  Last night, I took my laptop HP Pavilion 17 t Touch brand new out of the box and it is so slow.  The startup is slow.  All operations running slow.  The use of the internet is slow.  I tried to transfer files from Carbonite on this new computer and just the process of realization of this installation took me a half hour.  This morning I had to reboot and it took 5 minutes.  I only know enough about computers to be dangerous, so I don't mess with many settings myself.  This performance unacceptible on a new computer.  This is certainly the slowest computer I've ever owned.  All solutions that anyone can offer (as a reminder, I need instructions step by step)

  You must contact the HP Customer Support directly so they put you in contact with HP Tech Support to see what they can do on the diagnosis and repair of your machine remotely.

• Brand new Lenovo Ideacentre Y700 not connect to a monitor

  Yesterday, I received the Lenovo Ideacentre Y700 but when I went to put in place, I found that no matter how I plugged the monitor, the monitor showed an error no signal.   Open windows control panel, open programs and features, make a right click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and select uninstall.

  I have a brand new (less than 1 week) HP Envy 15 t-as000 w / a 256 GB SSD.  After the impeccable behavior for 1 week, the laptop can be started is no longer.  No boot device is detected.  If I try to run a diagnostic on the hard disk, the BIOS I was informed that it can not detect even a current hard drive (see image)

  However, I am frustrated because after all taxes and transportation costs, I had to pay an additional amount of $10.  The total general of the replacement order was $739,79 against $730,90 for the original purchase.  Why am I penalized $ 10 ($8,89 to be exact) for a mistake that was not even my fault?

  Also, I had to pay $24,83 FedEx packaging to send the laptop back.  How was I supposed to know I should have brought the Moose with me to Seattle, WA in Ithaca, NY packaging because the SSD was going to fail in my college dorm?

  So in the end, my HP Envy $730,90 now goes to the identical replacement of cost unit $739,79 + packaging from FedEx $24,83 phone = $ 764,62.

  Bottom line: screw - up HP cost me $33,72!  Not the end of the world but still a ringing sound nice when you're not yet a career with a cushy salary of mickael elite.

  I just bought a computer brand new over the weekend.  I decided to buy HP model: h8-1214.  While the configuration of the computer, I noticed that when it comes to install the programs, the installation process takes forever and I just cant seem to be able to install them.  For example, my Adobe programs.  The computer gives me a very long estimate time.  I tried to leave overnight to install, but the minutes about just get more 100 000.   I tried several times and try other programs, but the time to just estimate accumulates.  I tried to download on my laptop computer and another computer and I have no problem, everything is installed perfectly.  I don't understand why this computer is not take quick installation, like the others.  The windows program and the operating system is the same, so I don't really understand.  I made sure that all updates have been made and still no luck.  Any advice would be appreciated.

  Problem solved. I just waited a few days to try again and repeat the steps for Sami, check the updates, disabled firewall and tried to install again. This time, I had no problem.

• MASTERED OPTION IS GRAYED OUT WHEN YOU TRY TO BURN A HOME PC PREM BRAND NEW VIRGIN DVD + R ON VISTA 32-BIT

  Due to virus I had to rebuild PC using the RECOVERY partition on hard drive. All windows updates have been applied to date (August 2011). Before the virus problem (July 2011) WAS able TO SELECT THE "MASTERED" OPTION WHEN YOU are GOING to USE WINDOWS TO BURN a VIRGIN DVD + r. NEW once AGAIN, this WORKED BEFORE, NOW THE MASTER OPTION IS GRAYED OUT.  I have a brand new DVD + R blank and tried several of them thinking it was the disk (I've used this same brand (magnavox) DVD + R 4 years now never this problem of the "controlled" option is grayed out.) I use the same DVD burner which came with the PC and it allowed me to select the option "Mastered" last month (July 2011). I am using Windows HomePrem 32-bit OS (originial system that came with PC and this allowed me to select the mastered option last month. I applied all the updates Win at present. I have no other problems with the PC. Once again, driving the nail: this WORKED BEFORE, last month on the exact same hardware and the software/OS (Juillet2011), then why this option appears GRAYED out now?  This question has been asked before and 'experts' simply stressed totally USELESS MS pages showing how to select either under control or direct - I DO NOT NEED THIS HELP as I ALREADY KNOW HOW TO SELECT either option and what each is for. Also the other 'fixed' DOES NOT APPLY to this situation.   I just got a brand new Acer Aspire 5542-1462 with Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed. I have almost exclusively while plugged operated. Battery in the notification area icon indicates that the battery is at "97% (plugged in, does not support)." How can I get the battery charge? Is there a threshold above which it does not load?   This is how it works:

  1. When you turn on your laptop, if your battery is more than 95%. you will get the message "connected but no charging current.

  2. When you turn on your laptop, if your battery is less than 95%, you will see the message "blocked and charge" until the battery reaches 100% (not 95%). That is why sometimes, even if you see that your battery is at 97% and load, this means before starting your laptop, the battery was less than 95% and reached 97% since then.

  Apart from the above explanation it seems some problems with the mentioned error. So, try the following steps as well.

  1. click on Start and type device in the search for field, and then select Device Manager .
  2 expand the category of batteries .
  3. under the batteries category, right-click in the list of Microsoft ACPI compatible with battery control method and choose Uninstall .
  WARNING : do not remove the Microsoft AC adapter driver or any other compatible ACPI driver.
  4. on the taskbar of the Device Manager, click on Search the hardware changes .
  You can also select Action > search the hardware changes .

  I got a brand new HP Photosmart Premium Fax e-All-in-One Printer-C410a Monday. Today is Wednesday, and I have yet to print a two-sided copy successfully. It will print the first side of a page, pull the paper in the duplex unit, display clear paper jam then press O message, and I'll open the duplexer and remove the paper

  Recto pages seem to print very well, but this product every time I try to print double-sided copies - the duplexer has not worked once.

  The jammed paper that I am deleting is not torn or badly crumpled, and since he's out of the box for three days now, I can't believe he would already need cleaning. Is there something obvious that I'm missing, or do I just to cart this thing at the store?

  seems to have solved my problem, at least for now. I'm not clear on why a brand new printer, charge-out-of-the-box if need cleaning to work properly, but if that's all it took, at least, it's a good solution cheap and fairly easy.

  You can use any DVI monitor DVI port directly or have any VGA monitor with the power that you adapter. A HDMI monitor might work with an adapter DVI to HDMI in a pinch, but HDMI tends to be more fickle.

  The IMEI number is printed on the back of the phone, unless it's an iPhone 6. You can also find the serial number by eject the tray of the SIM card on the right side of the phone (insert a paper clip or similar object into the hole). It is in very small print at the bottom of the status bar.

  It should also be in the box the iPhone provided in if you bought Apple or an authorized dealer.

  Since Apple is no longer selling the iPhone 5 s, she cannot be considered more for free apps.
