Welcome kit lack of black ink

Why my Welcome Kit did not come with a black and a color instead of two color cartridge ones?  I now use the color cartridge to print in black because black is out with no replacement in sight.  I can't find anything that says what is supposed to be in the Welcome Kit, in particular, so I don't know if this is right or if it's a mistake.  We use mainly black ink (of course) so I don't really want to wait a month get a new cartridge on my plan.  I hope that all this will work as advertised, but feel quite uncertain at this stage.  All I have this problem and you can share what happened then?

What printer model? Which country are you?  You are in the instant the ink program?

I suggest you Contact HP.  If you are in the United States, call 1-800-HPINVENt.

  • Photosmart 7510 - black ink cartridge does not print

Recently, I replaced the ink cartridges on my Photosmart 7510 C311A. These are all the "genuine HP cartridges ', full.

Black ink (with the symbol of the Pentagon) does not print, not at all. I ran through the standard troubleshooting steps:

    Cleaning of printheads

    Cleaning of copper contacts

    * Check for a good evacuation

My colleague in the corridor as the printer even so I borrowed his black ink cartridge and tried: same problem. The printer does not record that there is a problem, but when I run printing tests, where there should be a black ink, there is absolutely none. All other colors print correctly.

The printer doesn't lack NOT of the printer "align" test however does not offer a suggestion of what to do from there. I've not seen - in test reports - an indiciation of the misalignment.

Suggestions on what to do now?

I had the same problem. I had replaced the empty cartridge black and suddenly, no ink. Finally, what has worked is
    (1) I removed all the cartridges and cleaned the copper connectors with wet Publix.
    (2) I got a wet paper towel and he pressed repeatedly on the silver circular vent that would be under the black cartridge. I did until no black came. Let it dry.
    (3) I replaced all the cartridges and on the printer. I went to tools/clean the cartridge. I did it a couple of times and he finally printed black ink! I confirmed by going to tools/align, and align the cartridges successfully. He had kept before crashes when the black ink did not work.

  • Want black ink issue 5532

    Hello

I just bought the HP Envy 5532 wireless printer and I'm having a few problems with black ink. At the present time, the printer recognizes the genuine hp cartridge and the ink for the black cartridge, but there is no black output when you print the alignment page which results in an error when trying to align the printer.

I tried the suggestions in the guides online around this question, including troubleshooting:

    1. ensure that the printer is plugged directly into a socket, rather than through any surge protectors or multisockets
    2. mode single cartridge (with just the black cartridge, it prints just an empty alignment page.
    3. check that the cartridge produces a line of black ink and not just a task using a tissue
    4. Remove and reinsert the cartridge
    5. update the software of the product on the printer using the built-in Wi - Fi connection

None of the above has solved the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi adamsq,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I appreciate all the troubleshooting steps you have already covered, no there wasn't one thing that has not yet been made, so I would like to you to continue here: printer does not print black ink or color of ink or prints blank Pages

  • OfficeJet 7000 Wide Format pri: HP Officejet 7000 Wide format printer will not print black ink

I'm looking for a solution fix what is an occasional problem with our Officejet 7000 and arose once again today. The printer will print any black ink. I did the procedure to print alignment and cleaning print head as well.  I tried to clean the evacuation on the real printer cartridge area as recommended by some responses from support group.  When this has happened, I can fix it usually wiping the area where the ink comes out of the printer cartridge, but nothing works today.  The cartridge is 3/4 full.

Other than to throw this printer and all the ink cartridges, I bought already for later use, suggestions for what else someone could solve this problem?  There seems to be a lot of people who have posted similar problems in recent years.

    Hi @P-architect,.

    Thanks for the reply.

The only print head is CN643A, the 6500 and 7500 HP 564 cartridges as well usage. I searched the HP Print Store and found that you really want to be looking for a KIT of REPLACEMENT FIELD HP 564, and the part number is CE001A. The replacement of the field Kit contains a set of ink which are used to set up the print head. It's not like there are none currently in stock, but it is a clickable link to resellers who may have one available.

    I hope this helps!

    Thank you.

  • Black ink problem 5520

Smart photo 5520 has not been used for about 3 months and now black ink will not print. Any suggestions please.

    Hi people,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you are facing some print quality problems on your HP Photosmart 5520, you cannot print in black ink.

I would like that you start here: printer does not print black ink or color of ink or prints blank Pages, I understand, you may have made some of these steps already but I need you to complete all the steps in order to solve the problem of the missing black, you encounter.

Please note: there are three stages of print head cleaning. Three steps if necessary. If the print head is badly clogged, it may require another round of cleaning. If so, wait 30 minutes after the last step of cleaning (third) to start the first stage of the cleanup process.

If you are unable to print in black ink, I think that the issue may be the printer and not the cartridge. I highly recommend call you our technical support at the 800-474-6836, I'm sure they will be able to help you regardless of the status of the guarantee. • HP Deskjet 1000 J110: Intense black print with the black ink cartridge only

    Hello

I am trying to print the darkest possible black, but simply by using the black ink cartridge. How do I get there?

My printer is HP deskjet 1000 J110 using cartridge HP 301.

I do my drawing in Adobe Illustrator and set the color to be CMYK 100 100 100 100.

If I insert only the black cartridge, the printer will leave empty place where color CMY ink should be or it will fill the space with black ink?

Basically, what I'm trying to do is to increase the density of ink to the highest possible but only using only the black cartridge.

    Thank you.

  • HP deskjet 3520 scan copy main: print in black ink only

does always change to print in black ink only, or is it possible to save it so I don't have to go properties, advanced to change

    Thanks robert

Welcome to the HP community @robert3591,

I read your post want to print in black ink only, from your Deskjet 3520 and how, you do not select this option, every time you print from your Windows Vista system.

I would say to change the option to print in black ink only from "Devices and printer" to contain the parameter always print in black. This is a great detailed post from my colleague @X-23 , which shows all the instructions and screenshots:

  • DeskJet 3522 does no black ink print

I got a new DeskJet 3522 for just a few months, when I tried to print a PDF file yesterday, black ink started to print very, very faintly, and then completely disappeared.  I guess I was out of ink, so I bought a new HP black cartridge.  When changing the cartridge, the ink level showed a black ink left, but in any case, I changed the cartridge.  The new cartridge does not print also.  He still has a lot of ink in the color cartridges and it shows a totally black cartridge.  Displays the level of the cartridge are generally accurate?  Have I not a new cartridge defective?  What is the problem?  Thank you.

I recently updated my HP 8.1 Windows of Windows 10 laptop.  I have the same type of printer (Envy 5530) installed at my other House and updated my desktop computer for Windows 10 and had no problem with printing, but now I'm with the laptop.  I try to print documents now and the printer does not print anything using black ink.  Color ink prints, black ink just not. The two jets of ink are filled.  I did all the "try these patches" suggested Windows and HP Print doctor.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer twice.  I rebooted the computer several times.  I'm no tech person by any means and have no one to help me or ask what else to do.
