Video quality: Motion

  Then I start to broadcast breaking in my Firefox browser on my mac http://ip.address.of.mxp/stream.sdp

  and I get video and audio in my browser (use the quicktime plugin)...

  I couldn't open QuickTime directly on my Mac for a reason any.

• Replacement of 6000 MXP Integrator with unique display. C40 SX20 vs?

  I have to make a quick decision and my CISCO sales representative is MIA :(

  We have a bunch of 6000 s MXP (package ingegrator), I would like to replace. They are simple installations with a single monitor on a roll integer grid.

  with output to the screen and a camera is there any point to spend the extra money for a C40 vs getting a SX20? From a point of view video capability they look pretty well. C40 more things gets me in the back, but it is a pretty simple setup.

  Although C40 and SX20 are two different solutions for videoconferencing from Cisco, an integrator (c40) and other is fast setting solution (SX20).

• Tandberg Edge 95 MXP Password reset via the remote control

  Hello

  I try to reset the IP password via the remote control and still get the complaint that the password must be at least 8 characters and the number. I tried all combinaiton of 8 characters and 1 number, 8 characters and 2 numbers, 6 tanks and 2 numbers, 4 characters and 4 numbers, number 8 characters and 1 number 1 and so on. Is there something special about looking for the system?

  PS. When I telnet into the system, it shows TANDBERG Codec Release F7.2 PAL / SW Release Date: 2008-10-31, so I guess it is 7.2.

  Do you know if strict password is enabled or not?

  By default, that is, unless you have turned it off at some point, which will ask for a password at least 15 characters that contains 2 lowercase letters, 2 caps, 2 numbers and 2 special characters.  You can check by connecting to the endpoint using SSH or Telnet and runs the API command below:

  xConfiguration StrictPassword

  Here are the steps to reset the password to access IP on a TANDBERG MXP endpoint, I suggest that you try to use the API to change the password by logging on to the endpoint by Telnet or SSH instead of the remote control. The most recent software MXP is F9.3.4, suggest you also improve your point of termination to the latest version to mitigate the security issues with the older software. You can contact TAC and advisory security cisco-sa-20140605-openssl to get a key to unlock so you can upgrade your MXP to software F9 of reference, from there, you can upgrade to F9.3.4.

• Strange behavior MXP-6000... calling themselves?

  So in the last week, I had several of my 6000 MXP to begin receiving calls entrants at least think TMS have just themselves...

  What I see in the TMS call log is a call duration of 00:00:00 originating IP of the endpoint via H.323 and listed as phone bandwidth...

  Anyone want to guess?

  There is no configuration for EDGE xx.

  This option is only available with 6000 MXP codec 3rd input microphone.

• Duel video BFCP cts 3210 to the MXP device

  VCS 7.0.3

  6000 MXP F9.1.2

  Problems with the video duel of CTS 3210 to any machine MXP. The TP does send that video or content not both. MXP send video footage or content, not both.

  Have tested with C-series and Movi to and from the MXP so the TP room without problems.

  I guess it's a question of BFCP. What I don't know is what (VCS, CUCM, ends) device or / and a known issue with MXP.

  The addition of GST in the equation manages video duel without problem and is the workaround.

  Hi Chris,

  It is unfortunately a limit between the two products. The problem is that the CTS unit only supports h264 video for content and the MXP supports only the h263/h261 so the second channel will never negotiate correctly. The TPS avoids this transcoding between the two formats.

  Have you tried to use the presentation setting switched on the CTS, it could improve the user experience.

• Why the MCU is automatically added to the conferences in TMS?

  Info:

  Endpoints: Tandberg 6000 MXP & 95 MXP

  TMS: 13.2.2

  Codian MCU 4510: Software version 4.4

  Tandberg GK: N6.3

  Tandberg BC: Q6.3

  When I create a conference at TMS and want an end point to compose our system to an MCU on another site (confined), the our local MCU is automatically added to the Conference, for some reason any.  For example, if I create a conference with room 123 and number 'Dial Out' external 2222222, TMS adds MCU of our system and forces to compose both room 123 and 2222222, which is totally useless.  This should be simply, what is the endpoint is, a direct line to 2222222.  Why the MCU is being added?  This will use licenses MCU in haste when it is not necessary at all.

  I went through TMS > administration tools > Configuration > General settings, network settings and conference settings and cannot understand why the MCU is added.  If we dial manually, no problem.  My goal is to automate the entire composition, however.

  Pointers?  I put some of the parameters of the TMS > Admin Tools > Configuration > Conference settings below.

  Reduce the bandwidth of conference help? TMS could add a MCU if it detects that one or more participants do not support the bandwidth conference.

• First license 10.5 Cluster Manager?

  I install a new BE6K with version 10.5. I see the old ELM has been replaced by the License Manager first and, like its precessor, it is automatically installed with Callmanager and unity connection. I would like to install a standalone License Manager (version 9, x is possible) and here are my questions:

  1. is it possible to install a v10.5 first stand-alone License Manager on a BE6K?

  2. If so, is that I have a 'second first node License Manager' on a second unit of BE6K? The idea is to avoid having a single point of failure on this server

  The BE6K is no different from the ordinary CUCM.  So, Yes, you can install PLM in independent mode.  But no, you can't have two.

  With Cisco Business Edition 6000, first LM would be usually living with one of the
  application servers. However, if you wish, it is possible to run first LM as a virtual standalone
  machine, but it should be counted against the maximum number of applications allowed on
  a Server Business Edition Cisco 6000.

  First LM is deployed as a non redundant application. Where the application of the first LM
  is no longer available (for example, if the first LM VM knows the operating system)
  questions and may not start), the customer has 60 days to restore the first LM application before
  application of the license occurs

• Connection ISDN + CIS DTD 530 questions Adtran ISU 512 + KIV - 7 M

  Before I explain my problem I want everyone to know that the Adtran ISDN lines will work. 530 cables that go from the CIS to the Adtran are correct. 530 cables that go from the CIS to the KIV - 7 M are correct. I know this is because I use a system that has a work in 6000MXP. Everything I do is disconnected the NET cable of the 6000 MXP and then connect the ISDN link to test.

  Now, I can explain my problem. I have configured the link ISDN and C40 and currently they are coupled together.   Some generic troubleshooting would be convenient, check the log files, see the PBX to remote,...

  Have you tried to dial a simple number just to see if you get a connection?

  What is the dial string, you must use the URI encoding for the dial string.

  # becomes %23

  Your example should therefore:

  192.168.1.11;x-h320number=9918432188813%234%232

  And if you have the latest version and its correctly configured I would say that the numbering cli command should look like

  xCommand Dial Protocol: H320 number: 9918432188813 234% 232

  Mxp units can be saved on cucm as endpoints (base) of third parties.

  Please find the steps to enter mxp.

  The sip on mxp as uri and sip proxy address settings.

  1. sip mode: on

  2 SIP Uri: [email protected] / * / of cucm for example: [email protected]/ * /.

  3 server discovery: manual

  4. server address: ip address of cucm.

  5 server Type: cisco

  6. transport: whether auto snack but who do not work, change to udp.

  7 TLs: off

  8: authentication sip username: user you created on cucm eg 9011 or amlesh

  9 password: use the same password configured when creating user 9011 or amlesh

  CUCM config:

  1. Select the basic profile of third party.

  2. Add the mac address of endpoint mxp.

  3. Select the appropriate sip, phone etc models profile.

  4. under user digest and owner user id select the same user, for example: 9011 or amlesh

  5. save the configuration and assign DN even that we used in the uri on mxp sip settings.

  6. also associate device mxp the user using the association on cucm devices pane.

  Please let me know if that work for you. I tried this in my lab and works.
