With WRT100 printer problems

I just got a WRT110 to replace the aging router Netgear wireless and wired. Everything worked perfectly right out of the box except my network printer. I have an HP 1022n, connected to the router by Ethernet, which worked perfectly with the old router. With the new WRT110, the blue port is on regularly, but the printer does not appear in the LELA network map does not appear on my DHCP table and cannot be found or when I try to add with XP Add Printer routine, using the installation disk that came with the printer or the Printer Wizard Hello.

I am runing a firewall Zone Alarm Pro and off, but still do not see the printer. No other firewall. And just to add to the frustration, the printer works fine if I put the old router back into the network, or connect directly to my computer with a USB cable.

Technical support could not find anything in an hour - more online and finally had reinstall me the firmware and configure the router again, which did not help - I don't have much hair left to offset! Any suggestions?

IP address of your printer is configured to not the Linksys netgear.  Change your static IP address to match the settings of your router.

  • PES 9 printing with Epson printer problem

    Hello

    I use PSE 9 with Windows XP and printer Epson 3880. I have re-installed all the programs/drivers a couple of times. Dialogue of PSE9 printer don't print choose "let Photoshop manage color".  He let me only print with "Let printer manage color."  I am using Epson papers.

    When I select 'Let Photoshop manage color', a box appears saying "ICC profile is no longer available" and it won't let me print.  Is it a problem of PES 9 or Epson problem?

    Well, I actually found the answer. I spoke to a representative of Epson!

    I used to have the Epson 2200 printer, then the Epson 3800 printer, and now I use the 3880 printer under Windows XP and Windows 7 on my laptop.

    When you uninstall the other 2 printers, color profiles are still in your program files and can be damaged.

    That's why, in PSE 9, when I checked the box let elements Photoshop manage colors, it woildn can't print and instead it was the pop-up box "ICC profile is no longer available" because he was trying to access the old paper profiles and not those who came with the 3880. I uses paper Epson, is told by the way.

    The solution was to go into the drive C, Program Files, System 32, spool, drivers, color, and opens to the ICC profiles used by the printer. Then I deleted the old paper profiles associated with my older printers.

    And it worked!

  • Compatibility with PDF printer problem?

    I have a PDF document someone created with InDesign CS3 5.0.4.  It opens in Reader 9.1.3 and prints perfectly on some newer printers.  However on older printers at the bottom of the paper is cut in preview before printing and the actual print on paper.  Both printers are HP and I spent a few hours chatting with the Technical Support of HP tent of new drivers, etc.  Their conclusion was that it is caused by an older insoluble problem between the printer and the PDF.  They have, of course, said I would need to buy new printers even if they are not that old and works fine for everything else.

    So far the matter has developed in the other three offices. There must be one better solution other than to throw money at it.

    I have never used InDesign and wonder if there might be some settings used when creating PDF in InDesign or Acrobat that can solve the problem.  The form must be printed exactly as planned, so shrink to fit is not an option.

  • Printing of envelopes with MX920 printer problems

    With the help of MX920 printer with Windows 7 op, mail merge in Microsoft Word document system (linked to the Excel list).  He printed the first envelope very well, and then minutes later after the update the document, I was unable to print more! Support Code 1008; says no paper in the cassette (bottom), which is not true - it's where the envelopes are loaded.  I tried several times to create a document more; has examined all the instructions for printing the envelopes with the 920 (several times) and monitoring them carefully; tried to decrease the number of envelopes in the stack less than 10; has declined to only an envelope; turn the computer off and on again; turn off the printer and turn it back on. nothing worked!

    Please help; I lost a lot of time on it; very frustrating! I can't find any useful messages.

    Just curious - I lose toner whenever the printer goes through its warm up movements? If so, I lost a little!

    Just solved my problem! A misunderstood the instructions; I didn't put the envelope against the wall of the BACK of the cassette.

    My MacBook using mac OS 10.5.8 and I am trying to print with an HP Photosmart C309g-m. I have been through the help files and tried all the solutions listed without result.     We will restore the print system:

    Display uppercase is considered shouting & your message is difficult to read and can be ignored by many.

    Say the HP support? Often with an HP printer, the solution the easiest is to unplug the printer, uninstall the HP printer via Add/Remove, runDisk cleaning software and restart. Then download/install latest drivers/software from HP and only connect the printer when the installation says.

    Of course its possible allways the printer failed.

    To get help, I'll need to know:

    1. If the printer is connected, USB, Ethernet, or wireless.
    2. If the power cable is connected to a surge protector, or directly to a wall outlet. Questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power. This is true for printers and ink jet.

  • HP 5610 all-in-one printer: printing problems from the internet

    my printer Hp 5610 all in one printer don't print properly on the internet, bold text is readable, any type is barely legible, and in some cases, unreadable. I have downloaded and run the hp print and scan doctor and followed touble shooting recommended changing usb ports and a different cable that has not solved the problem. The drivers have been updated and installed. The printer works well when you print files. I also changed ethernet cable which had no effect. I deleted and reinstalled the printer several times and still no results. I noticed this problem in the forums with different printers and systems, but I have seen no resolution for any of them. I'm open to suggestions to solve this problem.

    I see that you experience printing problems when you print from the Internet, with your HP Officejet 5610 on Windows Vista. I'm happy to help you with this printing problem!

    A few questions for you, if you don't mind:

    • What is the name of the web browser that you use to print from?
    • What happens when you print from Notepad? You get the same quality print or better?

    In the meantime, I suggest go through this guide, Faded or dull in print colors. Also, I would suggest trying to print from another web browser. Such as: Firefoxor Google Chrome, etc.

  • How can I change the word "error" to "ready" on my connection with my printer so that I can print?

    Printer is HP Photosmart C5100 series, I had only 1 printer who kept showing the error instead of loan so I added 2 additional printers and I have the same problem with all of them.

    Ink is correct and the 3 are to be online.  It was printing fine about 2 weeks ago.

    It has happened, then began to work properly - I don't know why it started working right but I can't print.  It will display 'ready' if I send it to a single Note, but I need to print immediately.

    The printer prints a copy of something if you ask on the menu screen and use which is on the printer itself.

  • small problem with the printer dialog box

    I recently added a Brother printer to my IMac and ran into a minor problem.  When I put in place using my WiFi and AirPrint, the dialog box has a convenient box for the black and white that I was able to check in one easy-to-replace step and just print in color.  However, the alarm time and the answer is a bit slow.  So, I then plugged a cable and add this version of the printer.  Now the box is missing and nothing I've been able to do, to delete and add new printer allowed me to bring that?  Any ideas on how I can get this feature practice appears in the dialog box with the printer connected to the cable?  Thank you.

    If I understand correctly, you have now two entries separated for this printer to Print & Scan? It's OK, although AirPrint is better for various reasons.

    I understand the printer takes an unacceptable amount of time to wake up to when choosing the AirPrint printer, and you want to avoid this.

    If you have added a separate entrance - one for the USB printer connected - how who you? Did you leave the print & Scan install this printer automatically on its own, or did you download and install a driver of brother separately?

    I have a HP Officejet Pro 8600 + which is coming up with an error message. This just happened out of the Blue yesterday. The printer is a little older than a year.

    It seems to be a bad printhead, or it needs manually cleaned with water and lint. If these steps do not resolve the problem, contact HP (1800-474-6836) support.
