  Hi all
  We have a problem on one of our field of PC:

  • Parts of the printer in printers and faxes are missing.
  • The print spooler service stops.
  • Add Printer failed with the operation could not be completed error

  Have tried the steps:

  1. Restart the print spooler service
     The service could be restarted, but stops again when I tried to do something in the windows printers and fax machines, such as adding a printer, or open the properties of the server.
  2. Follow the steps in Bruce Sanderson Web Windows http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm and http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/FAQPrinting.htm
     All the steps have been followed, but still could not solve the problem.

  4. Run sfc/scannow
  5. Run Chkdsk C:/f/v

  I'm out of ideas.  Someone please suggest what to do about it.

  Hi all

  Fixed a problem.

  It turns out the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Providers must be cleaned too - delete all subkeys (and their values) EXCLUDES the Internet Provider LanMan Print Services and printing keys (and their values).  A reboot is required.

  Hope it will be useful for people who have this problem in the future.

  Hi my Hp 915 all-in-one printer is not completely print in grayscale. When I tried to print a black and white photo he printed only 1/4 at first, then the rest is in red or pink.

  Grayscale is a mixture of colors available on your printer and in conditions normal printer print in black and white with the help of all colors. If you want to print B & W, select black in only.

  The network printer is connected to a XP computer?
  Are either using a 64-bit version of Windows?

  I suggest visiting the manufacturer's Web site to see if they have Windows 7 drivers or at least Vista drivers.

  I also propose to sign in as an administrator to install the printer.

  Finally, I STRONGLY recommend that you learn from 10.4 to 10.5 at least.  10.4 is not officially supported by HP or Apple. You continue to have problems...

• I can not know install printer computer, keep is blocked

  I have a gateway dual core laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit.  I recently bought a Lexmark Pro 715 printer.  Put the installation disc in the computer and it got stuck during installation.  I called Lexmark support and they accompanied me on the rest of the facility, including putting it on my wireless network.  Two days later a kind of update printer who did the printer stops and restart to activate the update hit the printer on the network and I couldn't print anything.  I've tried several things from the manual and the site of Lexmark, but nothing worked.  I called Lxmrk support again and told them what was going on.  They had run me a report of the printer and make a copy of it on the scanner... also worked well... they then told me that the printer works very well and they do not address the problems of network connection.  I told them he was working fine b4 that the 'software update' whacked out and I was basically blown it wasn't their problem.  I then rerouted managed by connected usb printer Cable.  Who has worked for ten days and was hit with "another update".  Had problems then with the printer goes into offline and stuck mode in the print jobs what he locks up completely about five days later.  Try again everything in the manual and the Lxmrk Web site.  Called Lexmark support again and they said they could probably fix it, but I buy "premium them Support Package for one year for only $120.  Return to employment and the lexmark site, I went... frustrated I fell on the microsoft site to find info and we have tried many things to fix the drivers etc.  I uninstalled the printer from the computer and reset the printer more than once try different options and nothing works.  The network on the printer does not now connect and I can't the computer to see the printer when I try to install using a wired installation.  I think that some files may be missing or damaged and I can't understand what they have done to my usb connection does not recognize the printer.  I have change the wires... no difference.  I can connect other devices (external keyboard and a wireless mouse), in the same usb port, and they work fine.  Help, please.  I can't get this figured out.  Already, I have a big rock brilliant fancy for a doostop and do not want this printer to end up here.  Thanks in advance to anyone who can help you.

  3 is the computer, or a printer attached to a domain network?

• L7780 HP 'add a device' can not detect the printer on the network

  I have a HP OfficeJet Pro L7780 printer and a laptop running Windows 7 Hp. The HP Solution Center has stopped working recently and now gives a message error "HP Solution Center cannot work because your installation of the device is not complete."

  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software "OJProL7X00_Full_14.exe" and when I go to 'Add a device' it cannot find my printer on the network, even when I enter the IP address.

  I ran "OJ6500vE709_Scrubber_14.exe" - bird 1-2-3-4 and it did make a difference.

  The printer is connected to the network and I can add it as a printer in the window "Devices and printers" window so I can print to it, but without the HP Solution Center software, I can't scan.

  So Windows can detect the printer on the network and when I add the printer in this way, all 4 computers connected to our network can print to it fine.

  HP Print & Scan Doctor detec the printer on the network can. When I run that it is said that the comprehensive software solution for your product is not installed on this computer and when I click on the button 'Install Software', need me just the OJProL7X00_Full_14.exe file. The software seems to install fine but I can't add a device.

  HP printer install wizard for Windows can detec the printer on the network. When I run that it is said that the current full HP software is already installed and drivers seem to be installed correctly. A test page will print perfectly.

  But "Add device HP A" not somehow the printer detec.

  I see that you spent a lot of time trying to solve the problem of the HP Solution Center not allowing you to scan. Uninstall and install it, rub the software and execution of printing and scanning Dr. / Printer Wizard are all the steps I would have suggested do you.

  I would like you to follow the steps described in this document from HP: the progress bar on the Software Installation stops or stalls, many steps in it you all ready done but please follow the document from top to bottom.

  Before you start to trouble shoot the issue still provides also the computer is not connected to a VPN (Virtual Private Network) and you can access the printers on-Board Web server by entering the printers IP address in Internet Explorer.

• scanner can not find the printer hp photosmart 6510 e all-in-one

  I tried all the help and downloads to try that works - I don't have the disk.  Somehow my printer has been removed and I got to the top but the scanner will not recognize the printer and will not scan.  He says that it cannot find the printer.  I tried to download all the drivers etc from windows, hp Web site.  He says, make sure that it is connected to my computer?  If the printer is connected wireless why my scanner isn't?

• CC will not let Me print

  Creative cloud would not let me print my images and after turn the pinion of the icon for 5 minutes and then gives me a default message, "could not complete your request because of a program error."  I checked my memory usage and it seems to be more than enough such that the machine should not be grippements.  This has happened several times today.  Any suggestions on a fix?

  Go to the file menu > hover your mouse over Print > press and hold the space key > This would call for zero Configuration printer Photoshop and open the print menu > check if you are able to print.

  In addition, make sure that the your printer drivers are updated.

• Illustrator CS3 - Print - output - allow me to select color separations

  Hello

  I'm printing for the first time.  The process of preparing should be really simple right?  Separate the layers of color, using Illustrator, then print each layer on transparent sheets.  Well, I'm about to lose my mind.

  The image is CMYK, it is a unique spot color (I think) which is red and the contours are black.  The printer is a Canon ix6500.

  I can't separate the colors in Illustrator CS3?  Why?  When you select Print > output > Mode > it won't allow me to select the halftone colors.

  I tried to solve this problem by selecting the printer > Adobe Postscript and PPD > Canon ix6500 series.  It allows me to select the colors dithered, but then it will not print, it only saves it in PDF format and print such what.

  Help, please!  Any advice would be appreciated!  I'm going out of my mind here!

  I found the solution! So here are the steps, I hope people out there could benefit from this :-)

  This is what worked for me using a Mac and a non-postscript (Canon iX6540), Illustrator CS6 printer, PostScript known as Scribus downloaded software.  My drawing was created in Illustrator and all colors have been Pantone solid coated spot colors.

  These are the specifications that must be selected in the print dialog box:

  General

  • Predefined print: custom
  • Printer: Adobe PostScript file
  • PPD: Lisanet PDFwriter

  Output

  • Mode: Separations (host-based)
  • Ink Options panel can present spot colors that appear in your design.

  Then you save it :-)  This will save as a PostScript file.  To open it, you will need a software PostScript.  One who seems to have done the trick is to Scribus.

  First you write a wrong syntax for your sql statement

  Select ename emp in STATUS_CODE where empno = '7369';

  its should be like

• Problem with the conditional tags in printed output

  I write help files for different versions of our software - version 4 and 5 using Robohelp for HTML 5.0.2
  
  There is a large overlap of information between the two, so I use a help file joint with marked topics that are specific to version 4 or version 5.
  
  I went out and then use with 'NOT v4' or "NOT v5" as the conditional tags.
  
  It works fine in the HTML output. However, I encountered problems with the printed output.
  
  Ideally, I want the help file using the option "generate the single document" because it means that the document produced, without the single output field. However, when I do, the tags conditional build fail and I get a piecemeal result.
  
  If I generate the document by using the option 'generate individual documents' tags conditional build work, but I get the only field I want to avoid.
  
  Does anyone know how to get the conditional tags to work when the option "generate the single document" is selected?

  I think I have the answer now.

  In the properties for the SSL Print dialog, the third screen is the dialogue of section layout. I had removed some sections in the right pane (for example, the default title page, glossary, and index) because I did not want them to appear in the final printed output. It seems that without these sections present conditional compilation tags do not work correctly when the document is released by using the option 'generate a single document ".

  I started again with a "blank" printing of SSL version. Conditional constructions using the "generate a single document" appear to work fine when I leave the dialog layout intact section.

  I can even do the conditional tags build an injustice because the option "generate a single document" (after that I made the changes in the dialog layout section) seems to be that some of the chapters in the table of contents and omitting others.
