  I would also like to bring to your notice that I have a bis plan on my device, active, but after upgrading my app world or native applications do not work on bis but wifi. Strange! Now the question is why would the upgrade of a simple bone cause me so many problems. I upgraded my phone several times since I bought it. I'm not aware immediately, but when I use the unit 3 hours later for example the battery is almost all gone and the unit is warmer than usual. Please not that it is warmer, but at a level acceptable, just as if it had been used during this period of time, not overheating. I charge the unit and check the activity monitor application and the CPU was mainly used by the... Idle CPU. The part of the device that heats is not the battery, but the device itself. It is rather annoying because I don't know when it will happen again. The only email account, I have installed is a Hotmail account and it goes as well with wifi on and outside.   I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

  (1) registry HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  (2) remove and return Service directories

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  (3) restart to take batt

  Based on your description, I would recommend a full reload of the operating system. The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

  (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

  2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

  (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

  (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

  • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

  5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

  • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
  • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

  6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

  6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

  • Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC.

  If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

  Hello need help. My Blackberry Curve 8520 (OS 5.0.0.1036) does not connect to the server. It shows my network (Vodafone) and gets a strong signal; makes and receives calls; connect wifi; but it is also completely static. After the first Setup email screen I get: your device has a connection to the server problm.  (I think it means the Blackberry server?)  So I can not connect any email.  Very well in my other near-identical Curve 8520 Sim Card work.  How can I do please?  Y at - it a reset or software update is complete I can undertake?   I can help you with the it policy... lack of procedure for access to the BES server, this (and only this) cleanse a BB to an it policy:

  If you do a backup/restore, don't do this basically... rather, backup/restore only the databases specific you need (for example, calendar, contacts, messages, etc.) and more precisely to avoid data bases having something to with COMPUTER policy, business, etc.. If you restore those, the it policy will be conscientiously restored to the device, and you will be right where you are now.

  As for a BES Server trying to reach out... There is nothing that I can offer you. Your best bet is to talk to your provider and make sure you have no BES-level service enabled on your account of them. Who should (note 'should'... is there no guarantees) prevent a BES server to reach out and the reactivation of your device.

  Hello today I install both my Hotmail & Gmail on my BB Bold 9780 accounts. I received the confirmation emails "Activation on the server" in the two accounts on my BB so I assumed that everything has been done successfully. Fake! Hotmail works very well. I am able to send & receive the BB with no problems & receive emails in both my Inbox via hotmail.com & on my BB. However, the Gmail account, is another story. I am able to send using the my BB Gmail account & I get in my Inbox via gmail.com only! I sent emails at random my gmail.com Inbox just like a test & still only received in the Inbox via gmail.com & not on my BB. I don't know why were there to Gmail security changes that can cause this problem? Any help would be appreciated as my Gmail account is my main account for business related emails so I always need to be connected. Thank you.

  1 - first record your PDA to your network.

  2 send your Service book

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Wait until you receive the registration for each email message on your message box

  3. and then do a restart of battery like that pull while the device is powered on remove your battery wait for a min. then reinsert back

  Try it and tell us.

  I installed BlackBerry Desktop Software 7.1 (twice from different sources) on my Windows 10 PC.

  1. after starting, I always get the request to connect the BlackBerry smartphone. I did with a USB cable, the application does not disappear.

  The other appears only if your carrier has eliminated an update wireless for you. You say that it is the "best way" for you... I would add that this is the MOST DANGEROUS way.
