Update failed "Samsung Mobile MTP Device"

Once more, Samsung screwed up my updates.

The first time I have connected my Galaxy S3 on my PC, a notice to update poped to the top of MS Updates.

It turns out that it was a Samsung one and surprise, surprise, it could not install!

Is this also happened when I installed Samsung Kies software, at that time several updates have been triggerede and install attempt failed.

The blackout resulted in these notes: -.

SAMSUNG Electronics Co., Ltd. - other hardware - SAMSUNG Mobile MTP Device

Download size: 4. 3 MB

You may have to restart your computer for this update is taken into account.

Update type: recommended

None of the links above is no help for me, can anyone advise if this update is important, or if I should just ignore it?

I had the same problem. Tried to install it several times and it has always failed. Then one day it suddenly installed successfully. I think that settles the only difference between failure and success was that I had my phone connected to my PC during the successful installation. Try to connect your phone to the PC and run the update.

    Hi all

I do iTunes/iPad/AMDS rerun (Win7 Ultimate 64 bit). After the last update of iTunes to 11.1, I'm not able to install the Apple Mobile Device Support any longer. Usbaapl64 installation fails. Even a manual update is not possible (access denied).

After you have uninstalled the ADM the iPad is recognized as Apple iPad to portable devices (in dev mgmt). Updating the driver (and selecting the usbaapl64 in CommonFiles/Apple/Apple Mobile Support folder) still fails - access denied.

  • MTP device when connecting Samsung MP3 error

My computer won't let me use my Samsung MP3 yp-p2jcb/xaa model. I use Windows Vista.

I went to the website of Samsung and chatted with them. Him gave me this troubleshooting link: my computer is not recognizing my player when I connect it I tried everything and nothing has worked. Finally, he suggested that I have to contact Microsoft. The device is plug-n-play, so they did not all drivers. I took the camera and plugged on my friends computer, running Windows 7, and the MP3 works perfectly. My computer has had no other problem with USB connections.

When I check the Device Manager, it shows the MP3 as P2 under other with an exclamation point. The error I get is "the drivers for this device are not installed. After that, I saw Code 1 and Code 28.

Then, I tried to reinstall the driver to choose "Browse my computer for driver software" and then me C:\\Windows\system32\driverstore on my computer. It has been proposed by Samsung. I get the following message.

    iannugent,

In case you still have questions, because I had the same problem myself, the pilot would have to stop when the registry was refreshing.  However, he could not find a driver dependent and would not completely load the driver, that "off" your internet connection.

    The solution is to

    -Open your device manager,

-Find the SAMSUNG NDIS device under network adapters

-Right-click on the troubled device and select Update driver software

-Select Browse my computer for software driver

-Select Let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer

-Select Remote NDIS based Internet sharing devices and click Next

.. .that should be your dependent on engine and you should have no problem thereafter I've not had any since.  In addition, there was no reboot needed.  Windows figured it all as soon as I installed this driver dependent

    I hope this helps.

    Hello

Usually this problem is caused due to any third-party program or external devices.

To help you further on this issue, I would like to know some information about the same thing.

    1. have you connected external devices other than the keyboard and mouse?

    2. did you run the upgrade wizard before you try to upgrade to Windows 8.1?

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it works for you.

    Method 1:

If you have connected external devices other than the keyboard and mouse, then try to disconnect and check.

    Method 2:

If you have not run the upgrade wizard level, then ru the upgrade wizard and then try to upgrade to Windows 8.1.

    Upgrade Wizard: FAQ:

    Method 3:

Put the computer in a clean boot state, and then try to upgrade to Windows 8.1 and check if the problem persists. Clean boot will help you determine which third-party program or app is causing this problem.
