I already tried the scann doctor:

http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-OfficeJet-Pro-8610-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5367603/model/...

but no luck. Scan Doctor it can print the test page,

but when I tried to Printe test page:

tried to print from outlook:

I tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling using two administrators or standard users do not have the chance.

Help, please.

Hi @hehe001,

Thanks for joining the HP Forums, I see that you have worked with the great Bob_Headrick. I know that Bob knows his stuff, so I don't know if my contribution will be useful but that's nothin' '.

At first I thought maybe it was the program, but after some research, I feel, the question may be the driver himself. Please try to use the 8600 as another pilot.

How to assign other print in different Versions of Windows drivers.

The link above will guide you through the steps to assign a different print driver, I ask that you choose the 8600 if available, and if not, you can install the base driver 8600 here;

OJ8600_Basicx64_1315.exe - for 64-bit operating systems

OJ8600_Basicx86_1315.exe - for 32-bit operating systems

Is my version of 32-bit Windows or 64-bit?

Please don't forget to let me know if that fixes the problem or not. Thank you.

The printer is connected to a cable modem, wireless. Is there a way to print through the Internet using the HP ePrint app?

    Thanks in advance

Well after I asked a few friends with iPhones and Android devices to print over the Internet using the application, I noticed that everyone could.

So, initially, I reset the printer to the factory setting and reconfigured it. It has resolved all the issues I've had both with built in the application to manage as well as my phone. Now I can normally use the HP ePrint app on the internet and printing.

As a side note, I downloaded an update of the firmware to the printer and most probably caused problems, but, as says the resolved all factory reset.

    Hello

I have a question about printing and adjust it.

I have an image that I want to print, and it is great.

I have 2 printers an epson and an officejet 8610.

When I print on my Epson printer, the image is shrunk and print everything on one page.

But each big image that I try to print on the 8610, it prints some parts of the image to other pages.

I'm no shrink to adjust option in the settings of the printer and my programs are already developed shrint to print.

So, how to activate or find the shrink to fit on the 8610 printer?

I have instant ink if I want to print on the 8610, but since it prints on several pages, it must continue to use my Epson currently.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I am able to send faxes but not receive them. I turned off in error correction, changed the fax speed to slow and auto answer enabled. None of this has worked.

I think the problem might be the way that the printer and fax are connected. I have a cable modem and the telephone line goes directly from the modem jack. My phone service is through Comcast cable, then nothing is plugged directly into the wall jack to the phone.

I have a phone on the same phone number, which is plugged into the upper Jack on the printer. The (phone) cord frrom the modem cable to the printer is plugged directly underneath.

  • OfficeJet 5740: Cannot print duplex automatically and can not connect wireless

So, I recently bought a new laptop for academic purposes. Back in September, I bought the HP Officejet 5740 because it could print wireless and can print double sided also.

Everything worked perfectly fine when I was using Windows 8. In microsoft office, that I could see the option to print double-sided and had no difficulty, printing or the connection to the wireless printer.

Then, I upgraded my computer to windows 10. I downloaded the hp driver and tried to add the printer several times and did not get it to connect successfully. Moreover, I see more two-sided printing option. I have the option to print one, or to manually return the documents to make it double sided.

I downloaded the driver installed the printer and uninstalled the printer a LOT, a LOT of time with nothing doesn't. Please help me. I really only print in powerpoint and word, so it is very important to have this ability.

For the connectivity problem, I would say the Print and Scan doctor, you can download it from HP to http://www.hp.com/go/tools.

For the duplex issue make sure the duplex module is selected.  Click on start, devices and printers, click with the right button on the Officejet 5740, select printer, device settings, both installable and set properties automatic duplexing on installed unit, apply, OK.

  • Cannot print using HP photosmart C3100 printer

    Original title - printer problems?

I have a HP photosmart C3100 printer. It has been giving me problems in the sense that whenever I turn it on it would be the test of the printer which is routine, each time you insert a new cartridge. I opted to leave it on and like that I do not lose excess ink. Now the red light indicating that you are in paper or a paper or door jam in the broken back remains open on and I cannot print. Any ideas other than buying a new printer?

Moved from feedback to windows where it belongs

    Hello

As OEM HP is responsible for the good operation of the printer and their
drivers provided. Check with HP support, their documentation online and
drivers and ask in their forums.

Good luck, you need to update or reinstall the latest driver.

I cannot print from windows 7 using HP Deskjet 842 C series.  Windows and HP said is compatible, it can only print from other applications and not Windows 7.  Any suggestions?

In fact - what HP means without out and say what they deem a legacy device (printer) and even if they included a universal driver (Microsoft put in Windows 7) and it should work without doing you anything else - it is perhaps not fully functional as it was in previous operating systems where they (HP) it supported.

HP in this case is the manufacturer of the equipment and in all related case material - the hardware manufacturer is responsible for the materiel support (drivers, software, etc.)

You can follow the advice of HP, if you want to:

But really what they're trying to say is, "your printer is old - buy a new one from us so that we can stay in business."
