Black screen - mouse - will not start any other

HI -.

Windows 7. Tries to start, but ends up with the black screen of death and also shows a mobile cursor.
Try the drive of product recovery but ends up with the same screen... Try to watch a disc external hard docking station and can not read disk 'Local' - but can see the information of the HARD drive.

How can I get the product recovery disc to recharge on the hard drive?
My guess is that the restore disc is writing the information on the hard drive - but cannot access it.

Does anyone think this might be OK?

Hello Oscar

What model of laptop do you have?
You created the recovery DVDs?
Installation of recovery is completed correctly?
You now have this problem at first start after the installation of recovery?
You can boot OS in safe mode?
> How can I get the product recovery disc to recharge on the hard drive?
As much as I know there no mechanism to force the recovery disc to do this.

All you can do is set the BIOS to the default settings and try again.

I can't say for sure, but somehow, I think that your HARD drive is troublemaker.

  • Satellite Pro L450D black screen and will not respond to any keys

    Hello

My niece has used his Toshiba L450D for almost a year now and he really liked it, who was until last month. She turned on her laptop and when she presses the button of the mouse, the button cracked and he fell into the laptop.

Now my brother contacted Toshiba and I was told because it is under warranty it might return for repair because it was a common fault. Then he he packed in loads of air bubbles and a box to make sure it was safe.

A few weeks later he came back repaired but we were all shocked that the laptop was put in a very loose box and you could hear this rattling noise. When we turned on the battery was flat and we had a new boot menu.

As she installed it Windows 7 laptop would boot directly into Windows 7, but now after the repair of the laptop shows a menu black screen with as follows:

    + Windows 7 +.
+ Recover Windows to Factory Settings [active EMS] +.

So we started in Windows and everything went well, but now after 5 or 10 or even 20 minutes, laptop displays a black screen and will not respond to keys or mouse movement. There is nothing on the screen its just black.

I started in SafeMode (which was more difficult with the new menu) and it does the same thing. I even managed to do a virus scan quick who took 3-4 minutes and was clean.

I would like some advice on what my niece is very angry, and it's difficult to explain what is happening to a child in the primary school.

    Any help would be grateful.

    Hello

Have you tried the option of HARD drive recovery?

If this is not the case, try to set the notebook back to factory settings using HARD drive recovery.
Turn on the device, press F12, choose repair my computer, then select Toshiba HDD recovery.

    I hope it will work!

I accidentally put 100 files on my desktop and it went to black screen and will not work

    Hello

Following methods and check if that helps.

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

Start your computer in safe mode and check if it starts very well.

    Step 2:

If the system starts in safe mode, then there would be a third-party software, causing the issue to occur. I wish that you start your machine in a clean boot State. Clean boot helps eliminate conflicts of third party software.

Note: Follow step 7 to your computer as usual.

    Method 2:

If this does not help, you can perform System Restore in safe mode.

We window directly on the hardware, you must install via Boot Camp

a 64 bit OS will not work unless you use an add-on as the EFI on 2006-2007 Mac Pros is only 32-bit.

The CD of Ubuntu 64 regular bits have to begin on older Intel Mac, as MacPro1, 1, because of incompatibilities EFI. You must download a special + mac CD of Ubuntu to work around this problem. To 11.04, you can get it here:http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/11.04/release/

  • My Apple Watch has a black screen and will not load.  I have it odd, but I can't seem to pair again.  Any ideas?

My Apple Watch appears to be dead.  The watch screen is black.  I have not matched the watch and we tried pair again, but the iPhone doesn't seem to acknowledge that she and I can't manually pair either.  Any ideas on what's going on?

Charge the watch first. Instructions here > check your battery and load your Apple Watch - Apple Support

If necessary, restart the Apple Watch.

You should force reboot your device as a last resort, and only if it does not. To force the restart your Apple Watch, press in and hold the side button and the digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, and then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.

Try the assistance provided in this support article > If your Apple Watch does not load, or it will not turn on - Apple Support

  • Satellite A100 has a black screen and will not charge in the Bios

I bought a Satellite A100 - (model psaa8c-0fh00e) about 5 months ago. It was left overnight, which is not uncommon, and when I came back using about 15 hours later it was just a black screen. moved from the touch screen and keys, and nothing did. so I cold it starts and he died. I then turned it back as usual and the laptop turns on but the screen is completely black. It's not loading the normal Toshiba Bios screen.

Now my question: If there is any way I can solve this, I am familiar with computers and parts. I don't get this cause I've ever had to reflash the wood or something like that. I am unsure of how to activate and I really want to have to take it to a shop, any suggestions would be helpful.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Conrad,.

If your 100 starts normally (spinning HARD drive, optical drive LED flashes, fans turn etc.) then I suppose that your FL inverter or LCD screen is not. You can check this by connecting an external monitor to the laptop to see if it shows the normal display.

On the other hand if there is no activity at all portable computer turn when you turn it on then I guess you have an internal hardware failure, possibly the main card, which must be checked by a Service partner authorized Toshiba since the unit is still under warranty if it is only 5 months old.

    Kind regards

  • Qosmio G40 - black screen and does not start

A bit of water on my laptop... (bought in 2007, guaranteed on)
I did not cut power at the time because it did not work properly...

    But, the next morning.
Start with a black screen, fan is too much work and I have a beep.
An and after a continuous short beep...

I opened it and dry all (air cold & mild)... paper to remove moisture.

but screen remains black, a beep and the fan not working too.

Please help... What can I do?

    Hey,.

It seems that water damged your laptop or at least some parts. In the worst cases, you need a lot of new pieces of equipment, but I don't think that an authorized service provider can help you diagnose this problem.

On the Toshiba site, you can search for them:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > find an authorized service provider

Contact them and ask for help. They will help you as much as possible. :)

    Hello

You mean that you are not able to access the BIOS?
Have you tried to use the FN + F5 key combination to switch to view different devices? Select this check box. Maybe the output display has been switched to external monitor?  :|

If nothing will not help to remove the battery and disconnect the portable AC.
Wait for about 1 hour then reconnect both sides and try to turn on the laptop.

  • Windows load with black screen and does not start after windows updates

Original title: load windows normally screen will not continue

I went to my computer tower and I chose to install updates when closing.  I went back later to re - turn on my computer and now it loads to the top of the black screen that gives you 5 options. safe mode, safe mode with networking safe mode command prompt, windows loads normally and finally to load windows from last known configuration that works.  Problem is that none of these options work.  they all return me to the same screen.  Help this laptop came preloaded with Win XP Media Center edition and I can't get back to work.  IM assuming I need a XP disk support center but I can't find them anywhere! HELP PLEASE SOMEONE!

    Hi Burton089,

Your hypothesis is right. To resolve this problem, we need to repair your installation of Windows using the Windows XP disk. We recommend that you contact the manufacturer of the laptop to check if they have the Windows recovery disk.

  • IPhone will not accept any other than the old ID

IPhone 5 and IOS WIN10 just installed a couple of days.  Trying to synchronize or establish a link to ICloud/Iphone - IPhone can't forget OLD Apple ID I do not have a PW for or can answer questions of security.  New Apple ID works on PC but not the iphone to ITunes but can't get phone off loop for old code.  Any general approached, I can take.  Already tried without success so far the Apple Support. Butcher

If you have enabled find my iPhone using the old Apple ID then the phone is off permanently unless you can remember the password. It is Activation Lock, a measure of deterrence of theft. There are several ways to get help to recover the password from https://iforgot.apple.comthen contact on behalf of Apple security team: Apple ID: contact Apple for assistance with the security of the Apple ID accounts

Your other option, if you bought the new phone, is to take the original invoice and the phone to an Apple store and they can remove the locking of Activation. But you must prove that you are the original owner.

But if none of these work you will never be able to use this phone again.

  • Satellite A200-13 M - black screen and will not turn off

    Hello

I just bought a * Satellite A200 13 M *. In the first market, Windows Vista seems to be properly installed and worked to internet (wifi) access. The Norton program has been updated, and I could download and install OpenOffice. However, as OpenOffice had reported a small amount of disk space available (55 GB) I tried to see the hard drive in the browser.

I clicked on Control Panel and waited to open. At this point, the arrow of the mouse has frozen. After awhile, I tried Ctrl, Alt, Del, and the system asked if I wanted to stop. I did, and a new screen has announced that Windows is being closed. This screen froze then in turn. I waited for a while and then tried to turn it off with the switch. The screen went black.

However, the blue light comes on, the fan is still running, but I nothing seems to wake up the machine. I called the service of maintenance of the shop, I bought from (Darty), but they are overloaded and said they'd call me in a couple days (!). Is there anything I can do in the meantime that would allow me to continue to work with the machine.

    Thank you

    Tim Mason

    Strange sounds! But it's a computer and sometimes, these machines don't {color: #ff0000} {color} strange things ;)

Anyway... try to remove the battery from the laptop and unplug the power adapter.
Wait about 20-30 min and connect everything again.

Then try turning on the laptop computer. If it is not a serious problem, the laptop must again!

If the BIOS page does not appear, then it s a serious question.
