  CHKDSK is essentially a tool of file system and the capacity of the disc that you see in the Explorer disc property is actually the size of the file system rather than the physical size of the volume, the physical size of the volume is based on the head of sector, while the size of the file system is based on the number of clusters (allocation units).  The file system has a total of clusters 60636159 x 4096 bytes = 248,365,707,264 bytes.

  Different size according to the different tools are both correct, but the file system is not using the entire partition, you need to extend the file system with the Diskpart tool.

  At a command prompt, enter the following commands:

  C:\ > DISKPART
  DISKPART > list Volume
  DISKPART > select volume c (here, you can use the figures given by the Volume of the order list or use the actual letter of the volume, in your case 'c')

  DISKPART > extend filesystem
  DISKPART > exit (exit Diskpart)

  I have a HP Deskjet 2540 printer all in one and I have constant problems with it!

  First of all if I send more than one page to the printer, it prints a page and half of the other. I then return the last page of the printer. I had this problem from the beginning with this printer. The amount of paper and ink that I lost because of this I am starts to think that it is a ploy used by HP to get as much money on ink cartridges as they can!

  Second, most of the time I send a document to print I get an error message saying that the printer is offline. However, the printer is online! I have to keep passing the printer then turn it on again.

  Really, I can't stand this printer and have only had about 3 months and it has never worked properly!

  We have worked on this problem with printing partial and missing.

  To resolve this problem, we have a workaround solution that should help you with people who are facing this problem.

  There are some steps to follow to make this workaround works.

  (1) set a fixed IP address on the wireless printer, this is to stop printing problems if Exchange wireless printers IP address.

  For help setting this up, see this document (it is a wireless connectivity generic document which covers setting up the fixed IP address on HP printers)

  I was wondering if someone could help me with my audio problems. I have a PSAGCC Satellite A300 - 06 h 019 current running Vista home premium 64 bit SO1, and I can't hang with my receiver. I have attached my computer to the receiver via the HDMI port, and only 2 channels (stereo) is available to be selected.

  I have the latest Realtek drivers, the radeon ATI drivers newer, but I can't select the surround speakers in the audio, stereo settings only. Is there some sort of registry patch or update or something that will allow me to select more than 2 channels of output through my HDMI? I have a very nice surround sound Setup and I want to maximize my value of entertainment.

  Also, when I go into the HDMI audio settings, there is a box to check, dolby digital and dts, when I test the dts and dolby digital, he spends in surround sound and plays test tones, but I can't get 5.1 or 7.1 speakers for watching movies.

  Dell is not offering Win7 drivers for this model. I suggest you go here and read some of the links on the upgrade to Windows 7. Run the Win 7 Upgrade Advisor first to see what it says on your system.

  Without knowing what equipment you have (for example, video card, sound card, network adapter, etc.), it is impossible for anyone to tell you exactly what drivers you need. In some cases, but not all cases, Vista 64-bit drivers can work. The Vista 64 drivers are here. (Confirms that he says again Vista 64-bit upstairs when you load the page!)   The best way to do it, is to use the screen, which is already divided into 3 sections, superior, medium and low, of which only half is scrolling.

  The top depends on what you add to setTitle (who may be a Manager), the background is determined by what you add using setStatus (even once, you can add a handler), and just use the normal add to add the scrolling of the Middle component.

  We have a Mac mini connected to a screen and a projector via HDMI using a HDMI splitter.

  It works fine for most applications, but during presentations PowerPoint, presenter is displayed on the monitor and the projector.

  When I disconnected the mini Mac's HDMI cable and put it in a MacBook, the presenter appeared on the MacBook screen (as it should) and only the slide appears on the screen and on the projection screen.
