Laptop HP 15 t: problem of repair status

My FedEx Ground delivery tracker has confirmed that 'BMORJAL' has signed for the package that contains my laptop, shipped to a HP Service centre. However, HP didn't has not contacted me in this regard, neither the tracker shows that my laptop has even delivered to the service center. Everyone knows about this problem? What should I do about it?

    Give it another day or two. Laptops come in a large reception area and it takes a long time for them to move to someone who connects to them in the tracking system for you to see. And then a few days before everything that really happens.

    This is a late response to your question, but I thought that I could add more information here.

    From your description, it seems that your PageUp and the keys to the House (or arrows) of the keyboard are either stuck, or failing. These keys usually help access us in applications you mentioned. And since you mentioned that this happens even when the touchpad is not in use, it is likely that this could be the cause here.

    I suggest get you the checked keyboard when using a hardware technician, preferably from your computer manufacturer. That should help you understand better.

    Your subscription license allows you to have two facilities activated, so if both machines meets the system requirements so you should be able to install and connect the two.

  • Windows Vista update will not install and causes cell phone restart. Laptop will not reboot and Startup Repair cannot fix the problem.

    If your Vista is preinstalled, ANY support for your laptop is the manufacturer of the computer, not Microsoft.

    Try this:

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  • Computer laptop cracked screen sent for warranty repairs!

    I recently had my laptop that is only two months old (Qomisio X 10 500 t) sent back to Toshiba for repair of the fingerprint reader. When the left laptop was in perfect condition and not a top scratch. having paid £1,500 for it I was very careful to keep safe. Toshiba sent mail UPS to perceive and delieverd to Toshiba, it was the next day. When I contacted Toshiba to confirm that it had arrived safely, they said that it had happened, and the repair team had begun to look at this day. 4 to 5 days later, I checked the status of service online, and he said required information. So I rang the customer service and they said that there was nothing on the notes and all well aseemed. 2 days after (today) I get a phone call saying that they found no problem with the hardware with the fingerprint reader, but they found a problem with the screen. After hold that they say that they have noticed a crack in the screen and have a prize of £500 for me to get it fixed. OMG! I told them that there are no cracks/scratches or anhthing when he left via UPS (their courior). I was asked if I had checked that UPS box and pacakaged it safely in front of me. They then say that they will contact me in 48 hours but the team repair always photograph the machines when they come in and say now it was cracked since the beginning. They sent me an email of the photo and there is massive cracks curved towards the bottom of the right side of the screen! Even then, they had the nerve to ask if I'd like to send them the quote so I said no cos I wouldn't pay for the repair of it.

    So what's with that position? Are they not corrected the original sin is the courior sent by Toshiba or Toshiba repairs broke the screen. I have no evidence that it wasn't like that before. I don't understand why Toshiba didn't ring the day they received, if there was a crack whethey opened the package? They would surely do this before even touching anything else. I think that the repair team broke and said it was like this before

    What should I do? I can't afford to pay for the repairs and even if I could I don't see why I should!

  • HP Envy 7 ": HP laptop"logonui.exe application error"+ auto repair restarts without end

    I really don't know exactly what is the name of my product, however, my problem is very specific:

    First I got an error message titled something in the sense of "logonui.exe application error" with a background black, I couldn't start my laptop up so I went to recovery and just all backed up successfully and went to reformat but it got stuck at 2% until he finally said the Recovery Manager has stopped working , I tried just about everything until finally my laptop just say 'auto repair start' goes to a blue screen, restarts and repeats again and again. I can't really do anything, it seems pretty well doomed. It seems like a virus, but really, I don't know what I can do, if the only solution is to send in for repair, can I try now?

    I found this paragraph from a titled link: LogonUI.Exe Application error after update 8.1 of Windows that can help you! There are a few in there troubleshooting steps that may help.

    Here is a Microsoft document for you to read as well. This is called: error: LogonUI.exe application error.

    I understand what you are saying about this marking as resolved. Tell you what, read the links I provided on the error in the application (which, from what I've read, in my opinion, does not sound like a virus), replace the hard drive and then if the issues are resolved for you, come back and mark this question as an acceptable Solution for others.

    Anyone care to explain? Is this, by all means, supposed to be normal? Moreover, I have already sent in this laptop for repairs for the same problem about a month ago, but the tech team doesn't seem to solve the problem, so I had to send it new (I've posted my problem in the past). I was assured of customer relationships that I would get a new replacement if they were not able to resolve the problem once again, but I'm just confused on what is happening with my repair.     You must contact the manufacturer of the laptop for the status of your warranty.
    Regarding video issues you describe, you need to update the video driver for your system.  In general, you can get the latest driver on your laptop manufacturer's website.  The best thing is to find the manufacturer (ATI, nVidia, Intel) video card and get the driver directly from their Web site.  If you have your system up to date and all drivers are updated and you see this issue with more that one game, then you will have a hardware problem.     You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
    Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
    correctly.

    Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

    CD/DVDs have a tolerance + - and may your reading/reading on the edge outside these discs
    tolerances. They may be delivered, but it is generally more economical to replace the disk.

    Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
    ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and

    manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
    the parameters.

    If it does not automatically install, go to Device Manager and click the controller PCI E/D in need of drivers.

    Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.  Select Browse my computer for driver software option and find the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

    This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp66899.  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.  Then restart.
