Photosmart C6150 analysis fails

A problem occurs when I try "Scan a picture" or "Scan a Document" from the HP Solution Center. The following error message is displayed.

An unexpected internal error has occurred. Click OK to close the program, and then try the following:
-Restart the program.
-Restart the PC and then try again.
-Reinstall the software photos & images and try again.

Restart the program leads to the same error. Restart the PC does not help.

I uninstalled the old software, downloaded and used "AIO_CDA_Full_Network_enu_NB.exe" to reinstall all software, including the Photo & Imaging software.

Finally got the HP Photosmart C6150 (C6100 series) to scan with the HP Solution Center!

The thing that is a released hotfix must apply despite the fact that the drivers I used were posted at a later date, 2009 07 / 04/2009.

The patch is under a link marked "Critical update to enhance reliability of network and USB connectivity and improve system responsiveness while printing" [2.0 - 25.29 M / 04/2009].

I applied the patch after installing 'HP Photosmart full feature software and drivers' [07-2009 080.001.225.001 - 159.25 M].

Both are available here:
http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?OS=2093&LC=en&DLC=en&cc=us&product=1153491&lang=en

While the works of scan (and again, it prints), I still have a slight problem with the function of the status of the HP Solution Center. I right click the icon HP Digital Imagaing monitor on the bottom right toolbar (need of the time display, cannot think that the toolbar is called), then select "HP Photosmart C6100 series-online status display. Which evokes the "HP Photosmart C6100 - status ' window, which indicates,"Series of HP Photosmart C6100 disconnected!". However, since this window, I click on "View ink levels" and get the information expected.

Interesting to note that from this response, there was 1 243 views of this thread, and all messages before 9 were by me. So I can talk to myself, but obviously many people are listening.

Scanning has been a problem on Windows 10.  If I try press scan on the printer that says "You must install or run HP software for this feature."  But the HP Solution Center does not work.  Something flashes on my screen, bumps and disappears before I can read it.  I downloaded the latest version of the 2610 software and drivers, but I don't see a software that will run the scan.  In the past, it was HP Solution Center, but I have seen references online to the HP Printer Wizard, but which does not appear to be part of the download.

I even downloaded HP Print and Scan doctor and he ran.  He has indicated that the scan function is working.  Soon after, the screen of the printer showed a message that the parsing failed.

So what software do I need to perform a scan, how I get it, and how to do the scan work?

    Jim Petrarca

First thing I tried was Windows Fax and Scan, and it worked.  Curiously however, some time after completing a successful analysis, printer showed the "Scanner failure" error and required me to restart to clear the error state.

Then I saw this update KB3133431 was waiting, so I installed.  It took a while, but when it finished I retried HP Solution Center - and this time it worked to take a scan.  The oddity reappeared here too, even though - a successful analysis followed the mistake of the printer "scanner failure".

I'm scratching my head about the weirdness, but at least now I can scan.

    Hello

By reading this document SCAN, I had this question.

    OK now.

Let's say that. I 2node default RAC has 3 listeners SCAN

Node 1 has 2 SCAN listeners and node 2.

If node 1 fails, then ANALYSIS listeners on that node fail over to node 2.

Node2 hosts now all three Auditors SCAN. When the 1 NŒUD returns 2 SCAN listeners will fail to node 1.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Your interpretation is correct...
In the case of 2-node rac system, having two scna listener running in a single node is the behavior expected and supported under normal circumstances. (because oracle is recommended to use 3 SCAN ips even if its 2 node rac).
And Yes when node 1 fails, then the resources of VIP SCAN and SCAN listener will failover to the rest of i.e node 2. And when node 2 is restored again, and then again VIP SCAN and SCAN listener will move to it.

Please see following the lines of > http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/clustering/overview/scan-129069.pdf
"In this case, a cluster nodes-2-is used (for which 3 IPs are always recommended for simplicity), a server in the.
cluster will host two sets of resource ANALYSIS in respect of normal operations. If the node running a VIP SCAN fails,
the VIP SCAN and its associated listener are failed over to another node in the cluster. If using such a failure of the
number of servers in the cluster becomes less than three, only one server will host still two sets of SCAN
resources. If a node is available again in the cluster, the formerly mentioned dispersion will be implemented and
    move a game accordingly. »

I recently changed the print cartridges in my HP photosmart 5510 and now black ink only prints on alternate line.  I tried to do an alignment, but he simply says 'alignment failed, press OK continue' (that's after printing of the alignment and then page analysis directs the printer).  The printer provides additional guidance to correct the problem.  I put the old cartiges impression back in and you printer continues to have the same error.  I only use genuine HP ink cartridges.

  • Photosmart Premium c309g fails to print - product number CD055A

Operating system - Windows 7 Home Premium - Hardware is a laptop

Error message - Document cannot print

Changes to the system - None until the problem occurred

Wireless printing worked very well; then suddenly unable to print.

    1. have uninstalled and installed the printer drivers and the solution Center

2 solution Center shows printer is connected

3 analysis function works correctly in scan mode

    4. the ink levels are displayed correctly

5 scan doctor indicates all functions work correctly

6 print in Photosmart Office on line Ethernet router to the printer

7 have you checked the network (domestic) IP addresses; Looks OK, also supported by the fact the remote scan document works

8 HP update indicates all functions of driver is up to date.

    9. tried to follow all the built in troubleshooting guides

But, when a test page prints in the properties of the printer or the Scan Doctor (even though the doctor scan gave all the controls green), the test page will not print, and finally the error "Unable to print document" appears in the solution Center. Process seems to timeout and then displays the error message.

During the process of re-setup the only thing that I have noticed and which may be out of the ordinary, was the printer to be selected was noted as "wired". The installation process then set up the wireless connection and noted that the all-in-one printer has been connected. But so do print function does not work and the remote scan function.

I see an another item which is strange. Two icons of the printer are set up in the printers and faxes. One is HP Photosmart Premium c309g and HPFDFC41 (HP Photosmart Premium c309g-m). Why two Photosmart devices?

Followed all the recommended steps. It is interesting to note that during the installation of the full feature printer was still noted as a wired connection. However, the network connection has been implemented and worked successfully.

Encountered the same problem. State of the document scan and ink has been authorized; but they could not print a test page.

A ran the doctor printer and Scan; all boxes have been checked green.

A run the hardware installation wizard. This time the S/W noted that the printer has a wireless connection. The analysis of test ran successfully; but the case of test printing, after several seconds, resulted in a 'document cannot print."  This seemed to be the idea or the "a needle in a haystack" for me, the error was apparently issued on a timeout.

Has looked for something else (outside drivers etc.).

    The solution:

McAfee firewall, after several years, it has failed and has chosen to block the printer communication, while leaving all the rest alone. I had not changed any settings or authorized programs.

McAfee is no longer with me. Am to assess competitors. In the meantime have enabled the Microsoft Firewall. Can print successfully from the laptop through the router to the wireless printer wireless.

I know just enough to get me in trouble, so don't know if HP diagnostic tools should have picked up the fact that communications were being blocked or not. But, I appreciate the comments and troubleshooting tips.

I hope that fixed the problem.

  • Transient analysis fails: Timestep too small

I use Multisim 10.1 to assemble logic gates of transistors for an undergrad Electrical engineering class. Part of the specification is that doors should drive a 1 or 8 pF capacitor at the output in the 1nsec voltage. (I think that the circuit, which I've made available is the version 8pF).

"Circuits work very well when I test for logical functionality with a frequency of input measured in seconds, but when I try to measure the time of release of a Ghz entry, the transient analysis invariably fails with a ' no time too small" error.

I looked through the site or all kinds of possible fixes (adjustment of the values of the relative and absolute error, etc...), but no luck.

for example, the project in question are: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4286123/callforhelp.zip

I would appreciate any advice, anyone can give me to help get the circuit able to run a transient analysis of higher frequency.

    Thank you!

    Brian Lojeck

    Student in EE, CSULB

    Hi Brian,.

I took a glance at your circuit and it seemed that your cmos_andx8_timing_test_circuit.ms10 file generates errors of convergence. I did the following two changes in the settings of your transient simulation and circuit simulated very well:

    1. Scan options > SPICE Options > Use Defaults Multisim
    2. Crawl settings > settings > no time maximum (TMAX) = 1e-13 s

As a general rule, you want to set the TMAX parameter to be substantially less than the smallest feature of your signal. In your case, the smaller is the rise in V1 (1ps) time. If possible, try to simulate with slower rise/fall times and slew rates. It is much easier for Multisim to converge semiconductor solutions if these settings were larger. I guess you do not have the luxury here, but if you were to just test the behavior of your circuit, it would be desirable.

    Hope that helped.

    Hello @fcb123,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I would like to help you today to solve the installation problem that you experience when you try to install your HP Photosmart Wireless all-in-One printer on your Windows XP computer. Can I please you follow the steps below to get this printer is installed and works properly for you.

Please unplug your USB cable from your computer or the printer before proceeding.

    Step 1: Uninstall the drivers:

Even if the installation does not complete, there is a chance that a part of the software package and the pilot has made its way on your computer. For the purposes of troubleshooting, it is important that we have a clean slate to work with. Therefore, I will you begin by ensuring that all traces of the printer has been removed from the computer.

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Select the programs (or all programs)
    3. Select the HP folder
    4. Select your Camera HP Photosmart
    5. Select Uninstall
    6. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the uninstallation.

Once the uninstall is complete, proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Check print server properties:

    1. click on the Start menu

    2. Select Control Panel

    3. Select Printers and faxes

    4. click on file and select Server properties

    5. click on the drivers tab. Click on your HP Photosmart and select delete. When prompted click on Remove only the driver. Click OK.

    6. click apply and then click OK and save the changes to driver.

    7. close the printers and faxes.

Step 3: Delete the temporary files:

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Select run
    3. In the Run dialog box, type %temp% , and then click OK
    4. In the Temp folder, click the first item in the folder. Hold down the shift on you keyboard. Get off a few lines and select another item in the folder. Everything between the two points that you selected while now shift will highlight now. Select the "delete" on your keyboard. Repeat these steps under the files in the Temp folder are deleted.
    5. The Temp folder contains the temporary internet files. None of the actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting Temp files. On Windows Vista, 7 and 8, if a Temp file is always si un fichier temp est toujours utilise used you can simply 'jump' the outdated and everything else will delete successfully. On Windows XP, it is not so easy. You must delete the Temp files into pieces. If a file is always used you will rise the pop is used and the "deletion" process is cancelled. Rate this file which is used and skip the next time you remove a piece. It is a tedious but necessary process for troubleshooting.
    6. Once the temporary files are removed close the Temp folder
    7. Right click on the recycling bin on your desktop and select empty recycling bin

    Step 4: MSCONFIG:

Even if you ensured that no other programs are running on your computer when you tried your installation, there are programs that run in the background. One of the background programs may be the cause of the facility to close. Therefore, I will have you temporarily disable all background programs running on your computer.

A program running on your computer can cause interference when you try to reinstall your wireless printer. I'm going to make sure that no program will cause problems, you temporarily turn off background programs on your computer.

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Click on run box and type msconfig and click OK
    3. When the System Configuration window opens, select "selective startup" and uncheck load startup items
    4. Click the Services tab, check the box at the bottom to hide all Microsoft Services
    5. Select disable all
    6. Select apply and OK
    7. Computer restart when prompted

    Step 5: install the Driver:

    1. Please click here to download the right driver
    2. Once the site opens click on the download button at the top left
    3. If you are prompted select run
    4. Once the download is complete, follow the instructions on the screen to install your printer
    5. Do not connect the USB cable until the installation program invites you to

Once the installation is complete, please test your machine to confirm that everything is working.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. Good luck!

  • Analysis fails, HP imaging device not found

    Photosmart B209a-m. Windows 7

I had this all together to the top and a power problem and sort of work broken installation. I have the printer as a wireless network device and it worked fine for months. After the power glitch, I uninstalled the printer and reinstalled and had no chance to get scanning to work. I downloaded the latest HP drivers (full version). I recycled power to the printer and the router and restarted the computer. The HP print and scan doctor said that the scanning driver can not talk to the printer. Printing works fine.

I originally had the printer hooked as a USB printer and then converted to wireless. So, I repeated the process. I installed as printer USB, everything worked. I then rebooted everything and retested and everything was good. So I ran the conversion from USB in wireless on the Setup option. It worked well, and after unplugging the USB cable, scanning still worked. Be!

But I then rebooted and now scanning fails again with the same error, cannot find the HP imaging device. Printing works fine. The network of diag test shows no problem. The HP Print and Scan doctor suggests I do the reboot and reinstall I just went through without result. I reinstalled the drivers 4 times without success, except when the first installation in USB and then converting to wireless but that was transient.

I don't know what I can do? In addition he keeps popping up of the error messages that is REALLY annoying.

I thought about it. He seems to have been a configuration of printer/router error affecting scanning.

The first time that I have configured the wireless printer, I have used the Wi - Fi Protected Setup between the printer and my Cisco/Linksys router and everything worked fine.

For that reconfigure, I let the printer installation software manage the negotiation and Setup. He passed all the tests and print worked fine but scanning does NOT.

I went in the touch panel printer and Wi - Fi protected setup initiated and supported on the Cisco configuration button. The printer and router negotiated and digitization of works. I shut down my computer and restarted it and scanning always works. I think this is now resolved.

It seems that drivers scanner use another method wireless printing.

I'm surprised/disappointed the HP print and scan doctor could not understand this. In addition, NOWHERE there at - it a suggestion to try to renegotiate the Wi - Fi Protected Setup between the printer and the router. Check the cables, recycling power, reinstalling drivers are all suggested, but nowhere is a step obvious allusion. I spent hours doing useless things and the real difficulty was simple and has taken every 1 minute.
