LaserJet IIIp accordion pleated paper

My LaserJet IIIp was a special paper feeding problem.

It feeds paper out of the slot to eject before without problem, but out of the rear slot, the last third of each leaf looks like a sweet accordion fold or pleated in flange.

The problem is definitely in the last set of rollers.

If I eliminate these rolls the feed is good, but the leaf does not come completely out of the machine. (I ran some tests with the lid removed to prove that the entire sheet is printed and smooth (and) all the rolls before the last series comes...

I don't understand why the first 2/3 of each sheet comes out of the printer smoothly but the third last undulations.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to the cause?

Nice to see that some HP products are capable of longer than a few years.

I have a HP laserjet IIIP printer and use windows Vista premium edition.  I used to be able to print fine, then one day could not.  I can print a test page for the printer, but I get an "error" in the Print Manager on the docs, I try to print from the PC.  I tried to restart, unplug, check for bad drivers, checked all cables, etc.  Any ideas?

    Hello

Please uninstall the printer driver from the Device Manager and the Add/Remove programs. After this try to install it again.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/283658

LaserJet IIIP drivers are available through Windows Update.  Go to start, devices and printers, adding a printer, select the appropriate port, and then click Windows Update.  After a few minutes, the list will repopulate, then select HP (Hewlett-Packard not) and select the appropriate driver.  Note that you need a suitable driver for your cable USB / parallel.

Search for contradictory information.  The HPIIIP driver is available in Windows 7?

... The HPIIIP driver is available in Windows 7?

As an alternative to the HP support site, you should be able to get the correct drivers from devices and Printers' add a printer and Windows Update. The printer is available as HP, HP LaserJet IIIP.

    1. Click Start or press on the then select devices and printers from the list on the right. When the devices and printers windows opens and fills, click Add a printer among control options at the top.
    2. To open the Add Printer window, first select Add a local printer. Then select a port and click Next.
    3. In the next window, then click the Windows Update button and wait a few minutes until the list is filled again. It will look like nothing is happening, but it's work. Once the lists are updated, first select the manufacturer HP and HP LaserJet IIIP , choose from the list of Printers . Note that HP LaserJet IIIP is in alphabetical order after the 3xxx HP LaserJet entries.
    4. Click Next and enter a name for the printer.
    5. When you click Next must install the printer driver and you'll end up with the last screen where you can run a test print.
  • HP LaserJet 200 color M251nw: 200 Laserjet color m251nw in paper

    Hello

I have the printer configured above as a WSD printer on ethernet and shared on a Server Server R2 2012. The printer displays no problem, I can print the internal reports and diag pages. However, the driver on the server said 'in paper' and obviously does not in any one of the connected computers print.  The print driver is the "HP LaserJet 200 color M251 PCL6 driver class ' version 6.3.9600.17415.  I've updated the firmware to the last 20150212.  The printer has been installed a few months there and it worked very well at the start. Any thoughts?

I ended up changing the printer port on the server of WSD for IP and that seemed to solve it.  I've never had good luck with the WSD printer ports.

  • LaserJet Pro M276: What paper Laser Photo 4 X 6 can I use in a Color Laserjet Pro M276

What paper Laser Photo 4 X 6 can I use in a Color Laserjet Pro M276?

    Hello

Go to the next page, the first page only 12 points from the list. In any case, HP provides larger format documents for Laser printers. I do not know why:

    http://store.HP.com/webapp/WCS/stores/servlet/CategoryListingView?catalogId=10051&CategoryID=88331&langid=-1&StoreID=10151#! & TabName = vao

I do not print photos at home, too expensive, but for the test, I normally print 4 photos on a single sheet (A4) and cut in 4.

    Kind regards.

  • LaserJet P2015d: Laserjet don't feed paper unless I opened before each time

Hi all, I recently have a problem with my Laserjet P2015d how can I get to print each page of a document, I need to open the hood before (like matching the ink cartridge) and then close it to print the next page. If I do not open the lid before you start printing, it light-error with a flashing orange alert indicator. It does not send the error codes to the computer but then I don't really see what it is. But from what I hear, it tries to feed the paper from the cassette, but fails, unless I opened on the front, then close it and for some reason it work just for a single page. When he tries to move to the next, he fails again. How could solve this, or is it a bust? Thank you

When the bin is full the indicator says it's because the metal tray is all the way at the bottom of thie plastic frame, i.e. where he sat when he was full of paper and the drawer is closed.

When you first put all paper in and looking at the indicator is shows a full tray until you close the drawer, then when the paper raises it shows the actual level.

So at this point, that looks like you close the drawer, then paper comes up, if there is not a lot of paper in the tray it will feed a sheet but the mechanism which is to follow the set allows to fall and you get no paper feed more.

So, you could have actually just a defective Board.  If you can find another P2015 to borrow a tray, can you could test.

  • LaserJet CP1525: Laserjet CP1525 generates errors 'paper jam' on almost everything I print and there are no jams

Hello everyone, I have a Laserjet CP1525 who I am troubleshooting for a colleague, and no matter what we do whenever we try to print, we get "paper jam in tray 2" "clear jam and then press {OK}."

I checked this printer up and down and everything autour and there is no jams, there is not a coward or a sheet of paper, the platters, and linings are very clean, I opened all the doors on the printer, but we still have this isse. Toners are all fine, black, it becomes weak, but it is quite the impression that I was able to print a single test page.  I don't know what else to do. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

How old is this printer.  How it was used.  On this engine, I saw a lot where the roller is worn and it won't pick up the paper.  The roll is kind of a pain to change, but on what I laid out with this issue, once I have change the roll everything works fine.  Remove the tray paper and printing tilt up and with a flashlight he will shine on the roll.  Do not touch the roller.  There should be steps on the roll that you can see.  Most of the time there are only steps on the outside or the inside only and the rest of the roll is smooth.  If this is the case, you will need to change the roll.

  • LaserJet 5200tn tray 3 paper jam

I replaced rollers pick up in tray 3 and checked for obstructions the paper path, no effect. Any help would be appreciated, I'm stuck.

    Hi DeweyE,

I'm sorry, but to get your question more exposure I suggest posting in the trade forums since it is a commercial product. You can do so at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/

  • Color LaserJet 3600n's standard paper tray

We have a Color LaserJet 3600, who had a problem with the standard paper tray being stuck.  Could not get out until we were able to get inside the machine and press the metal plate that makes up the paper when the drawer is in the printer.  After we got him we found a small piece of plastic broken on the end of the right side of the metal plate that sticks through the plastic side of the tray (see picture).  Someone know where I can get this plastic piece without having to buy the whole set?

In general these tidbits on the bins of paper, like this one, is not available by themselves. We can check the HP parts store to see if the part is available, but probably it will take to get the tray as a single unit.

    I hope this helps.

  • HP LaserJet Pro M1530 MFP paper management

How can I configure the MFP HP LaserJet Pro M1530 to choose paper from the bin to paper and not from the status bar, manual power all trays are loaded paper.

    Hi emoh3,

With some printers, the manual tray is separated from the other trays. On this printer the manual tray uses the same pickup, power system as the main feeder that requires you to remove the paper if you want to print from the main tray. The manual tray for this printer is mainly used for envelopes or other special media that you want to print.

  • HP Laserjet 2600n's frequent paper jams

Sorry, this is my second post on this topic. I get paper jams in the main feeder of my HP Laserjet 2600n. It will not pick up sheets of paper so never really jams - it just stays in the tray of the printer. I make sure to put just the right amount of paper in, but it will not always pick up the leaves. How can I get the paper tray to work properly?

HP has a video that shows how to do this:

  • LaserJet M276nw - envelopes / Legal paper feed / manual

Can someone tell me how I can print envelopes / legal communication and manual feed my LaserJet M276nw?

    Thank you!

The M276nw printer does not have a manual feed slot.  To print a two-sided with this device, we could have taken the page printed and updated new paper in the tray.

See the section on loading the paper tray in the user guide of the printer for more information on the use of envelopes and legal papers.  Click here to view the guide of the user to the M276nw.

  • LaserJet p3005 printing 'path paper test' on 2 faces prints.

    Hello

Installed a p3005 and everything was fine.  When they go to print 2 sided, it prints 'Paper path Test' words on paper.  Any ideas?

There is a test of path of paper under the menu of diagnostics on the printer that prints on the paper, but it should print only when the test is activated.  You can post a copy of what the user does.

  • LaserJet Pro 400 (M401dn) paper jams of all trays

Our Organization has just bought a M401dn brand new, and I've been setting up out of the box. After you have configured the IP, I went to print a report. The jams from tray 2 with the message "paper jam in cartridge area. Open door and clear jam'.» I've therefore allowed and did it again. All to nothing does not; It keeps blocking. I tried to print from Tray 1 and it's the same thing; the paper is folded in almost a concertina-style and not powered through.

I put the correct paper (letter) in the printer sizes, updated its firmware, checked to see if there was that whatever it is hung in the transport of paper (not there), and I'm out of ideas. The weight of the paper I use is 20 lb (75 g/m2), which should not cause problems with transport.

We bought three M401n before, and they were easy to set up. So far, I am very far from impressed by the M401dn. Any suggestions / ideas would be gratefully received.

My first question is how recently where the unit was purchased, and you have contacted the helpline? On most hardware problems, it is best to contact phone support directly so that they can offer better, more immediate help, and they have the power to replace the unit in some cases, if necessary.

Aside from that, you were sure to check the internal parts of the machine for anything whether on-site or any debris

    Let me know!
