MAX OR don't find/see a network device

Good day everyone. I try to detect a LAN NI MAX instrument, but an error comes instead, saying that the device is not present in the system (see first.png). It's sort of weird, because I can ping the device, which is actually a Tabor ww1072 AWG... Could someone help me maybe the problem?

I use NI VISA 14.0

But for example I have a litter of LeCroy connected to a hub, just like Tabor ww1072 I can ping and add as an instrument of LAN of MAX OR.

Thank you all for the help in advance!

A scope of LeCroy is obviously not the same thing. In order to be detected as INSTR, the instrument must be compatible with LXI and VXI-11. The seller says it is? If this is not the case, use the RAW mode.

You say that you are not able to change the *.vmx file? You should not have the virtual machine running, then edit the vmx file. You need to REPLACE the line indicating the type of ethernet0 (from there, all that is initially at 'e1000'. Then, save the vmx file and exit the texteditor.

Starting the virtual machine with the mounted CD of ESX.

Can tell you how, you get an error (and what is the exact error).

  • Airport not showing is not as network device?

My Airport Extreme 802.11ac does not appear in the finder as a network device. It showed in the previous Extreme model I was using, then leave for any reason any. After messing around for a month or two, then trying to get it working again, I bought the new 802.11ac AE, but it does the same thing.

I have two other devices that appear in the finder under the shared part of the side bar of the Finder window, but cannot figure out how to show by EI. The wireless feature works very well, as a printer BSE connected to the USB port of the AE. Internet

It would be different if I was using the IP address of the type 10.x.x.x instead being in bridge mode and using 192.168.1.X?

    Any suggestion is appreciated.

My Airport Extreme 802.11ac does not appear in the finder as a network device

In the finder it will show only upward if you have a connected USB drive.

It showed in the previous extreme model that I used

Only if you have the network resources available to him.

Computers will be displayed, because they offer resources network, the PF to be exact.

But the airport will not be displayed. Mine is not, and never has.

My Time Capsule arises because it is a hard drive offering services of files on the network.

Printers will not appear in the finder no longer...  Again, I have printers online... they do not show in finder and never have any version of Mac OS X, I used.

However a printer with USB or SD card slots and a wired card which offers services of files on the network may appear... In the only finder services files will be displayed.

EI has to offer network file services appears in the Finder... Plug a USB stick into the USB port and set it to share on the network and the AE will then appear in the finder.

The place that you are looking for your AE's utilitarian Airport... It's the Apple of method available to see you the configuration of EI... no viewfinder.

  • Networking the cDAQ-9188 - no 'network devices' Max

    Hi all:

I have problems connecting my NI 9188 cDAQ via ethernet to my computer. MAX does not display it in his repertoire, or it displays "network devices". Based on the guide NOR offer, I don't know what else to do (I can't access the modules in a LabVIEW project which is my problem).

I used the tool online browser that seems to be the equivalent of MAX and works very well - I can see the IP address of the controller and it shows what chassis slots are used by what the map.

I tried manually inputing this IP in a remote system to the MAX, but that hasn't worked.

Any ideas on how I can networks controller on my computer so I can actually use in a LabVIEW project.

I have LabVIEW 2012 32 Bit. Would a student version be the cause of the problem?

    Thank you very much.

I am familiar with the method you describe, but I agree with all the power cycling to get some of these products to work. I had to do this several times with the cRIO. Any chance you could give a little more than a description step by step explcit of your approach? Thank you!

Good so here's what I did to try to reproduce and to have a step by step of what I had to do.

Firstly I have reset my cDAQ so that it would be if all goes well in the mode that yours is.  To do this, I pressed the button to reset for 5 seconds then.  I have also all my network devices defined to "Obtain an IP address automatically" in the IPv4 settings in my network connections.

    After that, I start MAX.

Go to devices and Interfaces > network devices, then I right click and choose Find devices.  It took a lot of time and the list was empty, but then I noticed that while he was always looking in this window, the MAX window showed my cDAQ-9188, who was a white device.  There, he registered the IP address as 169.254.93.149.  At this point if I went to the device to the MAX I saw where he sometimes States under network settings that no network adapters found.

So I closed MAX and open my "view network connections" in Windows, I just searched that term in the start menu.  Then for my device properties, went to the IPv4 properties, set the IP address of 169.254.93.0 with 255.255.0.0 default gateway.  It is, so I'm on the same subnet as the appliance.

I then restarted MAX now when I go to the device under devices, network and network settings I can set static IP and subnet is 255.255.0.0 10.10.10.100 then save.  Then closed MAX.

Then I went back to my view network connections, the static value of what I really wanted is 10.10.10.0

MAX then launched.  Find my device that is always white, click Add the device.  And then all is good.  I don't know if all these steps are necessary, and I don't know if there is an easier way, but it worked for me.

  • EA6500 - Canon sx510HS - connects, then disk - camera cannot see the network

Ok. Previously, I had a Netgear WNDR3300 and the device connected to the G network without problem and is remained connected. When I use the EA6500.

First of all, I see the network 2.4 comments when I search a network on the camera. I don't see the 2.4 or 5 ghz network. WPS will not find the camera and vice versa. Even if I try the PIN issued by the camera.

Secondly, when I manually add the camera to the network and enter the password, it connects for about 15 seconds then disconnects.

In the third place. When you use the option 'synchronize', the networks are not yet seen by the camera, but the camera connects to the network that I added manually, as in question 2, and stay tuned for a long time, however, it is necessary for the sync/copy all the new images in a folder on my pc.

So I'm puzzled as to why the camera connected so easily with the netgear and this Linksys EA6500 he will not keep the connection. any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi mtbmesa,

How far is the camera of your router? Outside the camera you have other wireless devices that connects very well with the router? What is the brand of the camera?

    Try these settings:

SSID: must be different for 2.4 GHZ and 5 GHz

    Network mode: mixed

    Security mode: WPA2/WPA mixed personal

    Channel width: 20 MHz

    Channel: 3, 6 or 9

I would like to know if it works.

  • Windows cannot find any additional network / an unexpected error has occurred

I got this new PC Windows Vista Home Edition x 64 SP2 and I need to connect it to the network wireless in my house because that the router Netgear DG834GT wireless broadband is not very conveniently placed for wired connectivity. I have a Netgear WG111T USB wireless adapter which works fine on my other PC / laptop (XP & Vista, both 32-bit), but I can't make it work on my Vista x 64 PC.

I have installed the version of the driver 2.1.0.26 x 64-compatible for the WG111T and the device works correctly, according to Device Manager.

When I try to 'connect', I get 'Windows cannot find any additional network . " While the other PC at home can pick up 3 wireless networks.

Go until the network & sharing Center, then manage the networks without wire, then Add, then manually create a network profile, I get "unexpected error ."

I spoke to Netgear who insist the player WG111T is compatible with the x 64 visits.

I talked to my PC provider who suggested to try the adapter on another PC Vista x 64 to see if it works there. Problem is, I don't know anyone else with a Vista x 64 PC.

I would be extremely grateful if someone can help me before on this one. Thanks in advance for all advice.

  • Can't find my wireless network

I recently bought 2 identical laptops, eMachines E525 Acer. Two of them are under Vista Home Premium.  When I put in place the first laptop computer, he finds and allowed me to connect to my router wirelessly with no problems whatsoever. When I pulled up and set up the other, when I tried to connect to the router, I get the message 'no wireless networks detected. I tried to set up the connection manually, but he still refuses to connect. Since I bought the machine that day, I got to the store, thinking it was a problem with the wifi of the laptop. They tested, and he finds about 6 networks nearby. They agreed to exchange for a new machine, and when I got the same problem occurred. For the life of me, I can't understand what is happening. The router broadcasts its SSID, certainly since the first laptop computer, as well as my PS3 and my Wii see the broadcast. Any suggestions on how to force the laptop to see the SSID?

Are you sure that your second computer is close enough to pick up the signal (or not to being blocked by something in the building)?  Have you tried to move next to the router and see if you can connect from there?

If the original machine could microphones wireless without any configuration and she and the new machine cannot connect to your router (but other units can and they can also get a connection), I suggest that you check the router settings to make sure that it is configured to accept multiple connections a lot and that there is no security feature that needs to be reset to allow the new machine to connect (perhaps a password or something).  I would also turn off the Windows Firewall and any security software you use to make sure that they are not interfering.  Also, I could set up a new connection on the computer that cannot connect (rather than old configuration) and see if that solves the problem.  Are you sure you used the correct workgroup name during installation?

You must set up a wireless internet connection in the network as well as the connection sharing normal LAN wireless and connect to it as well as the local connection.  If you don't do this, you will not have an internet connection.  You need both.  You must also enable some features in the main area sharing network to access the internet - they are quite well defined.

I hope this helps.  Keep us in the loop.

  • WINDOWS CANNOT FIND ANY ADDITIONAL NETWORK (DIAL-UP AND VPN) OTHER THAN THE WIRELESS NETWORK

ehmm I just installed nokia 6600 pc suite on my computer so I can access the internet on my computer through the usb cable. Installation and drivers have been installed correctly. I can access the internet on the handset but when trying to connect to the internet via USB with the computer "I get a message that windows cannot find any additional network." Its really disturbing that I can do to fix this. Can someone help me please.

Even if a USB device, it does not create a new network connection for you.  I fear also that you use a regular USB cable - those connections often require a crossover cable (but more on that later and I guess it should work it is how it is advertised).  Go to start / Control Panel / Network and sharing center / set up a connection or network / and choose the first option (you can also check the main page to see if the connection is listed but I doubt it).  Choose to set up a new connection and follow the instructions - ensuring that you enter the correct settings when it is required.  You should perhaps install device drivers, firmware and or software for the device to work properly - read the installation mode (and call technical assistance from Nokia to help you put in place - they know more about what we do and should be happy to guide you through the process and even to set the settings on your computer until you log - that's what I would do in your before circumstane even of) ask for help here).

To start / Control Panel / Device Manager and check all the new drivers (double clck on them) to confirm that they say that they do not work properly.  Go to start / Control Panel / Add Haedware and have the system check new hardware devices - if it finds, install them (it is perhaps what is missing in this process).

I hope this helps.  If nothiing suggested I bring, don't hesitate not to contact Nokia for assistance - I'm sure they'll have you place and operate at any time.  Keep me in the loop.

    Good luck!

  • ATV4 is unable to see WiFi networks

Each time my new ATV4 (TvOS 9.2.1) will lose the WiFi connection. When I try to reconnect it "sees" no WiFi network at all. My other devices (MacMini and several iPhones and iPads, smart TV, etc.) have no trouble finding my WiFi network or those of my neighbours. The ATV4 is almost line-of-sight with and about 3 meters (10 feet) from my router. My other ATV4, which was originally two concrete walls, never loses the WiFi connection.

The new ATV4 always restarting fixes the problem, but it seems that I wouldn't restart the ATV so that he can see the available WiFi networks.

I'd be inclined to try somewhere else to try to determine if the problem is inherent or due to your environment.

When its plugged with a cable, it works fine but when trying to get the wireless network will not find everything, it will not work with WEP?

I have century Tel Internet with a Modem from Westell 327W

    Any ideas?

I just did mine to talk wireless.  My mistake was reset the camera between steps - I kept losing the settings.  I used the ping to prove my steps.  Note whenever you plug the power cable into the camera, the blue light should turn on, turn off, then blink several times and go stable.

With the ethernet cable connected, enter a static IP and the SID and apply the settings.  Unplug the power supply, wait 10 seconds, plug it back and check that you can access camera web page using your static IP address.

If this does not work (you can access the page and your settings are still in place), enter your security information (I use WEP 128 but there should be no difference with 64) and apply it.  Go to prove that it has the settings again.

Then unplug your power once more, unplug the ethernet cable and reconnect the power supply.  You should see a little more flashing, but not much, because it looks for your wireless network and connects.  Now you should be able to ping the static IP address and get answers and you should be able to use the web page for the administration of the camera.

If this does not work, try an IP scanner (I used a freeware of radmin.com scanner) and see if the address is in place in the list.  I have to go through a few iterations that the camera has lost its static IP address and is back to DHCP - the scanner made me know what was the new address.

I have just moved house (previously in the United Kingdom, in Australia) and now I can't get my Dell Inspiron 1525 to find (Vista 31 bits operating system) wireless networks. • dv6810us don't Scan for wireless networks

I have a Pavilion dv6810us notebook running Vista Home Premium. It has the Atheros AR5007 wireless card. There are ten days, he stopped searching for wireless networks. I can only connect to a wireless so I manually enter the SSID and password in manage wireless networks. The connection to a network screen displays the message, "Windows cannot find any additional network." The box at the top right of the screen does not work. The last day, I was able to find wireless networks was at a Starbucks in New York on 29 October. Help, please. Thank you.

Please do not hold account that last response. I did a Google search and found at www.wefi.com. It works! Thanks a lot for your help. I like the fact that the software gives you a list with icons that tell you if a hot spot is protected or not, so you can see at a glance. Nice work and 1 million thanks!

  • All network devices can see each other + Windows 7 computer, but machine Windows 7 can not see them

Hello. Under the network of my machine Windows 8 folder, I can see all the devices on the network. This includes a printer, my computer Windows 7 (what I can access), an Apple TV (from special software), a wireless hard drive, the router and a digital recorder.

The Windows 7 machine, I can only see the router and the printer. On special software, the Apple TV does not either. When you perform the Windows 8 computer host as a server for the special software, the Windows 7 machine could not see it on the special software. This means that there is something wrong on the Windows 7 this machine is not allowing him to detect other devices.

In a game of LAN, Windows 7 and Windows 8 computers can't see each other.

All devices are on the internet and I am posting this from the Windows 7 machine right now.

Windows 7 and Windows 8 machine are on the same network.

No device is on a host group and the group home service is disabled.

    Peer networking is enabled.

    Network discovery is turned on.

Both connections are set to private/Home.

Originally, the Windows 7 machine has been on his own home group and could be seen by anything. After a few hours, I finally got out of the home group, how other devices could see him then. However, he cannot always see other devices.

How can I get the Windows 7 machine to see other devices? I am at a loss. Is there a service that I have disabled right now that needs to be enabled? I don't know what to do.
