Multisim simulation of co error

Hello

When you perform a simulation in Labview (using a model of Multisim) in the Loop Simulation & control, sometimes a small window pops up with the error: Multisim is closing due to the error... (or something like that, I don't use multisim in English) even if I did not open at all Multisim. I think that it opens in the background and it closes because of an error.

If someone could help me, I would be very grateful...

Thank you

Ussr123

Hello

I think I already know what the problem was. I was providing some input values in my file of Multisim simulation. These values were floating point numbers, and sometimes with a micro digits after the comma. It seems that Multisim couldn't handle it. After cutting all the numbers they came after the comma, leaving only 2 or 3, the error seemed no more.

I hope I could help, if everyone will head the same error, try to think of cutting the floating numbers to real numbers.

    Hello

I'll expand a bit what Angela said on the. ENDS and then try to clear up the pins.

The SPICE model that you use for the PA78 includes several subcircuits and models. Best practices for creating a component in Multisim are having one. SUBCKT or. MODEL for each component. The point of this is to ensure that the additional models or models contained so that they do not interfere with each other in the final netlist. The best way to solve this problem is to move the. ENDS during the main subcircuit until the end of the complete draft - so, instead of simply add the. ENDS at the end, you must also remove the first. END of line in the file. For this circuit, you probably don't need to do it, however in general, it's a good idea to do by making a component like this.

With respect to the pins, step 6 of the component wizard asking you order the pins will be used in the model. The (original) model that you have only 10 knots, so it isn't a problem if you have only 10 pins there. If you have 12 pins on your symbol, and only 10 model nodes, then you score just two unused pins as "NC"(vous pouvez également ajouter deux broches"fausses"pour le.) ". SUBCKT which is what you did, but you have not).

For the rest of the pins, see the. SUBCKT line and comments just ahead of him:

    * PINOUT ORDER +IN -IN IL OUT +VS -VS CR+ CC+ CR- CC-* PINOUT ORDER  7   6   1  2   12  4   8   11  10  3.SUBCKT PA78 7 6 1 2 12 4 8 11 10 3

Comments indicating the order of broaching tell you the order in which the terminals must be indicated when you use the PA78. SUBCKT. As you can see on the. Line SUBCKT and comments, even if IT is pin 1 on the component, it should actually be listed third when you use the. SUBCKT. It's asking you to step 6 in the component wizard. Step 6 allows you to specify the order in which to use the pins to Multisim. The comment you indicates that + is the model node 1, - IN is model node 2, IT is the model node 3, etc., and then you say Multisim by setting the number of nodes of model

    Hope that helps!

  • What is this error from the device Simulator?

weird! can someone help me. I am not able to use my Simulator to test my application. At start-up, Simulator gives following error.

    Error inside JVM:

    0x00000008 read access violation

    I use JDE 4.3 and Simulator 8120

    Kind regards

    -nitin

    Follow these steps:

    1 out of the JDE

    2. run clean.bat located in the directory of Simulator and wait until it has finished

    3. run JDE

It should help. If this isn't the case - reinstall JDE and make sure you have the full privileges on the computer.

  • error code-2367?

I'm using LabVIEW-Multisim co-simulation for ordering a buck converter circuit. When I run the VI which controls the converter circuit in Multisim, I get an error code-2367. Specifically, its this error:

External model buckconv.vi/Control & Simulation loop
    doAnalyses: Timestep too small

    (M202)

I think that the error is the framework of simulation in Multisim, but I do not know what parameters to change so that I can solve the problem.

    Hello

Normally for a problem of scaling of the timestep I would adjust the tolerance values. In your loop control of Simulation, if you pull the bar to the left, there are 2 options for tolerance (relative and absolute). Try decreasing the accuracy of these (instead of e-12, e-08 of use). Also the minimum and maximum values of stepsize control are there as well if you can try chaning those. Let me know if it works.

  • Errors of memory to the Satellite P105-s6177

    Hi all

I have Toshiba Satellite P105-s6177. He was showing classic symptoms of disorders of memory for months - I get random patterned like MEMORY_MANAGEMENT bsod BAD_POOL_HEADER and a few others, I don't quite remember, especially something on a page in a fault zone unpaged. He lived several reformats nothing doesn't. I ran the windows memory test and it said that I had a RAM error within seconds of starting.

Recently, I tried to reformat since the backup drives that Toshiba came with the computer and the computer got a BSOD in the middle of the restructuring process. I tried for a few times more and get what Google tells me is a RAM error. I pulled out a piece of RAM, tried, replaced the RAM pulled the other piece, try and get errors of memory. I apologize because I don't remember the name of the specific error that I receive, I will try to provide as soon as possible.

Basically, I cut down to either the two pieces of RAM being corrupted or virus in the BIOS, simulating a RAM error. Is there a way I can test it for a virus in the BIOS? Currently, I can not even the computer to boot, it has no operating system installed on it because of the fiasco of reformatting. The most I can do, is bring up a command prompt.

Thank you for your time and attention.

And why don't you try to get the new RAM module and test it? For me, it's the best thing you can do now.
There must be some problems with the RAM addressing.

  • Unable to resolve the error of convergence

I have a thermostat to diode based using a 1N4148 as reverse engineering temperature sensor.

I entered the circuit in the schematic editor, but whatever I do, he refuses to perform the simulation!  I get an immediate "Timestep too small" simulation error, and the assistance of convergence can not solve.

I don't * think * I have all "stupid" that would cause the simulation to fail, but maybe I've missed something obvious.

As a "Starter for 10 points" How can I get the simulation to run?

As a '30-point Bonus question' how can I change the temperature of the led (say) 150C while leaving the rest of the simulation at nominal temperature?

    Hello

We use a better model for the LM324N SPICE:

    • Double-click this component (U3A) to open its Properties.

    • Select the value and click the replace button.

    • Make sure the LM324N is selected in the browser pane.

    • Visit the Model FAB/ID field and select the model of National Semiconductor National (it is a model of 5 pins, more precision).

    • Click OK, select the section.

    • Repeat this procedure for the section B, C and D.

Run the simulation, this convergence error should disappear. I have attached your circuit with this change.

    I hope this helps.

  • NI Elvis and Multisim interactive without labview

If a circuit is implemented and tested with the help of Elvis, the results of an output displayed in Multisim and Labview?  If I want to change my Multisim simulation to match the output of the circuit set up as Elvis, is possible in real time?      I know that TINA can do with their hardware/software.     Thank you

    jweaver-

You can display the measurements in Multisim and LabVIEW.  With NI ELVIS, you can use 12 instruments of autonomous software by installing the driver (FGEN, Noculars, DMM, ect).  The instruments are built using LabVIEW.  You can access these same instruments in Multisim environment and compare the Multisim circuit simulation commensurate with live material in real time.  I included a tutorial describing how to do it using equipment OR myDAQ.  The steps are the same for NI ELVIS.

If you want to create a custom beyond the 12 instruments application, you can program the instruments in the LabVIEW programming environment.

    Hey,.

I'm trying to convert a series of laboratories studying for a class of dynamic systems run on a newer, better set up.  Previously, the laboratory, I'm working on that took input from a sensor, fed entry through an analog circuit that feeds the output of this circuit a Labview VI.  My question is, which is possible by using a Multisim simulation instead of a physical circuit?  I found volumes about Labview screws running in Multisim, but nothing about a taking a Multisim circuit inlet VI.  If this is possible, what configuration do you suggest?

Where is past ".vi DAQmx Create Channel (I-voltage-Custom with excitement)?

I tried to use this VI of force measurement with an NI PXI-4472. He responds with the 200431 error... You asked: more: voltage: Custom with excitement, you can select: sound pressure, voltage: microphone,...

It seems to me to be an internal error of the VI's Version of LabView 8.6.1

    Hi Suse,

    Thanks for your reply.

It's the right device but the bad VI.

PXI-4472 is an excellent camera for the dynamic force measurement using Quartz sensors. I was intending to use the .vi (I-voltage-custom with excitement) to configure entry and IEPE excitement, but I got the error code. I have now managed by using the pure (I-voltage) .vi entry configuration and IEPE using the DAQmx channel property node.

However, I tried the .vi (I-voltage-Custom with excitement) with appropriate PXI-4220 simulated device, no error.
