The laptop is equipped with led however one is damaged and can not be connected, these cards may work with only one side and I even read somewhere that they can work on a short range with no led. My problem is the Device Manager indicates that the device cannot start code 10. I have a fresh install of XP Pro SP1 (not from the original restore disk). With this in mind, I think there must be some Toshiba utility or the missing driver to allow the map to work. Any help appreciated.

  The suspect first IMO is win10. You are a brave man to make an update based on win10. Try to do this on a computer with 7 or 8.

  Some on this forum may say they made a correct update of the firmware with 10 victory.

  However, to win 10 is known to his problems with the drivers and the software which is not original ms or not correctly connected.
