  "User" is defined as follows:

  -a sent or received traffic via the PIX in the last xlate timeout seconds (five minutes with 501 default config).

  -has a TCP or UDP connection

  -a a NAT session

  -a a session to authenticate user

  It is certainly not the number of connections, but basically, the number of unique IP addresses internal that have any number of connections through the PIX. The 501 will support up to approximately 26000 connections, but only 10 internal IP addresses could use those.

  Note: when you add licenses a reboot is required. Even if the number of supported the HA increases on reset controller is always necessary for these devices to register on the controller under the permanent license.   You can install ISE on a HP ONLY Server if you are using software virtualization (VMware or KVM).

  The Guide of Installation of ISE sets out three options:

  1 hardware appliance from cisco SNS

  2. virtual machine VMware

  3 Linux KVM.

  The AnyConnect license is required to qualify with the features of the Apex. It is not installed on the ISE server, however.

  So, we currently have a pair of failover ASA 5515 - X running at one of our sites. This serves as a VPN gateway for our users. I am migrating users from the old Cisco VPN client to the newest Cisco Anyconnect client. I have work and installing anyconnect. Meanwhile, I discovered that process to take care of TLS 1.1 and using the Anyconnect client, you must use the most recent 4.0 Anyconnect client. To use this client, you must have something license called a "Anyconnect more" I think it was a recent change of return in 2014. We currently have the Anyconnect Essentials license installed on the ASA pair. I discovered that not only it a license upgrade available for upgrade Anyconnect positive of the battery, but the Anyconnect Plus license is subscription now. Boo Cisco. But that's another debate.

  I went ahead and reluctantly bought the upgrade license to upgrade Anyconnect positive of the battery. I am trying to understand however the affects of the installation of this license with respect to the current VPN functionality. Currently, we offer the following VPN options for our users:

  RA IPSEC (IKE v1via former customer)

  RA IPSEC (L2TP via the Windows client)

  SSL (Anyconnect 3.0)

  We also use tunneling IPSEC of P2P (IKEv1 PSK) between two sites to serve as a link of relief when our primary site-to-site link fails.

  If anyone knows what would be the effect on the current VPN functionality when installing my upgrade license? He turns off the older IPSEC IKEv1 feature? As I said I want to migrate to the newer platform users but still have need of the oldest customer work until this can be done. I have this in my current setup:

  What happens on this command when I apply the new license?

  Addition of the new activation key and the client configuration somehow 4.x will not affect the IKEv1, L2TP or VPN SSL. "AnyConnect essentials" rest a command active and valid

  It will give the ability to activate the advanced security features that require the 4.x client.

  On the load of Cisco Unified MeetingPlace License Keys

  You can add or upgrade license keys for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace functionality in your system, individually or all at the same time. You add or update the license through MeetingTime keys.

  For the license keys that you can add or upgrade files are available when you buy a new system, Cisco Unified MeetingPlace or upgrading to version 5.3. These files are loaded into your Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 8106 or 8112 when it was purchased.

  If you buy new license keys, Cisco sent to you as an attachment. Save the attachment on your local computer's drive. Place where you can navigate to it easily in MeetingTime.

  Loading of all license keys

  Step 1 tablet in the MeetingTime system, select the action of the system of Import Options.

  Step 2 for an Action attribute, click the values box. Choose Import to the system system options, and then click OK.

  Step 1 locate the key option on the license document.

  Step 2 in the MeetingTime configure tab, select the System Options display.

  Step 3 click query, then click on the < or=""> button to locate the license key, you want to add or upgrade.

  Step 4 attribute to the number of licenses, click the values box. Enter the number of licenses for your system, and then click OK.

  The number of licenses must match the number that corresponds to your Cisco Unified MeetingPlace option key.

  Step 5 attribute for the button Option, enter the number of the option key.

  Step 6 click on save changes.

  Step 7 to load additional licenses, repeat steps 3 to 6.

  Step 8 reboot the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 8106 or server 8112.

  De-registered node will always use its own license, that is, it becomes autonomous box without knowledge or information about anything around her. Assessment or any license you provided with.

  I want to just increase the number of users Anyconnect. Just buy the (ASA5500-SSL-10) license or Anyconnect Essentials.

  In other words, the current license does not support more than 2 users if I buy ASA5500-SSL-10?

  How can I purchase a license and how do I install it in the asa?

  OK, you can buy the option 1 or 2, but option 2, you just need the AnyConnect Premium license as ASA5500-SSL-10 is the AnyConnect Premium license.

  ASA5520, it supports 750 concurrent users with license key AnyConnect.

  Essential AnyConnect is cheaper than the AnyConnect Premium license, however, I don't know how much it costs.

• Pix 501 license limits and how to say

  I sent a PIX-501-BUN-K9, which is limited to 10 users. I recently sent another PC. I can't browse the internet unless I reboot the pix. Is this an indication that I need to update the license?

  What commands can I run on the pix to check or validate that I reached the limit license?

  or

  SH - activation key

  This will display your license that is installed on your PIX. Next to "To inside hosts", you will see how many user licenses are available. You can upgrade by purchasing a license from 10 to 50 users (PIX-501-SW-10-50 =) for about $240, or 10 to unlimited (PIX-501-SW-10-UL =) for about $370.

  To find out how many are currently in use, you can enter "sho xlate count" which will set out how current translations are used.

• GuestEndpoints ISE Cisco and licensing

  Small question. If a device is placed in the Group GuestEndpoint automatically through the Hotspot portal in 2.0 of ISE. If we do strategies based on group identity GuestEndpoint should I use a license?

  I know this license is used if we pass through the registration of the unit, but do not know if this is true, if it is done automatically by the Hotspot or GuestPortal.

  I have a client with a Production ISE implementation which is fully licensed with the hardware appliances.

  Virtual machine 'licence' is a license to honor based, it is never installed anywhere. Licenses like Basic, plus and apex are shared from node primary admin.

• Cisco Telepresence Server/Cisco Telepresence driver/Cisco VCS - C / Cisco TMS license

  A big problem with the fact that I'm stuck is licensing. Really, I have tried many things to find the solution for it, but could not.

  I have actually made all of these servers (mentioned in the title) in my lab in preparation for the CCNP Collaboration certification at home.

  I am not able to complete some laboratories due to license issue (I guess). Y at - it an option to get the demo license for all these servers?

  I would be really greatfull if someone can suggest me the solution and/or the licenses required to complete all the stuff for my CCNP Collab tag.

  TMS and VCS - C when installed without licenses, are automatically set mode of demonstration/test with some availability of license to test with. If needing a VCS-E, you will need to do to your account manager and they should be able to get you the time limited licenses good because I think that 90 days.

  Conductor Essentials is free, which means that you can install and get full functionality without the need of all licenses, but you are limited to 1 conference bridge and no grouping is allowed.

  TelePresence Server require licenses to function, once again, reaching out to your account manager for this.

  At the end of the day, you should reach to your account manager for all of this, as they should be able to help get timed license if you need.

  We have THAT SX 20 recorded in CUCM endpoint. When Dial us the SX 20 its composition keep meeting & not connecting or not answered by telepresnce.

  I just noticed that there is that no license screen is installed in the server TP.

  Is it compulsory for allowing screen to make Conference calls?
