  I have an IPAD 16 GB Wifi Silver Air and I have the following problem.

  Recently (maybe to do with the upgrade to 9.3.1 but I can't be sure) after playing with the IPAD for about 20-30 minutes the screen goes black while I hear that the ipad still works (IE play a video). The touchscreen is sensitive, but nothing appears. I can get it back if I press the button sleep on and outside and asks me to slide to unlock. If I let it cool then I can work for 20-30 minutes and I have the same behavior again.

  Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

  • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
  • Press and hold the Home button
  • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

  Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

  If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.
