• Palm TX turns off when disconnected.

  Recently moved and unpacked and recharged palm tx by usb and connect it to the output.  Works very well so that hip.  Has not added any new software.  When unplugged immediately turns off and only turns on when plugged into the socket again and the soft reset.  Tried soft reset several times and just tried a hard game.  There is no change.  The device has 4 years but otherwise works well with no damage.  Not sure if this is a battery thing, which means that I would have to dispose of the unit or something else.  Was working fine 1 month yet.  Really need it to work in the short term.  Any suggestions would be a great help.

  Hi, I recently picked up the upgrade of Windows 10 and since then have had problems with the laptop switching power, do not know if it is related to Windows 10 but seems a coincidence!  When I got close I use the power on the screen completely closes the button and the laptop.  When I turn it on it's ok, if I have the AC cable disconnected (i.e. using battery power) but if I have the AC cable the screen goes off, but then goes black and seems to have turned off again, and I have to press the power button to put on the.  Also, if I connect the cable so that the laptop is on it goes black immediately, and if I delete it the screen comes alive again.  Can someone tell me what's going on that I have no idea about these things, and it makes me absolutely crazy!  I would really appreciate some advice please.

  I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your laptop 15-r011na HP TouchSmart and the laptop turns off when it is attached cable ca. Here is a link to test and calibrate your battery for Windows 10.

  Note Remove all USB devices. Disconnect all devices of non-essential, as these can cause some problems.

  Plug the power supply directly into a different wall outlet. Do not connect it a power strip, surge arrester, or secondary power source as this could cause and issue.

  You can try to use the Windows Update Troubleshooter to fix updates that do not come through Windows 10.  Please restart the laptop twice to make sure that all updates are completed!

  Here is a document that shows how update the drivers that do not work correctly with Windows 10.

• HP PSC1410 'off' when it is 'on '.

  The printer is connected to a Samsung laptop by usb port. He has been erratic for a week, sometimes black printing OK, sometimes in red, when black is the color required.

  Today, I tried to solve the problems but could not make it past the obvious fact that the printer has been turned off, when he was on. I tried to disconnect and reconnect the usb cable, nothing helps. When you try to reset the default printer, the printer status shows as off.   Thank you for joining the communities Support from Apple! Looks like you're having a problem getting the phone to automatic locking. I know that I want my iPhone did not stay when over and have the screen lock correctly. You can, of course, that your Auto-Lock is set up correctly. Your range of choice of automatic locking from 30 seconds to 5 minutes before locking the screen, or you can choose never so that it does not lock. To change the settings, tap the settings icon, click the general button. Tap the AutoLock option and choose your preference.

  If these steps do not work, and you still do not see the iPhone Autolock when you're in charge, you can go to settings > general > reset and then press reset all settings. This removes all the data. For example, if you have 16GB of music, videos and photos, this option will not remove. What this does is actually reset some of your settings to factory default. It is not a complete withdrawal of the parameters. It deletes all of your preferences for Wi - Fi, Bluetooth, do not disturb, Notifications, general, sounds, brightness & wallpaper and privacy.

  Once that is done, go ahead and try to set the automatic lock again and see if it works.

• HP Officejet 4630: Printing on both sides, no option to turn off when you print a Word Doc; When printing Pages

  Recently, when printing, the printer appear uses both sides of the paper, even when we don't want him. There is no option to turn it off when you print a Word document.

  
  When printing Pages it shows a checked box that says BOTH SIDES, if I uncheck, then it works.

  

  But from Word, there is no other choice. I tried the file/Preferences, I tried through the printer settings and nothing we can find will solve this problem? This has recently (last week or two) become a problem...

  I would like to help you to solve the problem of double-sided printing that you experience when you try to print single-sided computer Mac OS X 10.9 to your HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer today. Please follow the steps below to disable duplex printing.

  1. Open a Word document
  2. Select file , and then click print
  3. Click on the drop down menu to the Copies and Pages and modify this provision
  4. Uncheck duplex .
  5. To change the additional print settings click on view details.

  Hi all

  Anyone know what could be the reason for the screen goes black and turns off when the laptop wakes up?
  The laptop is Toshiba Portege Z830 - 11 M W7HP, purchased in September.

  The problem started shortly after I bought the laptop, but gradually began with a period of 1-2 seconds black screen whenever I tried to wake the portable computer of fashion 'sleep'. He didn't look like a regular part "blackout" of the wake-up process so I just tried to ignore it, but it started to happen more often recently. It got really worse after two months of use and the black screen two or three times until I'm at the login screen. The error was also difficult to re-create because it was random. Sometimes, the screen went black once sometimes twice or just blinked for a fraction of a second.

  Yesterday, I worked during the day and at night it turned really bad. The screen went black several times, whenever I went back to work after a short break.
  I changed the laptop off when I'm done, but when I turned back on it in the morning, the screen was just black. I tried to use the touchpad, but it is only the screen on the gray.

  Can anyone suggest what to do?

  So finally that cannot start the laptop is Hmm normal?
  It would be interesting to know if this help:
  -Battery adapter and ac removal
  -Press and hold power button do this for 30 sec
  -Then reconnect both sides.
  Turn on the laptop?

  If this is not good enough, you're in trouble I guess its hardware related issue and in this case you must service help

• Toshiba 32RV635D does not power off when the computer turns off

  I inherited a Toshiba 32RV635D. I have a PVR based on linux (Mythtv) connected to the TV via HDMI, connected on a Nvidia GT610.

  With my previous TV, a Vistron LCD Panel at low prices, he would go to sleep when the put PC into hibernation and light up when the PC came back.
  This required no configuration of me, he's done right. The Toshiba TV does not work.

  With this Toshiba TV, when the POR turns off the TV turns off screen but is actually still on - power led remains lit in green.

  Looks like the battery or motherboard has a problem and may need repair to a Toshiba repair center.

  OK, I think I finally figured it by changing power options, and I think that the way you reset the battery also helped.

  Here are the parameters:

  reserve battery level (this is when the popup will appear).

  10%

  low battery (this is when the low battery action will be performed).

  8%

  critical battery level (my computer would die at this point.)

  7%

  low battery action: sleep, sleep (this customize to your liking).

  battery low notification: on (hold on).

  critical battery action: sleep, sleep (my computer died already in criticism.)

  There is a setting on the TV called auto stop where in the unit turn off when no input no signal is detected for 15 minutes. To access the Auto off setting please follow the steps below.

  I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem? My motospeak remains on even after my bluetooth goes out... so I force close and then when I turn on my bluetooth it turns on... but still does not turn off when I turn off my bluetooth. A way to fix it?

  Well, in the framework of trying to solve another problem... see my other post... I recharged my phone to default settings and reloaded all my apps. It said that the problem with Motospeak has set itself. We will see as time passes if that is still true. Thanks for all the suggestions and help.
