  I get a 'Fixer' error when I print on my printer Laserjet CP1025nw.  I have powerd extinguish by instructions and left HP it goes off and unplugged during the minutes 25 + recommended, but nothing works.  There is a triangle with one! the control panel and I'm sure that has to go.

  I found the solution on another forum HP.  The guy said to replace the black toner cartridge and it worked!  He said that it had removed all the toner cartridges and put them back in, but no luck.  Changing the black cartridge has worked for me and him!  My printer is less than a year and I have probably put 2 reams of paper through it, so I'm happy that it worked!

  My CP1025nw is on my wired network Ethernet. My new desktop to Winows 10 PC finds it and it installs, watch even correct for this IP address in the info page of HP. But it will not print to it. Says it is Offline, tells me to turn it on. But if it is not enabled, how my PC find it and get his IP address? I can even ping by using Windows PowerShell.

  My other PC on the network print to it. This PC also running Windows 10, as an update to 8.1

  I tried to remove and re-add several times. Have rebooted several times, turned the printer on and off many times.

  BTW, I do not use the direct wireless functionality for this printer. It's all pure Ethernet/TCP-IP, Wired.

  It looks like a bug in the driver. How can I get a driver that works well, like my other 10 PC of Windows? I use all the HP tools that I can find. They say that there is no update pending for this driver.

• Color LaserJet CP1025nw: printer does not print after changing cartridges

  I just inserted cartridges M, Y and C in my printer.  They are official cartridges 126 a.  I followed all the instructions (shook gently, removed the orange protective cover and pulled the Ribbon out).  I inserted one at a time, waiting after each insertion for the printer to run through its cycle.  Then I tried to print a color print job with no luck.  Then I tried to print a simple typed page - once again, no luck!

  Is it possible to print a test page?  I don't get any messages on my computer.  When I look at the print queue, it says "error printing".  Help, please!  Thank you.

  Note later: my mistake!  I turn on the blue light from the top; Once lit, the printer has been good to go.  Can tell you that I'm not very technologically savvy?

  You must turn off wireless directly into the printer and it's own SSID won't be visible. Then just use your routers SSID and password for connect and be sure.

  Hello! I hope someone can help with a preview on a printer problem, I have.

  Here goes...

  It of almost 1 year out of the box and has stopped working. When I turn it on, the amber attention LED flashes and stays on. The Green led also lights up. When I try to print a Setup page a window pops up saying: "Unable to establish two-way communication with the device." It is plugged in and that the power cords and usb are intact.

  There is no jam that I can see. I can't turn the cartridges to see if there is anything wrong or to replace them, even if that was the case.

  I feel like it happened after I installed the update of the firmware.

  I'm on mac os 10.5.8

  What I tried:

  • Shooting printer / disconnecting operations 'x' down for 30 seconds before turning back on

  • Uninstall and then reinstall the driver from the floppy disk supplied in the package

  • Uninstall and then reinstall the latest drivers downloaded from HP

  • Reset the system preferences print system

  Sorry, had the wrong impression that you use a connection network caused the question sympthoms.

  Please make sure that the printer, USB is directly connected to your Mac and no more than 2 - 3 m long without using a USB hub or extension. It can cause serious communication problems. Please also plug the USB key into a different USB port on your Mac.

  If you have an iMac, also be sure to plug the USB key into a port on the back of the printer and not on the keyboard (like the keyboard ports are not powered and actually provide the same power as the use of a hub)

  On the Mac, click the Apple menu.

  While holding the ALT key, click System Profiler from the menu.

  In the left pane, click USB

  You see the printer listed in the right pane?

  If the printer is not listed under USB, this means that the unable to communicate with him without any problem of Mac software, so I would recomment USB cable it to try another.

  Rrolley, looks like you have a problem with the print queue of the printer. To start, just to tell you (that you probably think) it is not good to switch off while he's getting a print request.   I have recently upgraded to windows 7 to 10 on a single computer, purchased another and the 3rd was Windows 10 all year that we had.  I have a LaserJet CP1025nw which worked fine until the last few weeks.  The new computer, it is not recognized to install, one that was just upgraded, it is still listed, but it's not working and the laptop which was windows 10, it is printed in the last month, now, without modification, only an update of windows, the printer disappeared and will not re - install.  Attach the USB cord is not working and I checked on the HP site, for more than 5 hours looking for a solution, and even if it is supposed to be updated drivers to download, when I download them, the file for the 1025 installs the drivers for the 1020.  Nothing works and I'm at my wits end.  The printer is not that old, and I have several refills that I would use because I do not use the printer much at all.  Tips for good drivers would be very much appreciated.

  I have a new colourlaser LaserJet CP1025nw. problem is much too dark impression and that's why the cartridges run out too fast, especially the black one. I try to color changes in the settings of the driver, but these changes isn't any effection. I have iMac with OS of Yosemite.

  It seems to work now. Settings of the printer seems to work when the printer is connected with the USB cable for iMac better.

  I would recommend some of the things

  First of all, make sure that your firmware is up-to-date, go to the page software and drivers on HP.com download and install the latest firmware available for the printer.

  Then, make sure that the toner collection unit is not complete

  Finally, print a cleaning of the control panel of the printer page, normally, you should select the following text in the menu:

  • Maintenance of the unit
  • Calibration / cleaning
  • Cleaning page
