Basic followed in 11 GR 2 question

Really fundamental questions:
(1) can I use DBMS_MONITOR to draw? It seems that DBMS_SUPPORT, DBMS_SESSION, alter session set events... and alter session set sql_trace, etc.. ALL can be used to turn on the tracing level statement (but paradoxically not DBMS_TRACE package, of course)
(2) I want to remove out during my session to a particular statement level track and I also want (in addition to the track) to display a map of the explain command (with estimated AND actual lines/bytes/etc.). Is the correct way to remove the output to use SET AUTOTRACE TRACEONLY?

During the process, I see a "Treatment of Script" dialog box, where it indicates the number of rows retrieved slowly climbing (yet once, it is a 1 M line query, used to fill a DW) - is there a way to bypass the line recovery, but still get a trace?

ALLSTATS_LAST can be used with DBMS_XPLAN. DISPLAY_CURSOR but not with DBMS_XPLAN. DISPLAY which can only retrieved explain plan statistics (i.e. what the CBO estimated and not detailed implementation plan).

I've never used a DBMS_SQLDIAG and he does not seem to be related to SQL tracing. DBMS_MONITOR is only 10046 trace (tracing SQL) AFAIK.

Forget to e. The file is not on E, it's on your hard drive (C) waiting to be burned (written) on a CD (that will E).

When you have done the research and found the file, what happened when you selected (clicked once on) the file and you press the delete key?

If for some reason you can't use the graphical interface (for example, Windows Explorer) to remove the file, open a command prompt.

You should get a list of all files in the directory of CD burning. Most likely, your annoying file is listed. Led type followed by the file name.

You could do all this in one step, of

Type cd "C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\CD Burning owner"

The quotes may or may not be necessary (I don't remember at the moment), but should not hurt to have them.

Basic iMovie... so frustrated questions

I am a long time user of iMovie... This latest version 10.01 seems to have way back.

How can I select several photos on the timeline and change the duration?

Why the background music does not disappear when I add pictures?

I am so frustrated with this latest version - I used to be able to make very detailed editing and synchronization of music - now it feels like a roll of the dice.

I'm on the most recent and iMac, el capitan and iMovie last.

To change the duration of multiple photos, hold down the SHIFT key, and then select several photos. In the toolbar at the top of your screen, click the information button (the one that has an i with a circle around it). You will see a box below and to the right length. Enter the desired time. Press return on your keyboard. All of your selected photos will now have the same duration.

The background music should not disappear when you add photos. Don't know why you are having this problem. However, if you delete the photo to which is attached the audio clip, the audio will be deleted as well. If your problem persists, you might try a simple reboot, or move your videos to a newly created project.

control of Sax basic question

I recently installed Systat SigmaPlot 11, installation went very well. The program runs not and says "can not find the Sax basic command, please reinstall." The question is, I had already had this software on my computer before an upgrade of the hard drive. I'm running MS Vista without SP1, as I was before. I tried to 'fix' the installation without success. When I uninstall gives me internal error 2762, so I had to run a third party app to rid my computer of this program (it cleaned up the registry as well). So I repeated this process several times, install, run fail, uninstall, fail, run third-party application, reinstall, run, fail...

I google and google and nothing found on the base of Sax control and why I might have had before and's it not now. Can someone help me understand how to get this program to run, if I need Sax basic control where to get, etc...

Windows credentail Manager / SSO question, hope someone can help me out on the following problem that concerns me a fews months ago.

Currently, our network has replaced a border router that connects to a Checkpoint firewall. After the replacement, the SSO service is fully does not. When you use IE to access my company's intranet, he invites me user intranet and pw whenever I close IE and reopen. I find that the credentials are already stored on the Credential Manager. However, the guest continues to show every time I run the application IE. Most users under this router with the same problem.

In addition, the problem is not limited to EI. It happens on the Outlook as well. I would really like to know

(1) why the credentail crib does not work?

(2) what is the mechanism behind?

(3) is it possible the problem caused by the firewall and router? If Yes, what should I do on them to make the window manager of credentials to work?

Hi, I'm new to weblogic administration. How can I find the databases accessed by application? How to find dependencies of the application for a given applicattion? Apart from data bases on what resources to ask idepends? I don't have access to the administration console. What is the another way to find this info?

I will be happy for any info you guys provide me in order to understand the basics of weblogic better beyond my questions.

Regarding the dependencies of the application, those are usually described in application deployment descriptors. I suggest to ask the team of application for each application.

Question about batteries for laptops and a station (HP Elitebook 840)

I have a question for plagging the laptop to the docking station and battery, basically my main concern is not to connect to the laptop to run a/c, while it is fully charged and I'm always load only up to 100% and then when it reaches the minmum load then I connect it comes back to a/c, so my question here

So do you think that that plug the laptop into the docking station will not decrease the duration of battery life because it will always be in charge mode?

XP Pro SP3 still slow after a month of following threads

I built a computer for my wife and he played wonderfully up until a month ago when she told me that she thought she had a virus because his PC is really slow. She was correct and I found and cleaned several threats to his machine. Even created a Kaspersky bootable cd and did a cleanup of that. I managed to get rid of all viruses detected at this stage. I ran full scans with Kaspersky, AVG, Norton 360, Spybot, Adaware, Webroot and Hitman Pro. All the latter reported no threat. Machine has always been very slow, so I started following discussions here. I used msconfig to take everything on commissioning. I have optimized, defragmented, and managed to get rid of unused programs. I've been following son and make all the suggestions I found for over a month and still crawling along. I used a timer to Boot XP to see how long it has taken for the computer to boot, and he returned with 770 seconds, or nearly 13 minutes. Consumers two great time according to the timer to start XP is the services.exe and svchost.exe two of these samples for 5 minutes. Ideas that have already been posted here? Thank you.

One thing that is often overlooked when startups/performance troubleshooting HARD drive Transfer Mode setting. This applies only to IDE (not the SATA drives) drives. If transfer Modes slipped DMA in PIO, you'll have a system "lame".

Since the implementation of the MS Answers forum does not prompt for the basic system information when a new question is asked (as the system brand and model), I can't tell if this applies to you or not if you can tell us that. If you are not sure, we say the make and model and we can look it up.

AVG, Norton and Spybot are known hogs CPU and memory so if you have those installed and enabled that could be part of the problem, but if you have disabled the throughout the msconfig may be that it is not. Installation of too many AV programs is not always a good thing. It is possible to have too much protection on your system.

You use Bootlog XP to get these hours? It is a good tool to find why your bootstrap system takes so long so that it starts. A nice bar chart to show you that everything is being done and you focus on long horizontal lines in the table and work on these areas.

Visual Basic 6 IDE - Windows Common Controls 6.0 does not work after March 31, 2013

I apologize if this isn't the appropriate section of this post, but I couldn't find a better.

I'm under Visual Basic 6.0 sp6 IDE on both 64-bit Windows 7 systems. They worked wonderfully until last Monday.
Now, I have a problem only on ONE of them: I can't use the Windows Common Controls 6.0 in VB6 IDE.
Existing projects are unable to load all references and new projects allow me to add common controls in the components.
This occurs only in the VB6 IDE, executables compiled work very well.

The error I get when I try to add common controls in the IDE is a generic "file not found".
If I run the IDE with Windows XP compatibility mod or administrator privileges, the error becomes 'unregistered object library'

The weird part is that:
(1) a computer has been used Sunday 31 is now unable to use the VB6 IDE Windows common controls.
(2) another computer was off from Friday 29 to 2nd Monday is not at all account of any problem.

It seems related to the MSCOMCTL. OCX or of its dependencies. I tried a few combinations of these steps:
-Reinstall the IDE
-Deregister and reregister the OCX
-With the help of new files from the system of work
-Manually remove all the entries in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\ {831FDD16-0C5C-11D2-A9FC-0000F8754DA1}
-Perform a reboot between each steps
None of the above has worked, in any combination.

Now the part "stranger":
If I change the date to March 30, VB6 IDE system once again the common controls. Switching back to today's date, brings back the problem.

During the night between 30 and 31, time spent, my it guessing this and the fact that the computer has been used Sunday 31, is somehow related to the problem.

I was advised in another thread (where a user knows my situation, with 4 systems on 10, with the same symptoms), I ask if this problem could be transmitted to Microsoft, if possible.

Difficulty finding downloaded CS6 (upgraded to CS5) to win after following the steps all the recommended

Hi there - would appreciate a helping hand on what I'm sure is a very basic request - I purchased the CS5 CS6 upgrade online about 3 days ago and signed in and find my order, clicked on it and did what I thought was 'Download', whereas download and then download window disappeared and I thought he'd jump upward with 'Run' or similar , but nothing happens. This has happened 3 times. I have been using the net session Akamai - I checked in my downloads folder each time and there is nothing there. My order and the serial number now appear in the downloads section of my account at Adobe so that apparently means that it is downloaded but I can't find anything! Thank you people

Question Equium L350 - 10L new HARD drive and recovery

Hi all.

My L350 - 10L has a HD death. Just does not start. I tried the HARD drive recovery system, but after it formatted the HD I got a message saying that the image file is corrupted. I removed the HD and connected to my desktop to save personal files (before I tried the recovery) and there were real issues reading the disc. I got most of the documents & E-mail eventually (had to run a lot of check disk runs using a 3rd party disk partition software). I think that the drive is actually physically damaged somehow.

I'll need to buy a new set of Toshiba recovery disks (too long a story to explain, but it's basically my fault), but my main question is this: if I buy a new HD still recovery disks to restore my system to its original state even if it isn't the original HD? There, I guess I mean will the recovery discs recreate the 3 partitions - WinRE (Hidden), Vista C: and D: data and set the correct boot and information industries? And I suppose that a secondary question who would be the HD should be the same size as the original one (120 GB said / 111GB actually)?

The Toshiba Recovery disk will define the laptop (and HARD drive), the factory settings.
This means that the recovery DVDs will format the whole HARD drive and it will create the partitions and all the rest as on the first day of purchase.

I hope I could bring a precision...

It is not DDR3 or DDR2 even... it's the original DDR, just DDR PC2700 aka. PC3200 or DDR400 (same thing) also works

One of the great debacle of recent years was when the industry was selling computers with 512 MB Vista. They have been slow and caused much of the poor reception for Vista. Windows 7 manages memory better than Vista and "work" on 512 megs, but there is nothing you want to try to use.

Model of LabVIEW VeriStand 2013 IO question

During a project, that I'm working on, we decided to update our version of NI LabVIEW 2013 and 2013 VeriStand. For this project, we manage a combination of models, the .lvmodel and the .dll (compiled model Simulink). These models are deployed to an RMC 8354 using VeriStand. Following this update we have questions on our models LabVIEW successfully deploy. I was able to reproduce the problem with a very stripped down or isolated, version which I enclose. In this model, there is a digital control, a Boolean control, and a cluster that contains a digital control. There is also an indicator of each corresponding data types. All numerical values are double precision. The model block diagram is empty except for the controls and indicators, no cables or other elements. Without you connect controls and indicators of the model will be fine. If I connect the 3 orders and 3 indicators from different types of data, I get an error, the log to deploy it is attached to the post.

I am also attaching VeriStand project files, the VI of model and the integrated version of the model.

I wonder, can anyone, or any who already has, reproduced this unit or a similar problem? Anyone has any ideas on what may have caused this error to occur or how to solve the problem?
