Your 2.4 GHz wireless keyboard mouse combo is not delivered with a usb cable.

It uses a usb dongle which connects the keyboard and mouse to the PC destop wireless.

You can't buy a replacement dongle.

A wireless dongle is coded permanently to the pairs of keyboards and mouse at the plant combos.

Your technical support must have told you that.

If your keyboard was bluetooth it would have been a different story and a generic Bluetooth dongle replacement could have been bought.

    Try this:

With the USB speaker connected, right click on the speaker icon on the tray (right), left click on 'sounds '. On the tab 'Read' the USB speaker should be listed, click to select it, and then click the button "set as default". Click the OK button to exit.

If I want to add a USB 3.0 card, where should I use and what type of power connector would be used with this PC - Molex or SATA?

    Thank you very much.

I have not found a decent picture of food on the HP site, but I found this site that has the power of HP original adduction (part 5188-2859) for this device.

Food seems to molex and SATA power connectors, so it really depends on what is available in the system.  SATA is more recent, but either we could work as a long time that what you add support.  Just in case you don't know, white connectors are molex and the black connectors are connectors to SATA power.

The motherboard should look like this once it is open.

The three short PCI express x 1 slots is the crack you up when you add an extension like a USB card.

It seems that the firewire port is 1394 a.

  • Question of Toshiba AT10-r: charging: mini-usb connector port is broken

My tablet to-10A is plu 1 year bit (expired warranty then). It will no longer charge. I have already answered a few messages in the forum that indicated similar problems. Let me continue on another where I can give you a few other updates.

There is no need to do the "factory reset" procedure because it is a hardware issue. (I have done, but as no change provided).

I opened my Tablet and tested with a multimeter. It seems that the mini-usb port is broken (see the attachment, the 5v PIN is not in good shape), basically I don't have 5 volts there. Precisely the mini-usb port is part of a small circuit hannstar e89382 arc10L_usb_sub. That's what it should be changed. I tried to get him, but I can't find one.

    Toshiba allow this component?

Any other idea of the people in the forum? I saw a new mini-usb port of welding, but it won't be easy, at least not for me.

    Best regards
    Luca

    Luca,

The EU standard warranty is 2 years, but in your case I don't know how the USB port is broken. Toshiba will have to fix if it proves to be a part of the defective material. Give it a try.

  • Satellite L655 - USB connectors don't work after hibernate or restart

    Hello world

Using Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 on my Satellite L655. After prolonged or even standby restart if the devices (such as an external mouse or speakers etc.) are always connected, the USB slots does not seem to work, stay inactive.

Even when plugging on and dragging new custom USB devices work. Only if I start the laptop when the devices are not blocked and after the laptop are running that I plug them in they work. And it applies to all 2 USB slots

    Help, please
    Thank you
    LON

    Hey Buddy,

I m not very well, but this problem could be linked to the USB/Chipset driver. So I recommend you a chipset driver update that you can download from the official page of Toshiba:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

In my opinion, it has something to do with the OS or drivers. I mean the USB ports work physically because you wrote that everything works if you plugin the devices after Windows starts.

  • Connector USB virtualization driver

Virtualization USB connector driver I started this am and got this message that the pc had installed a (USB connector driver virtualization) what is it and why did it install?

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

I would like to enlighten you with the fact that there are a few old existing devices and if you want to run in compatibility mode in Windows 7 environment outside the execution of each individual query, what we can do is to install Windows XP mode. Some USB devices in a Virtual Machine (VM) are:

    • Printers
    • Flash memory sticks
    • External hard drives
    • Webcams and digital cameras
    • Smart cards

WVPC uses the Redirection Policy Manager (RPM) of the windows to provide USB redirection in a Virtual Machine. It loads another driver instead of the original driver to redirect the device to a virtual machine. WVPC creates a host controller virtualized in the Virtual Machine that is available using a channel of Bus of VPC.

Following diagram shows the difference between the normal USB architecture and architecture of Virtual USB:

Note: You might have had your automatic updates "turned on" on the Windows XP mode environment and this is the reason why the resulting virtual driver automatically installed.

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in case you have other problems with Windows, we will be happy to help you.

  • Can you iPhone 7 connect to USB headset

    Hello!

I am the owner reasonably high-end headphones Sennheiser Momentum M2 wireless. It connects to my iPhone via bluetooth or using removable 3.5 mm plug + cable. When I use it with my MacBook, I connect USB cable to the USB port on my MacBook Pro to listen to the audio quality (M2 these headphones have a micro-USB connector).

It made me wonder if I could connect my M2 headset with my iPhone 7 using a micro-USB male for cable male-lightning and listen to music when, for example, the battery is dead, or when I want the best quality audio.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer my question.
