Satellite A110 restarts automatically after each stop

Hello!

I have the following problem:
When to stop the system, my laptop while first goes off completely, as you wish, but 2 seconds later, he again. His behavior differs from a usual restart - then will not turn off, it restarts directly. In addition I can rule out software problems, since I've tested with different operating systems and the behavior is the same everywhere. This problem did not exist before, but suddenly occurred and now is it each time.
Ah, it is also important if the power adapter is NOT connected (i.e. portable runs only on battery), the problem does not occur. If the laptop works on current alternative, the problem occurs, regardless of whether or not the battery is in Notepad.

Can anyone help? Each index is very appreciated!

My laptop is a
Satellite A110-228
Part number: PSAB0E-00J007GR

Thank you very much!

Hi zaez,

I doubt that the problem is caused by the OS because it doesn t affect the system when it turn off so there must be another reason of this problem...

Have you attached external devices?
They could cause such an automatic start

I also is advised to disable Wake up on LAN functionality in the BIOS and load the default settings.

  • Satellite A110-180 - fan starts but stops after a few seconds

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite A110-180 and when I turn on the computer, the fan turns on but it stops in a few seconds and starts again in a while and stops again and starts... Then the laptop gets heat quickly.

I bought the laptop about 5 years ago, so I think the problem is the fan or the circuit that controls the fan. Can someone who has had the same problem make sure that the fan is the problem?

The fan part number is ATZHG000500. Does anyone know if a fan with P/N ATZHG000100 is compatible with my laptop, or if I can use another fan?

    Thanks for your help,

    Hey Wiley,

First of all it of normal that the fan starts and after a few seconds, or 1 minute stops. Depending on the programs you run again the departure of fan after a few seconds or minutes. So, theoretically, it of normal what is happening.

But if your laptop is almost 5 years old, you should try to clean. So I can recommend jet of compressed air. This could blow out the dust from the cooling fans. It is very cheap but very useful.
    Check it!

In addition, I think that the thermal paste should be renewed a technicians authorized laptop can help you and answer if the other fan part number fits in your laptop. :)

    Hi Mustafa

The blue screen of death appears usually due to hardware failure or serious malfunction of software.
These two issues are possible on your device.

    Hello David

I believe that no one here can say with certainty what was happen exactly after the update of the BIOS. The fact is that the BIOS password can be removed by service provider only. Contact the nearest service provider and explain the situation.

    Hey all,.

The model Satellite A200 - 1 GB (PSAE6E) worked perfectly for two years now (with Vista 32-bit).
Since running windows update yesterday and restart, the laptop summer stuck in a reboot loop, restart immediately after the 'POST' (the Toshiba logo, etc) screen with a flash of blue screen.
Holding F8 to read the message, it says INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE (0x000007B)...
Try to restore to a point before the blackout failed for an unknown reason (gave an error).
Search in Google gave a possible cause - maybe the hard disk driver was changed by an incompatible type. There were some suggestions to turn off the AHCI in the bios, but it doesn't have this option.
The bios was not updated since purchase (this is version 1.4), but I can't update because it seems that the only update provided by Toshiba requires windows.

Someone has any idea how to fix the computer without having to reinstall windows? No matter what?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ofir

    Hello

I doubt that it could be a hardware error (my personal opinion) but nothing is impossible, that you know
The fact is that a BSOD can be caused by hardware error, but also a serious software problem
In my opinion, something went wrong during the update

If you are not able to boot the operating system even by using a safe mode then a new install of the OS would be the last chance to get this sort problem

I think you should try a new installation to see if this could be a hardware problem because there is a small remnant of risk that this could be a hardware problem

  • Folder permissions resets automatically after each reboot

    Hello

I have windows 7 x 64 user. There is a problem with google reader I need different from that of the default permissions for C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp. I changed the permissions in this way: make a right click-> Security-> advanced-> permissions-> change approval-> clicked on include... inherited permissions and replace the child object permissions... Also, the folder option, I changed the hidden folders. However, after each reboot, I see not hidden files (hidden folder option resets to do not show hidden file) and permissions for resetting folder above. What causes reset of the changed properties? I have no optimizer tool except ccleaner. I use mcafee antivirus. I think that mcafee is unlikely to cause this problem.
How can I solve this problem? I tried to make the batch file that runs boot, but I can't use option "inherit permissions". I give you the batch commands:
    ICACLS C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp /setowner directors
    ICACLS "C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp" / grant everyone: F
But these commands do not work to change the permissions in the manner described above.
    Help, please. Really need help.
    ICACLS C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp /setowner directors
    ICACLS "C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp" / grant everyone: F

But these commands do not work to change the permissions in the manner described above.
    Help, please. Really need help.

There was a similar post last week which unfortunately has fizzed out (as do about 95% of all messages...).  Maybe you can gather enough energy not only to track down the source of your problem, but also post an answer here.

The following commands do not work:
    takeown /f "%Temp%" /.
    Cacls "%Temp%" / t/g everyone: F
    (answer Y to the prompt)
And Yes, I know cacls.exe is deprecated. But it still works!
  • Safari restarts immediately after you stop smoking, or to quit the Force

I have a problem whereby Safari restarts immediately whenever I quit the app, either through the command-Q or via force quit. I can always restart my laptop when it's market (and Safari does not immediately restart after restart), but sometimes I want to close Safari to remove distractions or save battery. I disabled all Extensions of Safari, but that did not fix the problem.

An additional bit of weird behavior, it is that once Safari restarts after resigning, the browser window is hidden until I Alt - Tab to Safari.

I heard that the SIMBL plugins can cause this happens. The only thing I've had has SafariStand, that I uninstalled it a long time ago (and I see all the entries of SIMBL in the Application Support folder or in the activity monitor).

I use Safari 9.0.2 in El Capitan 10.11.2 on a Late-2008 aluminium MacBook (5.1) with a self installed 240 GB SSD and 8 GB of RAM.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Happy to share the newspapers/screenshots. Thank you!

    Chris

Please read this message before doing anything.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

Test in safe mode. Same problem?

After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.
