Vista Blue Screen of Death

I was doing a BSOD nearly every 15 minutes on my Acer laptop running Vista. I used Safe Mode to implement a Microsoft Account so that I can download the most recent Dump and msinfo.txt files to here.

This phenomenon was related to generic snp2uvc.sys Driver PC Camera.

    I read that some people have said once they have downloaded Service Pack 2, the problem has been resolved, but whenever I try to install this update, Windows tells me she didn't and I can not fix. It happens randomly. I get the blue screen long enough to read it says something on a USB stick something or other and then it the computer shuts down and restarts and told to choose a safe mode or restart windows normally. I just reboot normally because I don't know what to do in safe mode. He began to do last night. Only once last night and once a bit ago.     If you're overclocking (pushing components beyond their design) return you to default at least until the crash is resolved. If you don't know what it is that you're probably not overclocking.

  • Windows Vista Blue Screen of Death - what is a virus or malware?

    My computer automatically restarts on its own. It gives me a message "Windows closed unexpectedly". When I try to look for a solution on the internet on the computer it redirects me to a link. Every solution I see there as a hardware problem, but the way it is it seems to be a virus or malware. I ran Malwarebytes on it with no luck and rank just the sight of the blue screen NirSoft.

    My level of knowledge allows me to do some research, but it is not enough where I feel comfortable playing with files of material.

    Well firstly, I accidentally stumbled on the case of the computer once and that's how it all started... I get the screen that says 'IRQL NOT LESS or EQUAL' screen and error 0 x 00000050 PAGE_FAULT_NONPAGED_AREA Stop. But I get the IRQL NOW LESS EQUAL of GOLD more often than not... It appears so often... I completely restored my computer once already and still there. I would contact with my computer (HP) manufaturur, but I do not know what updates my need drivers. In addition, I'm not good at using the Event Viewer either.

I can not load even with on Vista Blue Screen of Death. Safe mode does not work, with him crashing when obtaining at crcdisk.sys. Startup Repair cannot find a mistakes. System Restore does nothing useful. CHKDSK does not seem to find any errors. The last thing I want to do is to reinstall my operating system. Before my computer became like this, I had no virus on my computer and was not installed and drivers. However, I switch autour with boot options to allow two processors start the computer, but I no he did not do a reboot. I suspect that something in the boot parameters is in trouble. My computer was working fine the day before, and this incident is terribly annoying. I would be very happy if someone could give me a helping hand.

    Location: Try to update Windows Vista SP1 my computer hung up.  After a cold reboot, I got a BSoD (blue screen of death) with the error 0x0000C1F5 code.

    Current problem: whenever I try to boot Vista I get the same error during the vista loading screen.

    I tried the safe mode, the last correct log on the thing, and even a system restore disc that I downloaded from PC World.

    None of these online solutions have worked.

    Is there a way to bypass the default loading process and access the recovery partition drive to do a factory reset?

  • Blue Screen Of Death with Windows Vista

    I am running Windows Vista and after trying to update a NVIDIA Geforce driver, my computer will not start at the top and comes up with the "blue screen of death/Disconnections. Initially it started, but icons were very large and I could finally get the right size. Thought that there was a problem with the driver compatibililty and deleted driver (I think), not knowing that I would not be able to find the original driver. Restarted and it is when I got the dreaded "BSOD" and knew with my computer knowledge, I was in trouble. Tried to reboot and then restart with the Windows disk, with the same results. Past to start in safe mode, normal mode, etc... and does not boot in any mode, when eneter is pushed (of your choice) Unit acts as if it starts successfully, with the small bar down Center of screen scrolling as it should, but then the BOSD rises. Support, not much luck, worked with NVIDIA replaced card video, restarted, same result. Need help please.

    You use Roxio or Nero programs? They have been known to cause this problem even

    This "might" be a power problem, even if this isn't the most common cause - in this case
    It seems that the PSU could be the fault.

    9F is probably a driver issue. Security/antivirus/antispware programs can also cause these issues.
    Have you added the recent devices or the updated drivers - don't forget to check in the Windows updates to see
    If a driver has been updated before this happen. This can also be caused by a loose card or cable

    This error means that a driver does not properly support the power state. Check in Control Panel - device

    I had originally Windows Vista on my pc (HP m8300f) and it worked fine for 3 years until last month, I started to have these BSOD.

    So I thought a new clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate would solve the problem. Well, I was very happy to get the new operating system installed, but a few hours later that darn BSOD appeared and im now distraught.

    What is my RAM? My drivers? My hard drives?

    Computer IM but I'm certainly some type of technology. I have basic computer knowledge and that's all.

    This issue is very very irritating and has ruined a lot of my work.

    Well up to now (18 hours) my computer has not had the BSOD and what I did is that I removed 1 GB of ram for my motherboard. Their were two sticks of 512 MB. I took them both. Now, I have 2 GB of ram running in my system and had not had a BSOD or an error after you have done this.

    What is the problem with my ram? I now have 2 sticks of RAM on my motherboard and both are 1 GB each stick. What is the mix n match that causes a problem all of a sudden? My computer came with this stock of installation. I also noticed the ram I got were the brand Samsung and the other on my motherboard are another brand.

    Well idk I hope it was my problem. We'll see.

    I select run a startup repair, and it goes straight to the blue screen. When I start normally it justs sits there with the bar go green around and around. System Restore also dosen't help.     I have two devices USB-6009, used with NOR-DAQmx and Labview to make some analogue simple analogue input and output.  The USB box - two 6009 were previously works very well on this PC.  Recently, I got a blue screen of death, associated with a different USB device to (non - OR) connected to the PC.  I not save the information of the blue screen of death.  When I restarted the computer, the USB-6009 devices were no longer recognized by Labview / MAX.  The Green LED on the USB - 6009 s do not come.  The USB - 6009 s appear in the Device Manager of Windows with a yellow exclamation point ("Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device").  If I connect the USB-6009 case to another PC, MAX recognizes them on this PC, and I get the usual flashing green LED.  If I connect another USB-6009 (never connected to this PC), I get a green LED solid, and, says Windows cannot load the driver.

    I am running Vista, Labview 8.5 and NOR-DAQmx 8.9.  I rebooted 5 - 6 times, I tried disabling and the reactivation of the USB-6009 by windows Device Manager, I tried the options "update driver" in Device Manager.  Any advice on how else to solve it?  Thank you!

    The driver update and turn do nothing to the main driver - DAQmx. Reinstall or repair that.

  • Windows 7 clean installation Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) on a loop of reboot

    Aloha everyone,
    I did an install customized windows 7 on a new Western Digital 1 TB sata hard drive, which has been formatted, partitioned, scandisk, and a ntfs c drive was created prior to installation.
    The installation ended safely.  I then install my screen reader, Window-Eyes, requiring a reboot.  After the reboot, I started to install critical updates to Windows.  On my fourth update and restarting, I got the blue screen of death, that of some people call a BSoD.  I rebooted and Windows itself restored to a previous state of good, of my just accept the default choice.  Then the rear computer works, but if I stop, restart I get the blue screen of death (BSod) is back, and the loop begins again, i.e. windows restores good condition that works well, until you stop, but on reboot - BSoD is BACK!
    I removed the automatic update option, I disabled ScanDisk, drivers updated, bluetooth devices, deactivated sideshow, etc., without any positive result.  I called Microsoft for assisstance and the technician acted like this isn't a known issue, but he assured me that he could solve the problem.  He took control of my computer remotely and do not tell me anything except that the computer would check and repair any problem on reboot, and if he did does not resolve the problem, I have to remember.  The computer has rebooted without the BSod, but I stopped to check if the loop went, and it is not!  To restart the BSOd was back.  It is to note that if I put the computer to sleep, I get a clean start, but stop, restart or hibernation, I get the blue screen of death (BSoD)!
    It is a Dell Dimension XPS 420 with a intel Q6600 processer, 3 GB of ddr2 memory, which came with OS Vista Home premium 32-bit.  The Vista system, the last time I got a BSoD has been for more than a year.

    After researching this problem on Google, it appears that there is a problem without a solution.

    P.S. I'll never upgrade a Windows operating system.  My recommendation for anyone who is planning to upgrade to Windows 7 is to try first on a dual boot using the free download.  If it works for you, consider yourself lucky and buy the upgrade.  If it does not, then remove Windows 7 and stay with your old system.
