Damaged printhead error!

Replaced the black print cardtridge and now I get a damaged print head error.  No previous problems or errors with the OfficeJet 6500 Wireless printer.  Any ideas other than the replacement of the print head?

In this case, one of the last steps to try is to reset the printer to factory settings. Sometimes, this will get an error to clear as a mistake are false errors.

Before you perform a reset, read over the Bob_Headrick of printer resets.  The thread can be found here.

Reset partial:

* Unplug the printer while it is turned on

* Wait 30 seconds

* Press and hold the # and 3 buttons on the printer and plugging the unit back in

* Release the buttons after the unit starts to turn on

I would like to know if it is able to clear the message.

My Pro Officjet 6835 all in one shows a printhead error.  I installed new ink cartridges about 2 weeks ago, and it printed fine since then.  I tried troubleshooting.  When I try to "Clean printhead" computer, it simply says "printer is busy".  When I try to clean the printer configuration menu, it shows that it is cleaning for about a half second and then returns to the maintenance printer screen.  On one attempt, it seems to work, but after 3 hours, no there was no change or action.  I have reset the printer (unplug the unit for more than 60 seconds - of the printer and the power outlet), off several times and contracted cartridges to attempt to clean the print head.  It doesn't seem to be removable, so I'm stuck.  I'm currently under Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.3.  I really need to be able to print several documents as soon as possible.  Help?

  • OfficeJet Pro 6830: Alignment of printhead error.

Hello. I have the above printer. I get the message print head alignment error. I have unplugged and restarted, he could usually get another page or two either printed or copied, and now I can't get anything to print. It gives me just the error message from the print head alignment. I've been very busy and it worked when I did this as mentioned above. Since it stop working completely, I checked in to see that the warranty has expired on 01/06/16. It must be a problem on this particular printer, as evidenced by what I read online. I wonder what I can do? HP Will stand behind this printer, since it has this problem, even if it's beyond the warranty period of 23 days?

  • Damages and errors: need to recover Windows 7 on dv6-3231nr

Hello people! Hoping I can get some tips for fixing this laptop - it is a mess!

I have a laptop dv6-3231nr out of warranty and has a damaged screen. Has been trampled or abandoned. Damage at the bottom left of the screen. I can do some things on the screen when it is running.

Unforunately it will not display the video on an external monitor using the VGA connection. I also tried the HDMI to view video on my TV and the TV displays the data of 'recovery' as it new, something has been connected, but he could not show the video using this connection as well.

Laptop starts at the BIOS and the test in BIOS hard drive error checking was able to finish even if I couldn't see what options and errors I had (all I could do was what he finished). Windows does not load and I get a blue screen error message with an error code that I can't completely make out because of damage to the screen and restarting the laptop just after error appears.

I don't have the original Windows HP recovery disk. I know I could probably order from HP, but I did not how much they cost. I couldn't find a link to order.

So, what do you think? The laptop likely there internal damage to the motherboard that prevents it from display external video via VGA/HDMI connections or would that be a software problem that would be fixed if I had to recover the operating system? In addition, how the HP Recovery/Windows 7 disc would cost me?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You can order your software/driver page HERE recovery media they are usually around $17.

You can also try the hard drive partition recovery tapping away to the F11 key, immediately after switching on. Not sure if you could get through the options here with visibility of the small screen.

You can also try the trick HERE by DavidPK burn a dvd of Windows 7. Yet once not sure how well would mean you through a facility complete with retail disk and damaged screen.

  • HP Officejet 7610 - damaged cartridge Error Message

I have a new HP Officejet 7610 - less than 2 months old. It has been working fine until today when the magenta cartridge supplied with the printer is empty.  The printer told me to replace, that I did with a new HP ink cartridge. As he tried to reset, accepted the cartridge, it gave me an error message:

"One or more cartridges appear to be damaged." and poster cyan and yellow. The two who are aged less than 2 weeks and new HP cartridges themselves.

So, I replaced both cartridges with two new HP ink cartridges. I keep getting the same message.

    How can I fix it?

  • On new install printhead error message

Have just been (?) successfully installed new PhotoSmart Premium C309g on my Mac OSX.5.

"I get a message: the installed print head is not intended for use in this product, or it may be damaged"- and on the printer, the message is ' "lack of print head: lift the latch, discount print head". I just used the new cartridges that were in the cab of the printer!

    Can someone advise please?

    Thank you

The print head is the device where sit the ink cartridges.  It may be incorrectly installed.

Remove the ink cartridges (carefully, you can get ink on yourself).  Now using the system of grey lock on the right side of the cart, remove and re - install the print head.  Shake a little before lowering the lock wall.

Now, re - install the ink cartridges.

  • HP B110 printhead error

    Hello

2 years ago, I bought a HP photosmart B110 printer.

And now, it gives an error of prinhead. (print head defects stuff)

I cleaned the head many times. It does not solve the problem.

Restart the printer, 30 seconds without power,... nothing works.

I'm from Belgium. I looked at the hp store... 51,70 euros for the print head...  Of course I won't buy that.

And Yes, we have only used hp real inkt.

We are a small family. We use the printer for small tasks. And it's already broken after 2 years? !!!

    not happy. Very disappointed...

I bought a printer second hand B110, removed the print head and that place in my printer.

Which fixed the problem for 15 euros.

We can now use the stock of ink of our 100 euro.

  • Dell 922 AIO printer - printhead error

My printer has just started showing a message "print head error".  I followed the steps of power down, then remove and reinsert the cartridges, but nothing worked.  Any suggestions?

    NovaScott

    NovaScott,

    Have you tried this...

Unplug the printer from the wall. Now remove the powerbrick for 60 seconds. This will reset the error message that gets the printer. Everything back in and power the printer on.

Open the printer and remove the black Dell series 5 ink cartridge and make sure that the tape is the cartridge, and then reinstall the cartridge back in. Now do the same for the Dell series 5 color cartridge. Now, when you close the printer, it should display an alignment page. Error messages?

Dell series 5 ink cartridges have a sensor in them and cannot be reused. Article on Dell ink cartridges filling

They can be purchased at Staples, Wal-Mart or any Dell website.

Print Cartridge black = Black (left) cartridge = color (right side)

Photo cartridge = cartridge black (left side) = color (right side)

It is also possible to get a new cartridge with a bad sensor. Please consider the place of purchase for a replacement.

  • Photosmart c309n printhead error, how to fix?

I cleaned the print head by following the instructions.  I was amazed by the amoi = unt of ink that was accumulated.  However, it did not work.

Are there any other suggestions for cleaning.

HP cannot find my serial number and the product ID number drop-down list.

I can't find how much a replacement printhead.

The HP website is all the worse that I met.

This document has different numbers of parts for your printer.

It seems that the part number for the print head is CN642A.

The part store should allow you to order parts.  Sure just the right country or a region is selected.  If the site is default to one country other than your own, you can change this by clicking on the country at the top right of the page.

I did a check, and it was $35,93 before taxes and shipment to the United States.  Price will vary from one country to the other.

  • Printhead HP 6500, missing error message

I bought a 6500 all in one printer a year ago in March. The printer has not been used much, a few pages a day. Several months ago the printer started to display the error message "Missing Printhead' and wouldn't work at all." I followed the instructions to remove and clean the cartridges and print heads. Still have the same error message. Talked to HP support a couple of times, without success, it is. Apparently. the printhead of 6500 is not something supported, I was told that HP is not in stock this point and so I can't replace it. The proposed solution was to "buy a new printer. At best, I find that this is an unacceptable solution. If someone has solved this problem or is my 6500 relegated to the trash with HP printer support image of?

After the replacement of a set of ink cartridges, I got two errors - error the printhead and the ink system failure error. So what I've done for my 6500 wireless when I received the error "print head seems to be missing or corrupt"

I removed my ink cartridges, then I removed the print head itself. It was very dirty. I went to wash the whole in the sink. Then I put it in front of my hair dryer for about 20 minutes, allowing the air to dry completely.

In the meantime, I looked inside the printer housing and saw on the right side (where the print head and print cartridges reside) sink much ink seems to have been a leak or possibly be thrown everywhere during the printers cleaning print head adjustment or everything what he continues to do all the time when nobody is there.

Ink has been around in there. I removed the small sponge and took tips and paper towels and just kept wiping everything in there.

20 minutes later, I placed the print head and cartridges back inside. Bugger, I always received the printhead error message... don't leave yet, there is more to my story... I then take a look at electronic ribbon cables all seemed to be free of any tears or cuts. But I decided to try it on the print head and the cable against the back to slide a thin stalk behind them tear their to the printer just a bit so that they would make a better contact. The side which is sticky I wasn't behind the sticky in this procedure, just at the edge of the top and SDÉS I could. You may damage the ribbon cable if try to do more than just a little bit of pressure.

Once I turned the printer back on, it gave me an error that I had forgotten to put in the ink cartridges.

I then unplugged the printer, replaced the cartridges and then plugged in and the printer is powered on.

WAIT he went through a process of preparation, then an alignment process and 10 minutes later there was no error Printhead and ink system error more. It has been proerly of work for a few days and I think it's fixed!

I hope this helps someone, anyone, as I know I paid a bit for my 6500, and was very disappointed when mistakes happened because I don't use a lot of the printer and I've always kept what it takes. I was just happy to make it work again.

One thing that I hate this all-in-one printer is the fact that if you get errors of impression that the stupid thing will not even let all other functions work. No analysis, no sending of faxes. It was very agrvating!
