SX20 camera mounting bracket

Is the support that comes with the SX20 is available in a separate part, if a customer has lost their?  It's one that uses only adhesives/velcro to mount to the rear & top of the screen directly.

I can't find a part number for what it isn't.  If anyone can help with a p/n?

Thank you.

See, camera-support-cisco-intp-c40, the part number is BRKT-PHD-MONITOR.

  • SX20 camera not recognized

Our telepresence PrecisionHDMC 2.5 x camera is no longer recognized by the SX20.

The camera itself shows a blinking white light and it seems to be stuck trying to adjust. He clicks on 8 or 9 times, waiting a second or two, then on again. The electronic web, diagnosis show the camera like:

    ERROR: Selected input Source video

No video signal received on the configured video source (video HDMI [1] 'Caméra')

    The logs show:

The version of the software is the recommended and running systemtools camerarescue makes no difference... There is another thing to try to fix the camera?

If the camera is just clicking and don't move does not correctly, it is likely that the camera has stuck, either accidentally, or by a person moving by hand for the CMV align properly inside.

You could try rotating the camera manually to try to get back on the track, or you could do a RMA number on the device through the TAC.

  • SX20 camera usb connection / why no support for C40, C60, C90?

Hi, I noticed that the versionTC6.2.0 of running of Cisco SX20 software now supports usb cameras. It looks like the UVC device drivers are loaded with the sx20.

I tested with HD Precision USB camera and it worked fine. (Mainvideo source: 3).

I was not able to find information about this new feature in the release notes, so I think it's not official yet?

I noticed that with TC 6.2.0 C40 does not have the same option available. The support is coming for C-series together?

This feature might be useful when you need a second temporary camera or jumps to the main camera.

  • One camera, mounted in first?

I'm kind new to using first, but need to edit several productions which I shot "camera" (i.e. the multiple takes of the same script using a camera).

Is there a specific mode for single camera production editing first? I searched online and can't find any information on this at all.

For example, it would be ideal if I could see that all of the split screen images and mark on the places where I wanted the action to jump to another point in another video.

The only way I can think to do is manually start cut to the top of the video, and that seems to be a very awkward and tedious way of working.

How the professionals do it that wonder?

Several takes on a single camera is normal and standard workflow professionally.

Many ways to skin the cat, but one of the ways is to spend all your takes and choose the best of them - they are called selects. Check it or add a description in the project locations

Start to edit your script working with your BEST SELECT in the Source monitor. > Defined in and out Points > insert or overlay to the sequence.

Tip - nothing wrong with pen and paper or marking to the top of your script to edit notes and take numbers.

Tip - edition is always easier if it is expected that during the shooting. for example slate, notes continuity, script, technical considerations...

Work as part of your script until you have a scene running (ie. your selects in sequence)

Return to each edit point and start sharpening (crunch, setting) modify it using various available finishing tools.

Some editing from there techniques depend on how and what has been shot.  for example, punch of master, Mid, Close Up, Cut aways, Angles etc...

You can use 2 or 3 different video layers to take replacing tryout or cut aways.  -Tip:-upper layers are not taking on the lower layers.

  • HP ENVY Phoenix 860-008na: removal of the bracket for graphics card?

    system specifications are,

    Intel Core i7 6700 Skylake @3. 4 Ghz to 4 Ghz

    16 GB DDR4 RAM

2 TB HDD & 128 GB SSD storage

    GTX980Ti 6 GB GDDR5 NVIDIA

    Windows 10

just wondering if its ok to remove the mounting bracket that is attached to the graphics card to get the best air circulation

is it right in place for shipping?

    Thank you

    Hi there @junior19805,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!  I understand that you ask a withdrawal of the graphics card of mounting brackets for better circulation of air.  I'm happy to help you with this.

There are a few problems with this. First support firmly maintains the card in place in its decision to maintain a good connection and prevent the flow of the socket. Second, although it may seem intuitive abduction, counter to the back plate of the computer can actually hinder the cooling system, as the positioning of various fans and admission of eaves, are often designed to channel air flow, so it travels on the components that most need cooling.

All that being said, you can always try it and see if there is an improvement in your case, but the possibility of a graphic intermittent connection is going to be a matter of concern

Please let me know if it works for you and if it does not solve your problem, please mark this message as a solution. Bravo would be appreciated as well.

  • sad Mount of iMac 2009

    Hi all.

Wanted to change the hard drive and installed a 1 TB Samsung EVO, watching the videos looks a little difficult, but changed to an SSD in my macbook pro 2.   However, a few steps more during the change of an SSD in an iMac.

I have an iMac late 2009 model.  The videos show that a mounting bracket is required for the SSD, because it is smaller than the original drive.  I have searched for a mounting bracket, but fails.   The tech told me that it must adapt and support is not necessary.  I don't want to open my iMac and then know that I need a support.

Can someone let me know if a support is necessary or the Samsung SSD will fit without support.

    Thank you so much everyone.

I'd say you check/contact this site: OWC (macsales.com) - they are Mac centric; You can also watch videos to install on their site:

    http://eShop.MacSales.com/installvideos/imac_late_2009/

I would also like to look here Samsung SSD (seem to have problems) and their site for SSDS.

  • HP Pavilion 22cwa: HP CVB100 VESA Mount fit Kit (L6V75AA) Please? I need this card so can't find it!

I also need this part. I don't know why I can't find anywhere to buy. HP customer care is also still distraught, and they kind of made me look like an idiot. As what I bought was not a true product of HP? Can someone please?

    Hi @rsondrup,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that you are looking for a mounting bracket for your screen. I am pleased help you.

First a little moral supports. I found this HP page, so that you are not alone in the desert.

HP CVB100 VESA Mount fit Kit (L6V75AA)

Unfortunately, when I looked for this item using the HP parts storeand HP PartSurfer and also sought to your screen (using the T4Q59AA part number), this part does not appear as an option. For me, it would mean that the support has been discontinued. The only thing I can suggest with this in mind is to check dealers that perhaps someone has still in stock.

I realize it's not the answer you want to hear, but it may still be available there.

  • When shooting video, it is necessary to turn off Steadyshot when the camera is on a tripod?

When shooting video with a NEX - 5n, 6 or 7 on a tripod, it is necessary to disable the Steadyshot in the menu, or is the camera supposed to sense that she is on a tripod (like the small Sony Hv9x)? I ask because sometimes my video tripod with these cameras mounted seems to have a slight pulsation or flutter, I can't explain.

The SteadyShot function does not serve a purpose, while the camera is mounted on a tripod. Given that the tripod is stationary when you take a picture, there is no excessive movement to the camera. It is not necessary to use the SteadyShot function in this situation.

Sometimes involuntary blur can occur when you use SteadyShot, while the camera is on a tripod.
