Why my blackberry cannot print directly to my printer

Hi new here so go us,

I have a HP officejet 6500 has more I download the HP eprint site APP blackberry Web can you tell me why I can't print directly to my printer?

I can print to it if I email the address of the printer, but I should if I'm sitting next to him, also all mobile print shops are in the USA and would it be a long way to go to pick up the United Kingdom.

Thanks for your time.

Hey 10blad!

The mobile app ePrint is used to be able to print in places public printer, not on your own personal printer. I know this can be confusing because of the name of the application, but the easiest way to print from a blackberry via the email address of the printer. What I recommend is that you configure email address as a contact printer that will allow you to access easily when you need to print.

Let me know if it helps!

    Hi @clairerobinson6.

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that your printer does not print and directs you to instant ink site. I would like to help.

The printer is in the instant the ink program. He receives this error for two reasons. The printer has not been able to connect to the servers of HP ink level controls or the number of pages in a long time, or there is a bill pending. Normally when you sign in to your instant account of ink there is an opinion on the matter. If you do not see a notification, try to reach out to the instant the ink Department.

  • Cannot print on a Brother printer after Windows Update

We share the same brother MFC-8660DN on a network (Win XP x 4 & Win 2008 Server x 1), everything was fine until yesterday (16/09/10). 2 XP computers cannot print (Status: printing error) just after the recent update of windows installation (windows auto update has been set for each week). When we tried to print to the brother printer, he would be stuck in queue for a minute and a bubble pop up "document cannot be printed." 2 computers work fine otherwise. Everything works normoally and can be printed to another printer like Canon. (PS: I tried to uninstall and reinstall the brother printer driver, but no luck the question of setting)

On the other hand, the other 2 XP did not have an update, and so they can't always print on the Brother printer. Also, Win 2008 server doing a windows update auto but print very well so.

Therefore, I believe that the update of windows XP must have something to do with the printing error. Is there a fix or update? Alternatively, we can uninstall the recent windows update (only one?) to solve this problem? I'm not sophisticated OS, do not know what could be uninstalled. Help, please!

I received a call from a client 2010-Sep-16 that they could no longer print
on a network printer from any workstation.

Workstations have Vista Business 32 and have been updated morning of September 16.

The server is Server2003 & printing it still worked well.

Printers using IP ports very well for more than 2 years.
Fix was to use instead of the intellectual property & create ports with the full share name.

The IP address of the printer had not changed AND
I couldn't always navigate with IE8 (using IP address)
    printer see printer configuration data

    Workstations are Server 2003 domain

This trick of name full-fledged was how I had to put in place
    Vista Home Premium workstations
to use network printers in home networks.

Why Vista Business "updated" settings for Home Premium?
Is this a permanent 'update '?

Why no matter what version of VISTA do this?
Windows 7 has the same problem?

With Vista Business 32 (short-term)? solution was to change the port to a local port with full sharing of the printer name

    See you soon
  • Cannot print in color of HP Officejet 6310 all-in-one

I have a printer all-in-one color HP Officejet 6310, connected to the network. The ink levels are fine - I just bought new ink.

The printer cannot print in color, my computer Windows laptop, no problem, but will print in black & white Mac.

Why? Y at - it an option for color printing that I haven't checked? How can I fix?

go to the icon of the Apple at the top left > system preferences > printers and scanner/print and scan / print and fax.

remove the printer using the "-" lower-left next to the icon (+)

After you remove > press the plus (+) icon.  > Click on 'Add a printer or a scanner', if it has given you this opportunity.

in the new window > click on the name of your printer. Then check the bottom > NAME, LOCATION, PRINT USING (USE).

Make sure the part "USE" or "PRINTING to AID", it should be the AIRPRINT printer name not.

Then ADD at the bottom right. > try to print in color now.

  • HP Laserjet 4 MP: HP Laserjet 4 MP - just switched to Windows 10 - cannot print

Hi - I used my Laserjet without any problems on Windows 7 but cannot print now that I went to 10 Windows.   The Laserjet 4 MP is listed on the page of the driver for Windows 10 HP, but the directions for upgrading the driver doesn't seem to work or there is something that I'm not enter.

In "Devices and printers", my printer shows already that it is selected with the green check mark.  When I go to "Add a printer", it does not find the printer, even when you use the option 'my printer's oldest  So I went the next step, try using the IP address. Print my printer Config pages to try to find the ip address/port, but nothing seems to match them.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I went through all the steps of the Windows Update, found on pilots of widows 10 for Laserjet page mentioned above, but this time, instead of choosing the LPT 1 port, I chose the USB virtual port (I remembered reading on that port for an alternative online), and it worked!  (LPT 1 was probably active before a few years ago, I bought a USB connector for the cable to the printer)

  • Cannot print with HP c4385 all in one.

Had to install my lenovo Y430 lap top as my main home computer. something happened to my old ibm XP pro computer.

The lenovo is using windows 7 pro. I downloaded and installed the new driver HP printer... does not work. I went through all the diagnostic tests for the lenovo and the c4380 printer. But anyway I put the thing I cannot print docs or photos through the thing that either wireless or connected directly to a USB port. I tried all 3 USB ports (and when I plug & unplug the printer - the system gives a boing) and I changed the usb cable to a nother I know works. still not printing. I need this device impression that I run a small business from home. I was able to scan with the device. but no impression of any sort, I nominated this printer as the default printer in the computer (it is the only printer attached to the computer). The computer says that I don't have printed successfully the doc... but no doc prints.   Help

  • Windows 7 Professional 32 bit. Printer Spooler problem. Cannot print.

I have Windows 7 Professional 32 bit. I did a clean install of Vista.

Basically I'm not able to add a printer, because of the many errors I get.

If I go to the printers-> add printer. I got the error: "Windows can't open add printer." The local print spooler service
does not work. Please restart the spooler or restart the machine.
Then I go to Run-> Services.msc and manually restart and 'Start' the printer spooler.

So now the Add Printer dialog box and choose to add a local printer... There is no existing port to choose
go and it does not create a new port. (I have to reboot and start the spooler each time before you can
to successfully open the Add Printer dialog box). (The Printer Spooler as somehow 'stop' shortly after I 'start'.

Go back and I try to add a network printer. I see my printer network hosted on the network drive, click on the
printer and I select the printer begins to try to install it, but it quickly produces the error message:
"Windows cannot connect to the printer. The local print spooler service is not running. Please restart the spooler or
    restart the machine.

I have absolutely no idea what could cause this problem. And Yes, I tried the Support to call Microsoft, the rep had no idea what was causing it.

And the print spooler dependencies are listed below:
This service depends on the following system components:
    Remote procedure call

The following system components depend on this service:
    Fax

If any ideas why I can't print?

    Hi j8636,

As the print spooler service stops automatically, I suggest that run you a scan for viruses/malware.

    Windows 7 Ultimate

This is the next thing I tried...

    HP Laserjet M1005 MFP printer

Problem: print one copy and ignore the rest of them

1 mopier moye... There is no mode mopier on my device

    2. adjust the printer to print directly.

    3 re install the driver

    4. update the firmware

5 restart the spooler and in her service automatic setting

    6 deactivation of advanced print

    7. buy a new printer

My new printer is Canon LBP 3300

Problem: His little different than Hp, now when I try to print multiple copies, it does print none of them...

The two printer works fine with other computers.

    Hi Nitin,

You mentioned that the mopier mode setting is not available for the printer. You can check if there is a possible working storage?

    Here's how to find one:

    • Select StartControl Panel<>Printers.
    • Right-click the desired printer icon and select printer Properties.
    • Select the device settings tab.
    • Find settings for storage of the work at the end of the list. (Check if the mopier mode is available in this setting. This setting could also be under "Installation Options").
    • Change the settings for active to disabled.
    • Click apply and OK.

Check out these links for other procedures for troubleshooting related to the issue:

You can also disable ranking for the printer:

    1. Go to file > Print > collate box.
    2. Uncheck the box for the collate box.

In addition, when you try to print a document, launch the document in administrator mode. For example: right-click on the word and select run as administrator of mode.

  • Cannot print with a HP 2200 printer in o/s Windows 7 Premium Home

I am able to print on the printer HP LaserJet 2200 with a HP PC with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit (this PC was purchased 9-2010); However, with a new Dell PC as Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, I can't print to the HP 2200 printer. It is a standalone PC not connected to the network with 16 GB of RAM, i7 CPU, with USB cable to the printer. I have no problem with my printer HP DeskJet 5550 10 year, printing from the new Dell PC, but the HP 2200 printer aged 11 year cannot meet the Dell PC.  I tried to change the USB to different outlets, deleteting the driver, reboot, reinstall the driver (after first unplug the printer and USB cable). The driver will install because the computer is working when I plug in it, USB cable, but when I try to print the printer icon in the status bar at the bottom of the screen appears and says "zero documents waiting for my PC. I tried to change various settings in the printer properties dialog box. tried to see if necessary to change queue settings (they have not), tried to change the networking to allow the discovery of public networks, tried to download and install the PCL5 and PCL6 site Web HP's drivers and even tried to run the driver in compatibility mode for XP in the hope that would work.

The pilot keeps picking DOT4-001 as port on the Dell PC that worked well on HP PC. I am surprised to see the printer 9 year would choose a USB port and printer 2200 11 years old would want a DOT port. The old HP PC was also a standalone PC with USB connection to the printer. The two PCs have factory installed operating systems.
