Charger ADF 8620 Officejet

When I fed my paper through the feeder, a line appears in the middle of the page. How can I fix it?  I just bought the printer 3 months ago...

There could be a dirt/dust spot on the ADF scanner glass. Give him a cleaning with a non fluffy cloth, it's the small pane on the left side.

    Hello

I have a brand new 8620 Officejet Pro and use OS X v10.9 & use a laptop wireless and desktop via USB.

On both final set-up print without any problem at all but when I try to copy, scan or something by fax printers touch screen comes up with "Scanner failure - cannot copy, scan, or use the fax". As a result, if I open the HP utility it says "device status: scan unknown error".

    Welcome to the @Stratford_HP forums

I read about how your new Officejet 8620 shows you a failure "Scanner", leaving you unable to copy, fax and scan. I'm here to offer my suggestion and comments for this question.

Try the steps in this guide for failures to scan first, and if the problem is still apparent, I suggest to call HP to inquire about a replacement printer.

A "Failure of the Scanner" Message appears on the all-in-one control panel and you can not scan, copy, or fax

  • HP OfficeJet Pro 8620: RDP 8620 Officejet prints strange lines

I tried to find an answer to this for almost a month.

We have a HP Officejet Pro 8620 and we want to be able to print from a remote computer to ours. The printer is shared.  We'll call the local computer pc1 and the computer remote pc2. PC1 remotes in pc2 using a standard Windows 7 Remote Desktop connection. PC1 sharing their printer with pc2 by redirect. the sharing of each resource to which is connected to it. PC1 is trying to print, and then waits. The printer that is connected to the pc1 via USB cable gives us a message that looks like this of course is not what we want when we try to print an Excel worksheet. No, this is not the complete document. This is the first 1/3 or the page and the rest is completely white. It almost looks like a code any. I installed the drivers on ppc1 both pc2. I tried the drivers universal instaslling. I was told that get this work 4 years ago was very easy, but I could not crack. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Problem has been resolved by the default driver. Has not reappeared since we have updated for the generic driver for 8600. Had to install the driver on the two machines.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8620: Officejet 8620 page count

    Hello

I'm tryingto check if this machine has a counter of total pages, so that I can control my use? Please let me know how to find out.

    Thank you very much

    Jerry

    Jerry Hey,

There is no such an option, which can only be tracked manually.

If the printer is connected via network you can collect this information from the homepage of the printer without printing a report.

The HP Officejet Pro 8620 software click the printer (EWS) homepage and open the Tools tab, the Total number of pages is listed on this page. any follow-up however will have to be done manually.

  • OfficeJet 8620: OfficeJet HP 8620-"Web Services has been disabled!"

About 6 months ago I bought an OfficeJet 8620.  It worked fine for 6 months.

It is connected via WiFi using a DHCP address, and the network as the scanning options to the network folder and Web admin are working very well.

I can access the printer Windows 10 PC, iPad Pro and 27 "iMac with OSX 10.

I decided I want to enroll in the program HP ink instant - so I tried to enable it.  Through the web administration page, I discovered that 'Services Web has been disabled!   Please contact your administrator or the person who set up the printer.

Any attempt to install or activate the web services (either through the admin web or printer) translates the same error.

I have reset the printer to factory defaults and the error is the same.

I'm completely unable to implement web services.

I don't know what should be the next step.

Welcome to the Forums of HP and thank you for your efforts so far @Hexland, I accept the challenge of helping you get this to work.

From your description of the issue, and what you've already tried, I think it would be best to reset the most complete.

There are a growing number of messages in this forum and elsewhere in the internet with the steps to do a reset on different printers.  Reset to will sometimes fix problems, so resetting is not the issue.

A few resets require you to enter key combinations to open special menus on your printer that you were supposed to never access.  These special menus are used by developers and staff support for debugging of problems, but they are not intended for inexperienced users and can have unexpected results.  A wrong button push and you might no longer have a printer, but rather an expensive paper weight.  On top of that, if you happen to the 'brick' the printer in this way, it is considered as customer induced damage and voids the warranty automatically. These resets are only intended to be distributed and used as a last resort and under the direct instruction of a representative of the HP technical support. They should not be made lightly!

  • All-in-one Officejet Pro 8620: officejet pro 8620 all-in-One scan negative

How to scan negatives and 35mm on a HP Officejet Pro 8620?  I recently read it is possible on older versions, but can not find all the information about the printer I have.  Please answer quickly because it's something I have to do for my business.

    Hello

Negative scanning requires a special film holder (as in This example), indeed such was offered by older models and not in the past years.

The 8620 do not offer this kind of functionality, as well as any current inkjet all-in-one device and you can't scan negatives with your printer.

Only proffesional scanners offer a these these days, not all in one of the devices.

Here's the only model I have managed to find to your purchase today, there could be some more and it's worth trying a such google searh:

  • OfficeJet Pro 8620: Officejet 8620 Webscan Pro via the power supply produces corrupt PDF. Yes, I'm serious...

    The environment:

Network connected HP Officejet Pro 8620 all-in-one.

Workstation running Windows Pro 64-bit 10.

Internet Explorer browser, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC as default PDF reader.

Full functionality of the HP printing software is NOT installed.

Using the feature of webscan and the automatic document feeder, I scan the document with the default settings for a PDF file (although I have experienced with other parameters).  The scan works very well, and the new page opens with the displayed document.  If I scroll the document by using the wheel on my mouse to halfway through the volute, a window pops up saying "Year Internal Error Occurred" after what I have to hit OK.  I can save the document in PDF format, and as long as I open it with Acrobat Reader DC, it will show.  If I try to open it with another drive (for example Microsoft Edge, I get a blank page).  I tried to create a new PDF by printing it in Acrobat Reader to a PDF generator (generator PDF PrimoPDF and Microsoft), but in both cases, it says "the file could not be printed" and "no pages selected to print.

The scenario above also happens if I scan a multi-page document.  HOWEVER, if I scan a single page document with the original on the glass, the scenario above does NOT.  It creates a perfectly usable PDF.

So... to eliminate Adobe and or IE as the culprits, I put the PDF reader by default Microsoft Edge and launched the webscan using Microsoft Edge also.  When I scanned it using the automatic document feeder, it fed the document, acted like he was treating it, and the result was a WHITE page.

The printer firmware is up to date.  I tried the old turn it off, unplug the unit, wait a while and turn it on again the solution, but that made no difference.

I searched the forums and see reports that correspond to what I see.  Overview of all what could happen here would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hi @exfordguy

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.

In General, the WebScan function is intended for diagnostic purposes and is not quite as functional as the software. If you choose not to install the full feature software and driver, you can use Windows Fax and Scan.

If the printer has Web Services enabled, you can also go into the applications menu and use the scan to e-mail.

Honestly, I see no reason why you are scanning via WebScan when there are better options available.

  • Printer Officejet Pro 8620: officejet pro 8620 failure of the wireless card

E-all-in-one printer Officejet Pro 8620 was strange for the past few weeks - the blue light would remain solid but nothing prints not the touch screen would not respond and it would be not closed when the power button was pressed.  Now, it has gotten worse - he sees not the wireless network (other devices work well) and prints a blank page to print the report.  I ran the printing and scanning Dr, but he did that tell me that the printer cannot detect the network.  I tried to reset to the default factory settings wireless, but it still does not detect the network.  I think that the wireless card is not (it is exactly one year and two weeks since I bought it).

Is there a way to confirm my suspicions?  Is there anything else that might be causing these problems?  If so, how to replace the wireless card?  I worked with electronic equipment for years and I'm very comfortable, replacement of parts and components of computer devices.

I did the factory reset and went through the installation procedure as directed.  The printer still can't find wireless network and print report still produces just a white sheet.

  • HP OfficeJet Pro 8620: OfficeJet Pro locked 8620

He was always hit or miss if my printer (especially scanning capabilities) will work on any given day. Today, I tried messing around with all sorts of things that he can work and seem to have only made worse.

Now I'm completely locked out of making changes. When I try to access the network configuration I get the message: "integrated network of capacities have been disabled. Contact your administrator or the person who set up the printer. I set up the printer and have no idea what to do.

I tried to restore the default values, but received a similar message. "The service has been locked by your administrator.

I uninstalled the drivers and when trying to re - install is simply not connected to the printer.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hey @IslandPlanet,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see you have a few problems with your Officejet scanning 8620 and you found a mistake that network capacity have been disabled by your network administrator. I can help you with these questions.

First of all, we need to remove the error on the printer. I will send you a private message with details describing how to solve this problem. You should see a private message me in your Inbox shortly.

Once you have initialized your printer again we will have to determine what is causing the problem you are experiencing. The next time that you can't print or scan, we will do the following:

    1. On the printer, click on the wireless icon that looks like a radio tower.
    2. Click on the gear icon.
    3. Scroll down to and then click on print the Wireless Test status.

A page should print with a few lines that say Pass or fail in the end let me know if something breaks down and what the Signal strength is listed as. Once I know what I'll be better able to help you.

  • OfficeJt Pro 8620: OfficeJet pro 8620 does not print

My new 8620 habit simply printed.

Scan and these images successfully appears on the laptop.  Wireless connection is strong and recognized.  can print from 2 different iPhones, but nothing of the laptop.

Print Manager and HP Web site so tell me the printer is online and ready, and is the default printer recognized and there is no problem with the printer.

Same printing page Web HP EWS but nothing else of the laptop may print

Running HP Print & Scan Dr. (about 4 times) and the test page does not print, but I can print the internal test page.  Then say it is a software problem and uninstall.

Have uninstalled and reinstalled twice, completely deleted printer off, unplugged, ALL but nothing doesn't make this stupid boring piece of manure impression

Not sure whether I'm under Windows 10 32 or 64 bits.  Remember exactly where to find this info.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8620: Officejet Pro 8620 Ethernet recognition

I have a new Pro of Officejet 8620.  I plugged our Ethernet, but the printer continues to say that it is in offline mode.  I checked with several different cables.  When the printer initializes, the ethernet connection lights light up, but then turns off.  I tried to manually enter the IP address, subnet, default gateway, and PNS mask, but it does not change.  When I print the network configuration, it is returned to the automatic configuration and continues to say that it is in offline mode.  Is there a problem with the printer?  I was able to connect other printers on the ethernet port, just not this one.  Thanks for your help!

SOLVED!  Thanks for your help.  After talking with HP, it was determined that the printer was defective.  I exchanged it and the new hooked immediately!
