Problem with ink

I have problems to print color photos, it prints lines through my pictures and shows only a small spot of color

It sounds like the print heads need cleaning. Take a look at this what utility provided with the printer. The printheads might also need alignment.

I assume you have checked that there is ink in the ink cartridges.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8620: problem with ink

Hello. I have nothing else to the HP printers used in my life using the computer - more than 25 years! I bought a new Officejet Pro 8620 2 years. I also bought cartridges refilled at the same time as my father died and I would need to use the printer a lot. Unfortunately, I bought ink another 3 times for this printer, when printing somewhere near 100 pages ALTOGETHER since the purchase. Problem is the printer keeps saying cartridge is not HP and damaged - should replace the HP cartridges. I've NEVER had a problem before using reloaded cartridges. Why change now? Am very close to get back to using my old computer Win XP and more old HP all-in-one printer. I have 3, and none of them has NEVER given any problems.

Looking for help on this. Have always had confidence in HP before - don't want to lose that now. Last cartridges were new HP, but still having the same problems. Suppliers of ink have been highly evaluated with excellent reviews. Warranty expired a year ago. Haven't had extended warranty because, as I said, never had a problem with HP printers to more than 25 years.

In addition, cellular internet very limited - and not (!) reliable. 50 miles of the city.

Yes, I learned a LOT over the weekend. First of all, I ordered a few inkplicity.com ink. Am curious about their ink, with their 1 year warranty. Shortly after ordering, I contacted Fuzoo, who then asked me to photograph both sides of the chip. I had no idea of the chip was removable. And actually, I see on the YoYoInk cartridges that the chip is glued in place. Then, I saw a few chips ink auto reset for sale online. And then began to find a lot of links and messages and articles on the chips of HP and the problems associated with them. Like my old printers were about 2000 or so, I had never met the problems associated with the current chips.

Now, Fuzoo has graciously agreed to replace not only the Magenta faulty cartridge (which has their 'old' piece), but will send a full order before, which was black (2) and a set of color inks. Can't get much better than this! So it would seem that I'm no longer need an explanation of why this happens - it's all about HP and their need to force their customers (who FREELY CHOOSE to buy their printers) in the purchase of HP ONLY cartridges.

It is a free country that is stuffed with capitalism. You'd be hard-pressed to get into any grocery store and NO search of generic items just alongside their counterparts in brand and usually for less money. You have car trouble? Generic (non - OEM) parts are available, as well as a lot of rooms refurbished. HP should remember their place in the grand scheme of things, or they will go the way of many other electronics companies. Trying to force customers to pay more for ink is bad. ... So this would increase the cost of the printers in the first place? Yes, probably. I was always ready to buy quality products when I could afford to, and HP printers had always been reliable but also easy to use. With this printer, I swore to the dang thing a lot more that I used it.

Please, ch, make the message and ease up trying to railroad customers. Even us loyal customers for a long time "' will leave! Don't forget, we are customers of HP by "choice"!

Problem is now solved. Thank you all for your comments!

  • Help! Problem with ink cartridge compatibility Photosmart C4383 in my current position

Need your help! I bought my printer in the Middle East almost 2 years already Photosmart C4383 with ink cartridges 140 (black) & 141 (tricolor).  Since then, I have in my country now, resides in the Philippines and I always use the printer.  This week, I already have run out of ink Supply and decided to buy a.  Since then, I bought the printer in another country, I decided to check the site to ensure the compatibility of ink cartridges.  The results stated that the Photosmart C4383 belongs to the Photosmart C4380 series and it also says here that HP74 (black) & HP75 (HABs) are the compatible cartridges for the printer in my area.  Since then, I always have the tricolor ink cartridge available 141, I decided to buy only the HP74 (black) ink cartridge.  But when I place the HP74 (black) ink cartridge for my printer, I was surprised to see in the display as the ink cartridge, I bought is not compatible with the printer. I was so disappointed because if I can't use the product then I lose money and and check again and again in the sights of compatibility of ink in my area said but still the same thing as HP74 (black) is the compatible ink cartridge and also saw a result stating to "reset the printer to work in my current position."  Need your help to enlighten me and give me the right solutions to these problems and the steps how to make good sense.   I need to use my printer so badly. Thank you.

You will need to Contact HP and require a reset of regionalization.  It will take you have access to your computer and printer so that on the phone with HP agent.  If the C4383 is a model only sold in some regions it is not possible to have the region reset.

  • Problem with ink from the printer (maybe)

    Hello.

Recently, I have a problem when printing it looks that the ink is spread over the page.

It's as if she's not well dry.

Is there an easy fix for this? The ink is old? It is possible because of something else? It's very cold outside, (-20 degrees celsius), but the printer is inside.
I know the spray paint can be affected when it is that cold.

(Also this incredible security gate, I had to pass through to try to get help was a pain in the *.) My shoe size is 42, btw.)

Since it is a color printer, the colors also coat with just black. If only the black, then I would lean towards the black toner cartridge. If all the colors of defamation, then the fuser unit is probably the issue.

  • HP Deskjet 3525 problem with ink 364 - misleading information

I bought a 364 original ink. 364 ink because after the installation of the printer in my operating system, I have 'HP Deskjet 3520 series' printer and printer software is identify him as 3520 series printer.
Keeping in mind, I bought 364 ink for printer 3520 but this ink is identified as "wrong cartridge", after a detailed study that I discovered that on the underside of the printer I have small label it information that my printer is model 3525, after further investigation seems to think I need different types of INK.
OFC I can't replace already open ink to the place where I bought it.
FYI same driver for printer 3525 3520 name.

Question: Is there a way to activate 364 ink in my printer 3525? or the only way is to buy another INK (655)

    Hello

    Thanks for the reply.

    I've checked everything.

    Take a look in SureSupply

We have inks compatible 364 for

    E-all-in-one printers HP Deskjet 3520

E-all-in-one printer, HP Deskjet 3522 range

E-all-in-one printer, HP Deskjet 3524 range

    E-all-in-one printers HP Deskjet 3526

    But for

E-all-in-one printer, HP Deskjet 3525 range

655 only is good - nothing else.

I already called my supplier (distributor of original INK) and I am unable to replace my ink (because I opened a black), and I was forced to spent another $ 50 (150 PLN - price in Poland) for the new manuscript.

I was advised to sell it on ebay .

In Poland, life is hard, but HP is making it easier with its policy of ink.

    Good day.

I have a HP Officejet 6600, and I get this message:

"There is a problem with the printer or ink system.  Turn the printer off, then on.  If the problem persists, contact HP. »

Well, I did it.  I have also run the hardware diagnostic tool, which had me unplug the printer and turn it back on, and I did it a couple of times.  I always get the error message.  I also took printhead of the printer and put back them in.  Does anyone have a solution that might be able to share with me for this problem?

    Thank you

My problem was solved by the link in the first reaction after my post. I tried power downs and plug the tire, but following this post EXACTLY... worked. The method of pulling on the power cord of the printer with it cleared the error message and everything has worked perfectly since

  • ERROR MESSAGE HP6700 - PROBLEM WITH THE PRINTER OR INK SYSTEM CONTACT HP

I JUST BOUGHT A HP OFFICEJET 6700 (LESS THAN 1 WEEK), THE PROBLEM OF PRINTER OR INK SYSTEM MESSAGE, TURN PRINTER OFF THEN WE IF THE PROBLEM CONTINUES CONTACT HP. IS DISPLAYED ON THE PRINTER SCREEN. I DID EVERYTHING SUGGESTED, AND MORE MORE, BUT THIS CUSTOM MESSAGE CLEARLY.  ALL DIAGNOSES OF THE PRINTER THE PRINTER IS FINE.  THE OPERATING SYSTEM IS WINDOWS 7.

    Mahamoud,
Your article made a walkthrough basic troubleshooting, ending with the question if the print head is repairable. Because it is not on the 6700, the article isn't really the problem.

Here is the solution I found to this problem:
I discovered that eliminating all ink cartridges allows the printer at startup (although there is a message saying the missing print cartridges).
Putting the cartridges in a binary regression revealed that the ink has been bad. (In my case, I only got the message of failure/printer ink when the yellow cartridge was in the printer).
Replacement of the restored cartridge the printer functionality.
    That's the good news.
Now the bad news: for HP.
The generic error message indicates a failure with the printer or the ink system. No differentiation. With the electronics in the cartridges (that the client pays a high price for), looks that HP could not understand how to indicate a cartridge problem. This error message is not only unnecessary, but misleading. The printer indicates only a power reset and then contact HP. There is no indication that he might be a cartridge problem, not to mention what cartridge has failed. By the way, my customer encountered this problem when you replace the color cartridges. The cartridge failed was a new replacement.
All of the web enabled features, fax, scanning features, print included with this printer are not very useful if the user can't get the dang thing to print.
Another problem with this printer, is that, even when you only print in b & W, the printer uses little color (ostensibly make Blacks more "BOLD"). Then, finally, a color cartridge will go low or empty, even if only B & W printing. And guess what, you can't continue to print n & B if one of the color cartridges are out of ink. Thus, HP... How is this useful printer in an office environment, where most print tends to be B & W?

(I would add; the solution in the message of failure/printer ink cartridge cannot fix your problem if, in fact, there are a few default printer. But if the problem is in the ink system, then the troubleshooting cartridge can help you).
I have posted similar comments on Amazon, for this printer, in the subject line: shame on you, HP.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600: message "problem with the printer or ink system.

I replaced the magenta cartridge with a new cartridge genuine HP (end of warranty 2017/01), but now get a message "problem with the printer or the ink system.

If I restore the old cartridge I get the message that it is empty, but all the other options of the printer are available.

Online support does not give me any result of solution but suspect there may be a manufacturing error in the new cartridge.

Does anyone else have this problem or advice?

  • Photosmart plus 209: problem with compatible ink cartridge after moving to France UNITED Arab Emirates

I have a Photosmart B209 more and you just moved from the Arab Emirates UNITED to the France. In the style of France the 178 HP, designed for that printer ink cartridge is not available, and it seems that the cartridge HP 364 in France is the same size and adapts to the machine but wil lnot work. I get a message on the printer saying incompatible cartridge. I saw a post about this problem with instructions to contact HP and get a kind of rearmament of the country. I wasn't able to do that. Can someone help with this problem?

You will need to Contact HP to ask a "regionalization Reset." Do not charge for this, it is covered under the warranty of the cartridge. You will need to have access to your computer and printer then on line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once completed reset cartridges of region of origin no longer works.  Webpage of HP on the subject is here.
