• BlackBerry Z10 SOFTWARE PROBLEMS

  I have a Blackberry z10 STL 100-3. I'm heading, that there was an update, so I decided to check for this in the menu settings every time I check what he always says I have update of software of lates which isn't true because I never updated the interface and it looks the same. So I tried to update via Windows Blackberry link and if I check the updates it says also that I have the latest version of Blackberry software. So I decided to check the updated online and I download a thinking that this is the original which turns out is the edition of testers. I tried to put in day or it downgrade to the previous version because this version of testers contains all the features of the real version of the OS and I don't know how we downgrade or update the real new version of OS update. I read online how to go through link to Blackberry, but whenever I connect my phone to my computer it does not show me reload the software. What should I do?

  My advice is to reload the original operating system as released by your carrier. At least so, then assess the situation.   Insofar as the upgrade, this is usually controlled by the carrier. There are exceptions, such as devices without brand sold by the store BlackBerry or Amazon.   Unless your device is one of the exceptions, and you know that your operator has released an update, contact your provider's customer service.

  With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should translate a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'recording' message

  2) restart

  • Pre-BB10 ONLY devices. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
  • Peripheral BB10. Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process. IF this fails, you can try the method of battery-pull above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

  Hello everyone, my Z10 STL100-4 couldnot combined able to get 100% load. It remains at 97%. I tried to load in light them up and trun off modes, but could not able to get 100% load. Earlier, it shows full charge, but today, I noticed the point mentioned above. Where as virtual expert blackberry (BBVE) battery is displayed as healthy. Please guide me what to do aur how to solve this problem.

  1. the percentage loaded see you ON the device is ONLY an estimate based on the software reading fees history, drainage, electricity, etc. and is NOT an exact thing. The software on the device believes THAT the accusation. You will very probably BE 100%.

  2. to reset the counter of software on the device, normally it works... let your device to charge connected to the charger OEM wallout. After an hour or longer, and STILL CONNECTED to the charger, remove the battery a minute then reinsert it to restart. You may need to do this once or three over the next few days.

  Hello. I can't send sms messages on my Z10. I can receive it but when I want to send sms I can't always do, but it is sometimes possible and only to someone. I have manually set the advanced settings for sms, I registered my device in settings/topic/network... and I have the brand new SIM card from my ISP (Orange Slovakia). This problem started a few weeks after the official update and tried factory reset, go down to spread, upgrade to the latest leak, back to the official version which I use now (10.3.1.1779 OS 10.3.1.2576 radio 10.3.1.2577) before the update official everything was ok, but now I can send mms only and I don't know why. Please help me. I'm the only person who has this problem?

  It is resolved! I found out that it happened thank you sync. My Hotmail account was incorect numbers for example 4219... instead of + 4219... What is a prefix for the Slovakia + 421, so I was using incorrect numbers on my device. But thank you for your advice.

  I swiped my phone security three times in the last 2 days to resolve a problem with texting. I've updated my software via wifi and not link to Blackberry. He has worked to solve the problem, but then the first two times the problem reappeared after restoring a backup. The last time that I restored it manually all I could but lost password and apps which I am fine with. I hesitate to use Blackberry link again as the last update I did the link seems to trigger this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions?   I recommend that the updates made on the wifi. Don't do not updated the link unless there was a problem with udpate wifi.

  Your carrier will send specific carriers updates which can solve problems like this after an update.

  I have a Q10 I'm synchronization by binding, mostly just to test it. I had no problems with it.

  Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must be directly connected to a charger checked (not PC USB, not a docking station):

  1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
  2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
  3. Remove the battery
  4. Wait 15 minutes
  5. Insert the battery
  6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

  This has been known to "revive" some BBs. If it fails, please try again but increase the waiting time at step 4 to 2 hours and perhaps longer than 4-5 hours.

  It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

  1. Get a known good and already fully charged battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
  2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

  The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem. Carefully note please that 'new' and 'know' are not necessarily the same things. Although rare, a 'new' battery could certainly be defective. On the contrary, the easiest (and cheapest, btw) method to perform this test is to find someone with an identical BB which has no problem... trade in batteries and see what happens.

  I'm sure that this topic is here somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. (Please direct me there, if so)

  So, it doesn't seem to be consensus on who this works for and who is not as shown here:

  But here's my question. I have an unlimited plan excluded on AT & T.  But I can not activate video calls through BBM surveys. It works fine on WiFi but not on the network. If I try, I get a message that reads "contact AT & T to activate. And, on the settings tab in BBM, the cursor "Allow calls from BBM on Mobile Networks" is grey.

  Thus, after contacting AT & T, they told me similar things to what is mentioned in the announcement of Crackberry - that I have a tiered plan or shared use Videotelephony.  My questions are the following:

  -is that someone here with an unlimited plan from AT & T be able to use video calls when not on WiFi?

  -does anyone know IF you use file manager or something sideloaded it you to get around the restriction?

  -are there someone who has an unlimited plan with AT & T AND has updated for Mac OS 10.2 with Knowyou or something, which is able to use the BBM video on the network? (EDIT: changed 10.3 to 10.2)

  Well, well, well. Just as I was trying to tell the idiots with AT & T technical support I talked with, before the problem was with them all along - not with my plan.

  So, if someone follows this and wants to update...

  Short version:

  If you have an unlimited plan AT & T LTE for your BlackBerry, you can ABSOLUTELY activate BBM video. I do now. If AT & T tech tells you different, they're wrong.

  I have an unlimited plan, my wife has a tiered data plan. Video BBM worked well on both our WiFi phones, his BBM video would work on network, but mine wouldn't.

  I started in my retail store, and the guy who usually helps me didn't know what I was doing wrong. So, we called technical support. AT & T first told me they didn't know why it wasn't, given to me to try different things, power off / on, without success.  So they sent me to the BlackBerry support.  After a few long conversations, which essentially ended with "Yes, this is not our problem, which is AT & T business."

  So, I called AT & T tech support again. They told me on the phone that I can't use this feature with unlimited and should be changed to a share of mobile or tiered data plan. I said, 'nope' and decided to cool it down and try again later.  So, then, I had an online chat with a representative of the AT & T technical support who told me the same thing. She said that the BBM video wouldn't work on unlimited and I needed to change. I told her firmly that I change my plan and my initial agreement for the unlimited understand not having the features are disabled. She told me that AT & T had the right to control their network, but that they wanted. (nice) So, I finished this cat.

  On a whim, I sent him, and he wrote, "Yes, uh not.» AT & T has not activated it for BlackBerry on unlimited plans. "She contacted back, then contacted his connection to AT & t. yesterday, I heard from someone at the Office AT & T President, whatever it is. Fast forward... your da! Suddenly, a technical support could enable this feature after all.

  I still have my unlimited plan and video BBM works simply great.

  Now, if only I could get AT & T for Mac OS 10.2 version...

  I use voice control on my BlackBerry Z10 to try and send a BBM message to my wife on his BlackBerry Curve 9320. I added him as a BBM contact. But the voice command tells me that his name is not a BBM Contact when I use it. So I'm not able to do.
  I used the voice command to send SMS text message and dial his number and his mail without problem. Is there a compatibility issue? Can I use BBM without voice command to send a message, but also to voice chat.

  The Z10 and the PC have the same email address and when someone sends me an email it appears on the PC and the BBRY.

  I talked to Suddenlink, they tell me it is eather a problem BBRY or AT & t. AT & T tells me that this is a problem Suddenlink and support BBRY let's just say that English is not their first language.

  This is not a fault BLackberry, when you send an email to the same address, the e-mail appears in the sent and Inbox on the Z10, it also gets sent to the computer.
