  I received a trial Z30 - C - 10N Toshiba to test our image deployment with. We use SCCM via PXE boot to deploy our images but unfortunately the laptop cannot boot from PXE, even after trying different methods of boot (secure boot is disabled). After doing some research on Google, many people say that the CSM boot mode is necessary, but it is not available in the current BIOS on the Z30 - C.

  So I just wonder is there plans to release a BIOS update soon with added support boot CSM?

  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  I have a brand new 13 XPS, 9343 model with i7 processor and 512 GB SSD. I'm still within the period of 14 days, and I'm now seriously returning. I've never known such a load of nonsense trying to install any other piece of software.

  So far, and after many attempts, I was completely unable to upgrade to Windows 10. The first thing I did was to install all the Windows updates available for 8.1 (there were 79 of them), and immediately after that I started the saga to install Win10. Nothing else has been done to the laptop - no questionable software or USB devices (except the USB boot if necessary). It is in a State of cleanliness.

  -After the download via Windows Update, the installation procedure is INCREDIBLY slow (for example, it takes 36 HOURS to reach 42% completion - and at this point, it hits the error message). What the heck can he do?

  -J' also tried to create a bootable USB drive via the media creation tool. If I boot from the USB key and perform a "clean" installation, it works perfectly: it takes about 8 minutes total (which highlights how ridiculous the 36 hours). However, because it is a clean installation and not an 'upgrade', I find myself with a non-activated version of Windows 10 and I am asked to pay £99.99, I don't intend to do.   Also in the Toshiba HWSetup under tab BootPriority PXE network boot protocol must be selected.

I had zero problems with windows pe, but on the test batch of 30 thin clients that I installed and configured for smartzero, I'm having a problem. Whenever they are restarted, sometimes they will come upward to the PXE boot instead of booting from the hard disk and the only way to get them to boo back to the hard drive is physically draw power.   Don't know how you have configured the server, SCCM, but as far as I know, it might be possible to program the network boot as the only method of priming via SCCM.

  The ZIP file is large, so the download will take probably some time to complete.  Then unzip the download to extract theHirens.BootCD.ISO file that will be used to create your new bootable CD.

I will install Windows 7 on a separate partition and Windows XP is my current operating system. I want to use the WET program, but it implies that I'm to be transferred from ONE computer to another (using the cable or a network). It's the same machine and only no OS will run at the same time. How would I be able to use WET in this situation of dual boot? I have not yet installed Windows 7 or WET. Thanks, BarJabba

  Is the Windows 7 Professional a full license or upgrade? Please note that you will be unable to dual boot using a license to upgrade because it requires that you have previous eligible license installed on the partition.

  If it is a license full and that you plan to dual boot and want to transfer personal files and settings by using Windows Easy Transfer for Windows XP, you will need to do is select the option during the transfer Assistant Windows backup on an external storage device.

  Once you have done this, just do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit disc. In Windows 7 64 bit disk, start Windows Easy Transfer, follow the wizard screen, tap on which is stored the WET file (external hard drive) and it will restore your personal files and settings. Reinstall the applications needed.

  Now here it gets crazy. My issue seems to be with the v11.2.0.0 of the Agent Novell PXE (Preboot Execution). It says "Sending queries to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" then he received never actually do anything to continue the boot process, but ANY other config except 2 CPU or 2 cores CPU works fine.
