Not printing not recognized

My HP C4385 is not printing anything but the test page.  I am running Windows 7, 64-bit with a wireless network.  The printer worked fine until a couple of months and am about to throw it out the window.  I can print without problem, wireless test page.  However, nothing will print.  I can choose the printer, print and it PC acts like it is printing but nothing happens, at all.  I tried to download and reinstall this patch for Windows 7, 64-bit, but when I try to run the update, I get an error message "this update does support not all readers of HP device you have on your PC.  You don't need this update of the software. »

I installed a new router wireless a few months ago, but I'm fairly certain that I could print later.

My laptop is a Toshiba P505 S8980.

I connected the printer with the USB cable, and the same thing happens - no impression.  I'm really tired of having to send what I wan to print my husband and it then prints on his Kodak printer.

Any help on this?

I tried to uninstall the software, but it did not work.  I solved the problem.  I ran sfc/scannow and it found a some corrupted files that have been fixed.  Now, I can print without problem.

I've been looking for a solution

My R700 on Win7 worked perfectly using the finger print scanner. At any given time without cause the

-J' tried to remove the software, reinstalled driver

-Finger Print genuine software starts, but only to give an error that the FP-reader is not present.

Is there a way to remove the fingerprint stored manually by removing the manually.

If you do not see material unresolved fingerprints or devices in Device Manager, then the device is either disabled in the BIOS or the fingerprint sensor is defective or too loose or there is a spill of liquid causing corrosion.

    Can anyone help please?

I have a printer HP 2050 all-in-one J510 series which I was printing with my new laptop with Windows 8 success in plugging just USB. It is not installed as says not compatible with 8 disc. (my old pc has 7) I replaced a cartridge this morning and since then have not been able to print, it is not recognizing the printer.

  • Duplex not recognized under Vista 64-bit printing accessory

I recently had to replace my old computer with an HP Pavilion a6700f running Windows Vista Home Premium 64 - bit SP1.

I got my 7410 HP all-in-One printer connected and operating, the latest software HP installed and checked for updated drivers, firmware or Windows updates to date. Everything is up-to-date.

However, my two-sided printing accessory is not recognized. I tried to do an update of the parameters, but the accessory does not appear in the drop-down menus.

I learned by HP Technical Support that it is a Windows problem, but I can't quite believe that even Microsoft would come out an operating system does not recognize the material of the major manufacturer.

Is that what everyone knows about this problem? Is this really a Windows glitch?  If so, is there a workaround solution that will allow me to do automatic duplex printing?

In the e-mail to Bob, he said save the attachment as % temp%\hpo7x00t.gpd.  I don't know where to put this, and this is perhaps why the patch has not yet worked.

Can someone tell me with certainty where to save the file?

You just need to save the DPG file to a temporary location.  Folder is the location for temporary files of the system, it refers to a directory.  If for some reason it doesn't, you can do the following to the administrative command prompt:

    mkdir c:\temp

    [save the gpd c:\temp\hpo7x00t.gpd]

    then in the copy command:

    copy c:\temp\hpo7x00t.gpd c:

    Hi Karen,.

-What version of Windows is installed on the computer?

-What antivirus/firewall software you have installed on the computer?

You have tried most the steps mentioned in the document, but please try once more.

Additionally, make sure that you disable the antivirus and firewall programs just to make sure that these programs do not block the detected printer.

Hi guys, I have buy a new brand Laserjet and I plugged it in the center of storage of LenovoEZ USB to share the printer on the network.

Instead to recognise the Lenovo shows a 'shared device' as if the printer was a USB key with some drivers.

The printer is not recognized as a printing device, and I have all the Office on my neck.

    I'll wait your comments.

    Mariano

    Hi Mariano,

I recommend that you check with Lenovo,

As you mention, the printer is fully functional with your WIndows XP and 8.

There are different factors to conseeder on a print server.

It is the driver for the specific printer?

Support a printer based on the host as the M1132?

Lenovo may be able to provide a better response to those as being familiar with possible configurations and capabilities of the print server.

  • USB printer not recognized after Windows update

    OT: usb device not recognized

After that suddenly stop, reboot, done, the device is plugged in where the printer indicates that it does not recognize the device. I said abattissent unplug it and reconnect it and if it doesn't work me to replace... I re install the driver for the Hpdeskjet940c but nothing works...

    Hello grasshopper.

This problem may be caused mainly by broken printer drivers, this could have been caused when you installed the updates. I suggest that you start with a restoration of the system on the computer by choosing a restore point when it was working fine.

    a. Click Start, type system restore in the search box and then in the list click on the system restore program.

    b. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.

    d. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.

    e. click Finish.

You can see the following article for reference:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/features/system-restore

You can also try driver restore on the computer and check if it helps.

To roll back a driver in Windows send the driver to the version that was finally installed for the device. Restoring a driver is an easy way to return a driver for a working version when a driver update fails to fix a problem or maybe even a new problem.

    a. open the Device Manager. To do this, click Start, type device in the area Manager search and then click on Device Manager in the list programs.

    b. right click on the device for which the previous version of the driver is desired and then click Properties.

    c. click the tab drivers.

    d. click on Roll Back Driver.

    (PII removed)

    Hello Prabha,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

    1. Do you have an error message when it is not detected? If YES, what is the exact and complete error message that you receive?

I understand that the USB device is not detected by your computer. The question may arise if the currently loaded USB driver has become unstable or damaged or if your PC requires an update for problems that could conflict with a device USB and Windows. This can also occur if your USB controllers may have become unstable or corrupt. So, I would suggest trying the following steps and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

Please try the fixit (s) provided below which will help you solve common problems associated with devices and USB ports.

If method 1 does not work, try Method 2.

    Method 2:

Remove and reinstall all USB controllers.

    1. Open Manager devices by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click system and security, and then, under System, clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. In the list of the categories of equipment, locate and expand Bus USB controllers.
    3. Right-click every device under the Bus USB controllers node and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
    4. Restart the computer and let the USB controllers get reinstalled.
    5. Plug in the removable USB device and test to make sure that the problem is solved.

If the problem persists, go to method 3.

    Method 3:

Disable USB selective suspend framework. This method prevents your power off USB device.

    1. Click the Start button, type power management in the search box, and then click choose a power plan.
    2. Next to your currently selected plan, click Change Plan settings.
    3. Click change advanced power settings.
    4. Click in the box USBsettings, and then expand the USB selective suspend settings.
    5. Click on the area, and then click the menu drop down and select disabled.
    6. If you use a laptop, click the cell, and then click the menu drop down and select disabled.
    7. Click apply, and then click OK.

If your problem still exists, go to method 4.

    Method 4:

This method will install the latest drivers from device to your USB device.

    1. Click the Start button, type Windows Update in the search box, and then click Windows Update in the results pane.
    2. Click find updates. When the scan finished, click optional review updates.
    3. Click the check box next to the update, and then click install updates.
    4. If you are prompted, read the license agreement, then click I agree.
    5. Follow the instructions on the screen to download and install updates.
    6. If you are prompted, restart your computer.

More information: Update a hardware driver that is not working properly

If the device fails after updating the driver, you can try to roll back the driver with its previous version.

Restore a driver with its previous version

Hope this information is useful. If the problem still persists, please post back for further assistance, we will be happy to help you.

    Kind regards
