OfficeJet 4500 G510g stop printing

Hi and thanks for the support.

I have an OfficeJet g 4500510 who have worked up to now in a medium fantastci. But... Today, I made a simple printing B & W and surprise! Printer take the white sheet, the departure of power led to blink and stop! Nothing else! I did all the operations described in the support section of 32-bit Windows 7, without any positive result. I also did a factory reset (cancel + OK button), but nothing... I also tried to do a simple job with another computer, connected via the USB cable, but nothing yet... Thanks for the replies!

Unfortunally, it WAS jam more than a simple book, but something is located in the section software printer. So, I sent my printer to HP for one complete replacement by another... That's all...

  • OfficeJet 4500 g stopped printing black ink

    Hello

My problem is with a Hp Officejet 4500 g series all-in-one.

So I got a fax coming thru today and it spits out a blank page. I thought it was weird that he actually sent a white sheet through rather than give an error "ink", so I tried to make a copy to see what would happen... same thing, the white sheet.

I bought a new ink cartridge (black HP901) and installed IT... same thing, white paper.

    I have tried since:

    Restart the computer

Power off the printer and unplug all the cables

    Disk Cleanup

    System restore

Check all the printer preferences to ensure that none changed to something funky

    Printer cleaning cartridge

Support of HP running tool (says it all worked very well)

    Reinstalled drivers

    And nothing solves the problem.

I tried to contact support, but apperantly you can get online or telephone help you if you have a product that is old enough to not work, so I checked the forums and I see a lot of people say they have this exact problem with many HP printers of different model (including 4500 series). What no one seemed to have are answers that corrects the problem. At this point, my guess is that the solution to this is the same solution to most of the other problems HP which is not to buy HP products.

If somehow, someone has found a way to solve this problem, I'm guessing a lot out of me would love to hear how.

    Thank you.

The printer must align with success whenever a cartridge is changed until the color cartridge print correctly. To align the printer successfully?

If the printer produced before blank prints, it is possible the Tricolor flag and the black were empty. If only the black cartridge has been changed, the printer lacks color ink in the printer to perform a correct alignment.

Also check the steps described in the document, found herefor print quality problems.

    I hope this helps.

I'm having a problem that gets worse.  My OfficeJet 4500 G510g will not print a full page.  I have installed the latest updates, verified that it's the default printer, aligned the cartridges 2 or 3 times, cleaned the printheads of 2 or 3 times. but no success in getting it to print an entire page

    Hi @thrandall,

Thanks for getting back to me.

My suspicion was correct, there is a hardware problem with system of distribution of ink or cartridge.

  • Error while parsing - Officejet 4500 g510g-m

I have Officejet 4500 g510g-m connected by USB to a Toshiba laptop that is running Windows 7.

I got and error message "software HP is perhaps not able to scan the destination by default because the software is not available or does not work properly. When a scan of the printer is done using HP diagnostic every thing works fine if I get this error message.

Over time I got the impression that I uninstalled the printer several times and reinstalled, this time when I always get the error scan and sometimes an other error message with error numbers 8, reinstalled [(6,0,-2417319779)] tells me to reinstall the software.

I wonder if the problem with Windows updates. Between updates of Windows I can usually correct the error messages and the printer scanner works fine. This time, I can't solve the problem.

  • OfficeJet 4500 G510g-m it not install correctly

I have a printer all-in-one Officejet 4500 G510g-m. I tried to install & uninstall several times on A Dell 2.80 core dual processor

with 2.50 GB of memory. With Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. Every time he tells me that I can't open the cause of box tool, that it is not connected... Printer, scanner and fax will appear on the control panel. Then, I made a full recovery on my PC and tried to install it again.

It allows to print when you do a copy, page test and wordpad, but not from Windows photo gallery and will not let you check ink levels.

How can I uninstall this thing and get out all the old files and get my right rear register. Also, how can I get this printer to work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did a microsoft Fix - it for windows tools, I ran a Revo Uninstall, then I did a disk cleanup.

Then I reinstalled the drivers I downloaded from HP and the HP software. The complete program,

Version 13.0. restarted the pc and it would not always print from windows photo gallery, but eventually, I went and bought a 3 feet for the printer usb cable and everything works fine now. I knew that when you scan, you have to scan my documents and then print it. Thanks a lot for your help.

  • HP Officejet 4500 Wireless - cannot print

My HP Officejet 4500 will not print on my Windows 7. I tried to use the wireless feature, but it does not print, and when I connect the computer with the USB cable, it still does not print. I tried to restart the printer and the computer several times, and the only documents that will print come from Microscoft Word 2013. I'm constantly trying to print from Web sites online or in PDF format, but the status of these printers, error in reading or in progress.  My printer was working fine until my USB cable broke, but I replaced it and it still doesn't work properly. Is there something wrong my computer? Also, I have constantly removed my printer on my list of devices (Control Panel) and adding it again, but it still does not work properly.

Thank you very much for your help!

  • HP Officejet 4500 G510g-m: displacement of fax line dedicated to sharing with phone line.

I have a HP Officejet 4500 G510g-m all-in-One and Windows 7.  Never any problems.  In recent years, I have been fax from a dedicated line, separate from my regular telephone line.   I decided to save money and my phone line fax.  Other that simply move the fax line to a separate socket to the same wall jack as my phone and change the fax number box, is there anything else I should do?  I did not move the phone cord to a different port on the fax - should I?   I already ran a fax test and passed.

    Thanks for any info.

9/29 - I just had a friend try to fax to me.  The phone rang and rang even if I set to 2 rings.  It's never logged and sent a fax.

9/29 again - I have an answering machine.  I changed it to pick up to 4 fires and fax to pick up 6.  I had a friend try to fax, it has not been connected.    He received my faxesbut that I can't get any sound.

Looks like the problem may very well be Vonage. Since I msgd you I found 6 people with the same problem and none of them have been solved. I'll have to give up and return to the dedicated fax.

Thank you very much, Rich for all your help. It was a pleasure to work with you. It's just a pity that all your hard work has not solved the problem. But at least you know if someone else asks you for help with the same problem and they have Vonage, it's hopeless. Laughing out loud

    Bye!

Windows 8 - officejet 6000 - just stopped printing black-

put a new black cartridge in and now it will not print black - going to test the page and color printing - can hardly see black text on the test page - gray value - has always been - no other changes have had recourse to the same printer for a little over a year.  Only clean the print heads still no black printing.

    Hi rea123,

I understand that you have an Officejet 6000, which is currently not print black ink. I'm sorry to hear what is happening, but I will do my best to help you.

I suggest that you first look through this document for Troubleshooting print quality problems because it may be a few steps that you have not yet tried.  This document 'Print head problem' or "Print head seems to be missing or corrupt" Message appears on the computer has also a few steps to know how to clean the print head manually.

If all else fails, take a look at the Bob_Headrick station for soaking your printhead.

    Any help?

    Hello

The software for your printer is available through Apple Software update, and there is no installer available on HP.com. thjat means that use you a bad driver or a one that is not intended for Yosemite.

Remove incompatible software using Uninstall HP under Applications > Hewlett-Packard, then follow these steos to install the printer on your Mac:
