• Problem with Printer Color LaserJet 2600n of printing. Thin strips Magenta on the printed Pages

  I have a Color LaserJet 2600n, on which I replaced both magenta and yellow cartridges a week ago. Both cartridges are genuine HP. The printer cleaned and calibrated.

  Today, the thin magenta strips about 3 "apart began to appear on my printed pages. Print pages, but there is a 'click' stable, audible about 2 seconds apart from from the inside of the printer. Even after a cleaning several times, the bands are less bright, but they are still there. They also appear on the printed test page and on the page of troubleshooting print quality. Is there something wrong with this new magenta cartridge? This problem has never happened before in the 6 years, I've owned this printer.

  Is it possible to print from my laptop Pavilion dv7-2270 to my Color LaserJet 5500n printer?  There may be some type of adapter connector part HP or a third party.

  The laptop is running Windows 7, 64 bit.  It has four USB connections I normally use to connect to my portable printer Officejet 6310v.

  The printer normally uses the parallel cable Pinter that connects to the connector on the printer cable on the back of my desktop computer.  The printer has RJ45 data cable connector.  It also has a female 8 pin connector labled FIR.  I don't know if this printer has wireless capability.

  I've updated the maverick at yosemite. The last update for the printer software has been installed (version 3.0 on October 1, 2014). But both printers not working anymore.

  Color laser jet 3600n stops after 10% of printing with the PCL XL, subsystem kernel error, error: data, missing operator: sole source, post 14.

  With the OfficeJet Pro 8600, it is quite similar. The printer starts loadin page. After a few minutes the printer push the empty pages. In both cases the Mac lost the connection to the printer for a while. After a few minutes the connection is established.

  The system is OSX Yosemite 10.10

  A response in the German forum was helpful:

  • reset the printing system
  • Reinstall the printer HP (HPPrintDriver3.0.dmg) update
  • restore volume access rights,
  • Restart the system and
  • Reinstall the printers

  After that, the two printers works previous.

  The project is in an unexpected place: right click on the Color Laserjet 1600, printing preferences, and then click the finishing tab and put under print quality.

  You can choose printing in levels of gray option to print color in black and gray. This option allows to print color photocopy or fax documents. You can also use this option to print copies of the draft or to save the color toner.

  Paper jam in my printer.  After graduating page printing, the printer has always said that there is a jam.  I tried turning off the power, unplug, open to all possible places to see if I missed something.

  It is likely that there is always a small torn out of paper that still arouses a jam.

  If you can't find it, it would be possible to help erase using a sheet of paper more rigid in the relevant paper tray.

  We have a printer Color Laserjet 4550 DN we need to dispose of it. We want to assure you that there is no hard drive, which must be erased or destroyed for security reasons, until we get rid of it.

  Only the hdn model came with a hard drive.  You can tell if you a looking at the back where you have run the cable to the computer or the network.  On this board there called EIO housing.  One is used for the network card and if you have a hard drive, there will be another card inserted in the slot EIO others which I do not think that you will have.  If there is another card just loosen the two screws and remove it.

  I already looked to the top of the page of Software Support for this printer, but new and recent firmware update is not released/listed, only the firmware upgrade market is given.

  I'd appreciate advice and instructions on how to return/repair my printer no longer print.

  According to the other thread that I have commented on the user managed to solve the problem of roll back firmware version 20160331 to 20150716 .  Unfortunetly the user did not comment if the old version of firmware is out so that we can share a simlilar solution.  It may be that this person had a copy archived in offline mode or found another source outside the HP support Web site.

  At least you can get an older version of firmware all the steps that we share for the firmware downgrade won't do you no good.  I'd be careful to search a German site for firmware updates.  HP has put regional locks in place according to international contracts, that they do to market their products in a given region.  Using a German firmware on a printer WE made may have strange side effects on what types of cartridges are allowed.

  What is perhaps a better use of your time would be to contact your 3rd party cartridge company and see if they can send you a cartridge that is compatible with the new firmware.  Chances are that they have seen the same problem with other users and already have a chipset to work around the problem.  In this way, you can stay on the newest firmware and continue to use your favorite too cartridges.

  The printer Color LaserJet Pro M252n does not have a double-sided hardware unit, so that you can used perform manual duplex printing (assuming that the printer driver supports this), not the automatic duplex printing.

  The model M252dw has a double-sided hardware unit.

It's the most frustrating experience, and I hesitate to buy another product from HP because of THIS BAD EXPERIENCE.  When under warranty, I was able to contact HP and received information on how to get the printer either fully functional, I can't do now.  Does anyone know how to get this function to work?   Thank you! I just had to disable manual duplex printing and my printer (2025dn) now prints on both sides of the paper.

  I have a Color Laserjet 2605dn, and all of the color ink cartridges have run dry. However the black cartridge has more than 2,000 pages of ink in the printer and it won't let me prink only black and white. It seems that the color cartridges must also have ink in them so that the printer to print. Does anyone know a work around so that I can print with the black cartridge and not buy color cartridges?

  Had the printer listed above for several years and love it.  Have just started having problems with the printer does not print not not in color.  Have a recorded document that needs to be printed every month and have had no problems with it, until yesterday when it is printed in black only.  Another document word also printed in black only.  I printed a test page printed correctly.

  Don't know if there is a definition in the document, or is it a printer problem.  Help!
