HP Officejet 6500 E710n-z starts - but not - completed the scanning process

My HP Officejet 6500 E710n-z used to work perfectly. However, recently the ADF Document (CAD) for the scanner stopped working.

You can load the document and it "scan." But once the document is scanned, the ADF continues to operate - as if waiting for more documents to follow. This continues for about two minutes, so that an error message appears on the printer screen: "reload the document, and then restart the job. In the end, none of the ' scan ' is recorded by the computer.

If it is useful to solve this problem, I am currently using Windows 7, 64-bit. In addition, I downloaded a recent firmware of HP, etc page upgrade (maybe two months ago) software.

If you can offer any assistance, I would be very happy. I used to use the ADF regularly, and I'm now no longer able to. (For example, some of my projects are delayed!)

You can perform a hard reset on the printer. Unplug the power cord at the back. Leave for 30 seconds and plug it back.

Also. You can run the doctor print and scan and check the results.

  • OfficeJet 6500 E710n-z: How can I change the printable area

I use a printer OfficeJet 6500 E710n-z.  In the past, with Microsoft Office 2007 and Publisher 2002 on a Windows Vista operating system, I was able to print publications with a margin of page of 0.125 "around all sides.

I recently bought a new laptop running Windows 8.1 (64-bit) and upgraded to Microsoft Office & Publisher 2013.  Now my printable area is (landscape)-left margin: 0,587 "for a total width of 9,827".  The top margin remains the same, to 0.125 "for a total height of 8.25".

I don't think I made any changes to the printer settings.  How to restore the printable region so that it has a margin of 0.125 "around the page?

    Hello @RonJRu,

Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! " I see that you want to change your margins toward 0,125", since you upgraded to 8.1 of Windows and Microsoft Office & 2013 the printable region Editor is (landscape) - left margin: 0,587 "for a total width of 9.827 and the top margin is correct.

When you upgraded to Windows 8.1, you would update the software and drivers for the printer as well?

  • HP OfficeJet 6700: Could not complete the scan

I used this Toshiba Satellite P55W-C laptop sucessfully for scanning and printing since I was 6 months ago and had a very easy installation. They are entirely compatible.

    Printing now works fine.

I was in the Middle I digitizes a 7 page paper on the feedbed in TIF format, (which I did successfully several times before) when he leaves the analysis. I had to pull the output printer page.

I could click on new scan and go to the properties of a couple of times, but it is not yet complete the scan.

Now as soon as I click on "new scan" I get a pop up window that says "unable to complete scan.

I am able to complete the scan with my laptop HP G72 5 year (after the start of an hour of time), this scanner is fine.

    What happened to my computer?

Hello and thanks for trying to help.

    They were always connected wireless.

I does not solve the problem, after having paid Best Buys Geek Squad $100 to register for a program.

It remote access to my computer. He had to remove all the drivers for my printer and then reloaded them and it worked fine. I thought I had done this, but all I did was to remove the printer from the list of printers and devices. I had not actually entered in the list of programs and deleted all the driver and related information.

I hope this can help someone else.

  • Duplex charger HP 8620 document Mac error - 'the scanner could not complete the scan.

    Hello

When the analysis attempted double helped since the document feeder, I get the following error:

the scanner was unable to complete the scan

If I don't select duplex option, the printer scans very well. I really need the duplex feature was that the printer was purchased for.

I uninstalled the printer, reset and all that gubbins.

my setup is the following, configure the printer as wireless on mac osx mavericks last generation last drivers/HP utility. Ipgraded for the latest firmware of the printer also. all without success, and now support is not open until Monday

    For more information on this...

So I think that I managed to fix it. Different solutions etc. then forums all about I thought I would include it here. This is the steps that I found to work for Mac OS x 10.9.

I need to follow the steps:

    1. Remove the power cable while the printer is turned on wait about 15 seconds and plug it in again.
    2. When the installation of the printer using the selection HP not the Airprint, which is added by default on Mac OS x 10.9 - capture screen attached and operating.

If everything is working great and then if not go to step 3.

    3. If the printer is already installed with AirPrint go to the printer main & scanners, right click in the box on the left where you printer is displayed and click on reset printing system. -This will remove all printers found here also.
    4. Download of the latest version of the software for your operating system
    5. Install the software, restart the computer.
    6. Download the latest firmware, if it is available for your printer
    7. Add your printer and follow the steps 1 & 2. It should work and allows you to copy double-sided.

Don't know if this is a limitation of the software or drivers but ADF allows up to 300 dpi, as the manual scanner allows all the way up to 1200 dpi.

    See you soon

  • HP Officejet 6500 Wireless - printer installation failed to complete the

    Help!

    Hello

I had the same problem on my two computers to Vista (x 64) and 7 (x 64).

I manually configured address (192.168.1.90) on my printer (OfficeJet Pro 8500).

In part, I installed current drivers (OJP8500vA909_Full_14.exe), but had the same problem as you:

the printer has been detected but not installed. I had the same helpful error ' printer setup failed to complete «...»»

Strangely, I could open the printer info web page to my IP address (http://192.168.1.90), for the config network was good.

Here is what fixed the problem for me:

    -Open the computer

    -Click on network

-must be registered with your printer

-Double-click it, and then click 'continue' if he asks you to do

This will start an installation of the driver. When it is finished, try to rerun the original installer or click the icon that was placed on your desktop to complete the installation of the printer.

  • 6 days years Samsung Mega 6.3 - Skype will not complete the connection process

I downloaded Skype on my Samsung Mega 6.3 new since I use Skype at work for messaging and want to be able to use it on my new phone like I did on my previous (iphone 4) when you work remotely.

After entering my microsoft account information, it tries to connect, but starts a loop where it climbs from the home screen to the loading screen and back Skype, constantly.

If I press the back button, it will make starting Skype and considered as being active on my header bar, but if I try to pull up, we start the loop.

Phone AT & T. cannot change my APN settings, so change my proxy to 0 will not fix the problem.

Have you tried to empty cache. No help.

Have deleted and reinstalled several times now (I think I'm on 5).

Ideas people? Or I'll just have to in the loop and wait for the next update to use this great software?

Looks like the update today resolved my problem. I can now use Skype without any problems.

  • I have an internet connection, but when I try to enable Thunderbird software appears on my desktop screen, but could not complete the connection process.

I have Thunderbird installed on my desktop and laptop. So far, it worked very well on both machines. Today, when I try to activate the Thunderbird, the software on my desktop and laptops come on the screen, like the "sign-in" box When I try to connect, however, the process hangs part way through and the circle around the rotation shows that the activity occurs. Finally Windows 7 on the laptop tells me that the program is not responding.

The same result occurs on two machines, the desktop and the laptop. I checked and I have an active internet connection on both machines.

    What should I do?

  • NetInstall/Netrestore will not complete the boot process.

    Hello world

I searched through the forums (and days of Google searches) try various process of troubleshooting with no progress. I hope someone can shed some light on what I'm doing wrong.

    So I'm under OS X Server 5.1.7 (Build 15S 7055) on a iMac (21.5 inch, end 2013) OS X 10.11.6 (Build 15 G 31).

Try to get a server NetInstall if I can image a full Lab of iMacs (same model as the server)

Server runs on a closed network offering DHCP clients through a Nortel switch. No firewall, no ports blocked (no connection with the outside world). File sharing and NetInstall are on.

Clients receive IP addresses and can see each other (sharing, ping, see Manager boot images provided by the file server)

When you launch Netboot (I use the method 'hold the Option key', but I tested with "n" just with the same result) the client displays all hosted images. For my test, I use a NetInstall image built from the 'install El Capitan' downloaded application from the App Store using system image utility.

When you attempt to start the client image will display the progress under the apple logo bar and it will take about 45 minutes to 1.5 hours to fill full and won't progress of there. Sometimes the progress bar only about 3/4 of the way to make and freeze there for hours.

Here are the journal entries of NetInstall for my last test:

    I know what I don't see is a BSDP DISCOVER/OFFER but I don't know why.

Verbose mode on the Client does not give me something that I can understand what it is to do (or not do).

I literally read the chapter NetInstall and followed the examples set up in OS X Server 5.0 Essentials book and I still don't see why its not working.

If anyone can enlighten us or if there is more information/papers/tips I can give you please let me know. (I hope, that I forgot to mention something that I didn't want to as it is lengthy and unreadable)

    Thanks in advance.

Oh, I should mention that I did whitelist the server on the client side.

I also tested the images via NFS.

    Hello

    I suggest the following: -.

    (1) open your project in CP4

    (2) copy all slides

    (3) close the project.

    (4) create a new CP4 project with the same dimensions

    (5) paste the slides.

Please be patient while this step happens, since you have about 100 slides.

Once this step is complete, save the project and try to publish.
