I am able to scan, but can't find it in the documents.  I also tried sending email using my PIN with NO result.

If you use the "HP Scan", the path where the files are saved is displayed in the lower right corner (above the 'Done' button).

    My ENVY5530 at the age of one month all the in a has problems.  Firstly, it has not feed paper, then a HP Tec, I help and then it worked fine for a few weeks.   Later, same problem returned, paper does not feed, and now, I still have a new problem.  The document is printed, but the top is folded and torn.   However, from time to time, once a page prints perfectly and I am hopeful, but then the mistakes to come immediately.  I reinstalled, but the book looks always up before it feeds through. It is as if it is to be caught by something while it passes through.  Now of course the store (Best Buy) not exchange it because I went over the allocated period of 15 days.  Of course, I thought it was working fine up until 15 days have expired.  The most irritating thing is well, I can't count on it, what problem there at that time?  Maybe tomorrow it will work perfectly again.  Y at - it something I am doing wrong?  Has anyone else encountered this problem with the top of the paper coming out mutilated?  If I can't understand this point I'll have to return under warranty, HP will repair or send me a replacement.  But I would rather by this argument.  Thank you

    I 5530th DESIRE which will not install the driver on a gateway computer that has been upgraded to Windows 7 32 bit Vista. I applied the patch to the tha, but it almost always fails at the end, and then cancel the whole installation. There is no error message or the displayed codes. Need a boost in a certain direction.

    I had to do a system reinstall to correct the problems of som with an analysis of the file system, and then everything worked correctly.

    Whenever I try to scan the printer says it is successful, but the computer says: application from HP could not save the file to the specified location.  I've never had this problem before because she was always going to My Documents folder.  Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

  • HP Envy5530 series - HP64C25A: HP scanning and Capture does not work

    Recently my HP Scan application capture & has stopped working. So far the application worked perfectly. I tend to use it rarely, so the first cause can occur some time in the past weeks. The printer is connected to my laptop via a wifi connection & it prints perfectly.

    As part of my diagnosis, I deleted the application & loaded the last version from the store Windows. Unfortunately the application continues to refuse to do. When I try to run the application using the functionality of Capture of Documents - I get this error message "General failure."

    I tried to run HP Print & Scan Doctor (V4.9) to solve the problem of scanning. I note that this request when I try to run it seems not to complete his routine & may appear to 'work' for more than 20 minutes (I dropped & closed by using the Task Manager).

    I can use the scanner using the HP e - All in One Printer, but of course this will provide only a scan of a single page.

    Any help would be most warmly accepted.

    I understand that you have a print quality problem with your HP ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one printer.  I want to help you with this and have some suggestions that could lead to a properly shaped picture to print.

    Have you been using the AirPrint method to print photos from your iPad?  It's when you go to the photo and print it simply hit without running third party applications; (AirPrint is Apple's built-in printing method).  With all the respect that is due to Apple, this method is great for basic, fast wireless printing, but you can see that sometimes, photos and other documents have formatting issues that require the ability to print more complex to solve.

    Therefore, I recommend that you try to use the HP ePrint app.  You can click here to install it.  You need activate the application using your personal email address.  That your printer is probably connected to your wireless network, all you have to do before using the app is activate webservices to your printer (the ePrint feature).  Here's how:

    • Front panel of the printer, press the icon of webservices .
    • If you do not see an address of @hpeprint.com, enable the webservices and press OK to enable the automatic updates of printers.
    • If you see an address @hpeprint.com already and you want to customize, click here for more information.

    Once you activate the application, click here for more information on how to use the HP ePrint app.  You will see in this article, and also when using the application and the selection of Photos, you can print all the photos stored on your device and configure print settings such as paper size, type, print quality, crop the photo, etc.

    I have a HP Envy5300 all aged a year in a printer.  It was working fine until recently.  We had a few power outages because of the weather.  After the power was restored, the printer would be try to print the alignment page.  It "thinks" for always and not move forward until the printer is turned off and turn it back on.  Last week, a new more serious problem has occurred.  the screen is all blue with a flashing C4EBA341.  It flashes also the icons to the right arrow, arrow to the left, back, etc., but nothing is able to be pressed or selected. Turning off and back on does nothing.

    We tried a difficulty, we found online that says hold down the power button until it turns off, unplug the printer, press and hold the power button for 15 seconds and then turn it back on.  After this attempt, WITHOUT RESULT.

    We are looking for an option to reset to reset the printer so we can use it, or another option to reset.  Any help you can offer would be GREATLY appreciated.  Thank you!!!

  • HP Envy5530 cancels 3 pages in the print job.

    I have looked at various other messages on this problem but have not seen a solution. I tried the suggestions in other posts, but they do not work.  I'm trying to print an 8-page document, using the wireless interface. At halfway through the three page, printing stops and the printer reports that it cancels the job. I'm running a Lenovo Ideapad with i3 processor and windows 8.1. Frankly; I don't think that this printer is suitable for usage and I will communicate to the supplier for a refund if a solution is found. Oh; and Yes, I put the paper size in the properties. I can print from my desktop Windows XP with USB. Kind regards.

    I see that you have some problems with the touchscreen on your desire 5530 e - all - in - one printer. I can help you with that.

    To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once it is, while the printer is on, remove the power cable at the back of the printer for one minute.

    I didn't know I neeeded to use third party software to print envelopes. My Canon pixma ip4000 precedent did not require the use of any software to print.

    I use Microsoft word 2002 and my comp. is 32 bit XP Pro.

    I'd be happy to help you with your 5530 envy. I understand your description that you got a new ATT U-Verse router, and after changing an ink cartridge, you have not been able to print. Based on the error on the link, I guess the question has nothing to do with the cartridge and is rather only linked to the new router.
