My color laserjet 2860 only print in b & w on network based computers.

Since the computer usb it prints very well.  I wandered through all the settings and don't see anything obvious.  How to print in color?  One of the network is running XP and the original disk of software has been installed and the other is running Windows 7 and runs the PCL6 print HPUniveral.

Thanks anyway, I solved the problem by reinstalling the software.

  • HP Color LaserJet 1600 Laser printer does not

After I installed Windows 7 instead of Vista on a 64-bit HP laptop, I had problems with my printer (HP Color LaserJet 1600 Laser Printer).  The test page works well, but some applications, such as the Windows Photo Viewer that comes with Windows 7, produce nothing but totally black pages when I try to print photos (it's black, not white).  The strange thing is that, if I insert a picture in a Microsoft Word 2007 page, it prints well!  In addition, other applications are unable to make use of the printer, such as Adobe Reader 9 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 7, who refuse to recognize the printer.  Is this a known issue with a solution?

  • Color LaserJet 2600n: uneven printing CLJ 2600n

I recently had an opportunity Color LaserJet 2600n and inside it was a MESS! I have it cleaned and replaced all four cartridges of toner with new HP OEM units and it is printing enough now. But, if you look at the thescan of the page supplies below you can see two of the colors fade out as it goes further to the left (yellow and Magenta).

I went through the service manual and can not see any sort of adjustment for cartridges of toner, ETB or merger. I know that old need to replace toner cartridges (I think they used a type of charging service since two of them were on the run and one was a brand of Office Depot).

I'm really not only to replace the parts in the hope he can fix it. Someone has an idea if it is a question EBT or fusion? Perhaps another part or adjustment?

    Thanks in advance!

    Larry.

Larry, this is a known issue with the scanner Assembly laser. The good news for you is that it can be fixed by cleaning, but there are some necessary disassembly. You should be able to find instructions online to document the process to disassemble the printer, removing laser Assembly, cleaning of optics in it.

I did once and it was relatively easy, but you don't need a little space to put parts on and little patience.

CLJ 4600 is not supported on Windows Server 2012. However, you can use HP Universal Print Driver (UPD) for print on CLJ 4600 of Win Server 2012.

  • Problem with Printer Color LaserJet 2600n of printing. Thin strips Magenta on the printed Pages

I have a Color LaserJet 2600n, on which I replaced both magenta and yellow cartridges a week ago. Both cartridges are genuine HP. The printer cleaned and calibrated.

Today, the thin magenta strips about 3 "apart began to appear on my printed pages. Print pages, but there is a 'click' stable, audible about 2 seconds apart from from the inside of the printer. Even after a cleaning several times, the bands are less bright, but they are still there. They also appear on the printed test page and on the page of troubleshooting print quality. Is there something wrong with this new magenta cartridge? This problem has never happened before in the 6 years, I've owned this printer.

Here a link to the document that addresses the issues of print quality for your printer model. It will give you the different troubleshooting steps to try to resolve the problem. One of the steps in the document will guide on inspecting the print cartridge and see if the replacement is in order. I hope this helps.

    Hello

Do you think that the printer has impeded?  Or, is there a big gap between the ejected pages?  Have you checked the paper type in the bin?  Please make sure that the paper type is set to "Plain".

After the closure of the status bar, the media sensor will detect the first fed leaves 5 and decide on the type of media.  Maybe your media are dirty or defective?  Try cleaning the sensor of media.

You can disable the detection of media sensor, so if the above does not resolve issue you, please let me know.

    Kind regards

  • Color Laserjet pro m252dw: print off center

My printer prints slightly biased (as too far to the right). I did the alignment test and tried to solve the problem by adjusting printing to several mm to the left, but it does not work. I am trying to print labels with graphics that contain a border of circle-because the page is printing off center seem no good labels. I print on sticker paper for labels and have used several different programs label to print from, and all have the same resulf of centred off the coast. Any suggestions? Help would be very appreciated!

    Hey @OldSoulA,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you have a problem of quality when printing labels from your computer Windows 8.1 to your HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw. I would like to help you today with this problem of printing the label. Thank you for all the troubleshooting steps you tried before reaching out for support. At this point, I'm going to make sure that the labels that you are printing on conform to the specifications of your HP Laserjet Printer. Once you confirm that the labels you are using are supported, we will miss some tests in order to check if this central issue is caused by the type of paper or a problem of setting. Please follow the steps below.

    Step 1: Check paper:

According to the specifications of your HP Laserjet Printer, the following labels are supported:

    • You can load up to 50 sheets of labels into the tray at 1 time. Do not exceed 50 sheets
    • Avoid mixing media into the tray with paper. Avoid labels on top of plain white paper in your loading tray
    • Avoid using labels that are separated from the backing sheet, wrinkled or damaged in any way
    • Do not use labels that have exposed the carrier sheet
    • Do power not more than once a sheet of labels into the printer
    • Avoid printing on both sides of the labels
    • Avoid printing on sheets which the labels have been removed
    • Make sure that you use the specific Laser as adhesive labels can damage internal components in your machine.

Once you have confirmed that the paper of the label that you are using is meet the specifications of your printer can you please move to the next step.

    Step 2: Print Self Test:

    1. Load of the plain white paper in your paper tray
    2. On the front panel of your printer then drag your finger to the left and select configuration
    3. Under the menu Setup touch Service
    4. Tap the cleaning Page
    5. Print a cleaning Page now. This page should show the colored lines centered

Check the alignment of the present report.

    • The colored lines appear centered?
    • Printing documents from your computer on plain white paper print centered?

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting so far. Once I have the results of your troubleshooting with the answers to my questions above, I'll be more than happy to provide additional assistance for this problem. I look forward to hear from you!

  • Cannot configure HP Color Laserjet M451dn to print on 3 x 5 cards

I use a HP Laserjet M451dn connected to a MacAir running Mac OS 10.8.5.  The laptop computer and the printer are on the same network.  The printer works well when you are printing on 8.5 x 11"standard letter-size paper.  However, I was able to set up the printer to print on cards of 3 x 5 loaded into Tray 1.  I downloaded the manual which gives only the instructions in configuration of the paper formats customized for Mac OS 10.6.  What usually happens, it is 3 x 5 card through the printer, but nothing is printed on it.  Sometimes, there is an error message indicating that the lower limit is not in the print area.  Someone elese experience this problem and solved?  Are there more current intructions to create customized with Mac OS 10.8.5 paper sizes?

I would suggest reinstalling the software, you can first try the software specific to this printer below the link:

    http://h20000.www2.HP.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=4346264&locale=en_US&TaskID=135&prodSeriesId=4346082&prodTypeId=18972

Or the software that is generalized for LaserJet, like the PCL6 software:

    http://h20000.www2.HP.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/ProductList.jsp?prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=503548

Let me know what is happening in response to one of these programs.

Go on the hard drive of the Mac, applications, utilities, disk utility, click Mac hardrive left side, click on verify disk permissions, when it is finished click on repair disk permissions.
(when it's over will show disk repair completed)

Run the Apple updates also. (the Mac uses probably drivers 10.8)

AAAI has recently updated computer from XP to Windows 7, now this printer print custom. I tried to download the new driver, but HP 3600n does not appear as a compatible printer, how can I use this printer with Windows 7?

According to the website of HP support for Color Laserjet 3600 series, you can use the Vista driver.

Their instructions on how to do this run (click on 'Get software' in the following link for instructions): http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=501046&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=501044&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=4062

  • LaserJet Pro CM1415fn: Upgraded IMac and Laserjet now only print in black

Just upgraded my iMac, and the printer now not working is not in color. I see that the software is not available for Sierra implies that this may be the cause of the problem is it? Wish now that I had just updated! Software will be available soon?

Thanks for letting me know @Fosse.

Check the name of the driver that is installed by the printer. Make sure that it shows just the name of the printer.
Click on the Apple menu, click System Preferences. Click on printers and scanners, highlight the name of the printer on the left side and right side of the screen it should show the name of the printer. (Laserjet Pro CM1415fn)

If the full name of the printer is not correctly, delete and add the printer name back from the list. Click on the sign - to remove the driver and then click on the + sign to add the driver might have to drop-down list to select the name of the printer to add a click.

If you still have problems, and that the printer is on a network, just for fun, try connecting the printer with a USB connection to see if you can print in color.

  • HP Color LaserJet cp2025n bars prints on several pages

Recently, our lab printer started print thick lines, "BOLD" through the pages it prints.  It is present in all printed material, including the printer Test pages.  It's quite annoying and a waste of resources.

I'm looking for the troubleshooting steps to alleviate the issue.  Currently, the printer does not display the error codes, and all the toner cartridge levels are above 75%.

I did not update the drivers or the computer and this is a recent development.

I ran the cleaning diagnostic menu, there is no indication of any dirt or debris.

The horizontal bars occur only when printing.

    Please advise troubleshooting steps.

I can view the images now.

Failure seen on the prints, it seems be a cartridge or HV question contact.  Since it's all the 4 colors in order, they are installed in the cartridge tray pulls.  I recommend you all the contacts field since the cartridges to the HVPS othe (power supply voltage).

One of the possible reasons for this type of fault, is that when the drums are supported, there is a breach to the ground all four MAF at the same time that acts as a discharge (as the laser show) and here of toner is attracted to the unloading area.  It seems that it occurs once.

    I hope this helps.
