Port forwarding for Xbox

I have a UTM9S Prosecure home and it does not block the Xbox 360 online.

Xbox is recommended to open the following ports:
Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)

So I went to the network security-> Services and also Services network-> release of Port Security and added above (TCP and UDP) ports.

I also enabled UPnP they recommend.

No luck.

It was before working with a small router Linksys, so I know it can work if I have the right config, but do not know what I am doing wrong.

Any suggestions?

I use a UTM25S on firmware version 3.6.0-32. uPnP does not seem to work for XBox Live. I used the installation trigger port in the post of Shanlord and now it works fine.

    Hi @varxtis,

You must enter them in the field for a start external Port and external completion Port. You will need to send individually except for the range of 49000-65000. The steps are as follows.

    1. create a Service name (it could be something else that you cannot use the same service name twice. Ex. XBOX1, XBOX2 and so forth.)

    2. Select the type of service (TCP, UDP or both)

3 entry 5050 times a start external Port and external endpoints.

    4. Select the IP address of your XBOX.

    5. Select apply.

6 do the same for other port numbers. To the beach, use 49000 for the external departure Port and for the external completion Port 65000.

    Kind regards

  • Port forwarding for the suddenly closed Linksys router

I have a 54G wireless router... correctly port forwarded a request of a CPU (server)... but after no connection made by the user on the server... it suddenly close the application... so what I did is to reboot the router in order to refresh the connection...

Are there other ways to fix this sudden closure of ports?  so that I would more restarts on my router

I appreciate a lot of help...

As directed by your statement the port that you have passed on the closed router without any connection to the server is unusual. Please make sure that you have configured an IP address static (outside the range of the router DHCP) on your server and put the same IP address for the specific port port forwarding tab.

In addition, reduce the MTU size on the router to 1400. See the link below on how to make the changes in the MTU size.

I looked on the forums on the site and he told me I should do port forwarding and ill be able to download the updated much more quickly. So my question is how do I port forwarding on a router NetGear on Windows Vista.

    Hello

Ports must be sent to the IP of the specific computer.

A specific port can only be transferred to a computer.

He must be facing forward in the router and also via the firewall software.

Instructions depends on the specific router you have (the manual force) be useful and the specific firewall software that you use (using the software may contain instructions).

Open sharing Ports that are used on a local area network on the Internet is a Big safety hazard.

  • Port forwarding for Cisco RV042G TSE

Hi, I have just configured a Cisco small Business routers on my network RV042G. My problem is that I would like to allow TSE through the WAN1 and I am not able to do. I place this information in the menu:-Setup / Forwarding TSE[TCP/3389~3389]->192.168.1.15 - firewall / access rules: allow TSE [3389] WAN1 192.168.1.15 ~ 192.168.1.11 192.168.1.15 ~ 192.168.1.15 still configuring it please? Thanks for your help.

    Thanks for the reply.

There is nothing else that can be done on the router RV042G. all the configuration is in place.

The only other way to make this work is to see if you can do the port forwarding on your modem and then forward all ports to the WAN address of the RV042G, or if the modem allows to create a DMZ, then you can connect the router to the DMZ port, but that's all.

  • Setting up Port Forwarding on both routers E2000 for the Slingbox PRO - HD

I bought recently a Slingbox PRO - HD and the software of the iPad in HD mode on my iPad when I'm away from home.  When I install the Slingbox using their setup program web-based, he pointed out that I don't have my network configured to optimize performance for the visualization of the internet, which is what I need for the iPad.  I think that I don't have the port forwarding for port 5001 set up properly on my system.  I can connect successfully to my Slingbox away from home on my iPad and my laptop, but the performance is indeed poor.

I have a modem cable and two routers E2000.  The first E2000 is connected to a modem cable into my home office and the second E2000 is in my home theater.  I used Cisco Connect on separate computers to configure two routers.  Here are the details:

    Cable modem:
    Scientific Atlanta
    Model DPX2203 series
    Part number 4006351
"Ethernet" connected to the "Internet" Router 1 connection.

    Router 1:
    Cisco Linksys
    Model E2000
    IP 192.168.1.1
    Wireless enabled.
'Internet' connected to the modem cable.
    Connections 'Ethernet ':
    1 Seagate drive network storage
    2 desktop PC
    3 desktop PC
    4. the Router 2

    Router 2:
    Cisco Linksys
    Model E2000
    IP 192.168.2.1
    Wireless enabled
'Internet' connected Router 1 "Ethernet 4'.
    Connections 'Ethernet ':
    1 Slingbox PRO - HD
    2 desktop PC
    3 A / V Receiver
    4 Blu - ray player

How to configure the port forwarding for Slingbox PRO - HD on port 5001?  Also, what is the best way to configure two routers E2000 so that I can use as wireless access points?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I would recommend using the second E2000 as an access point only. Which simplifies and facilitates also the transmission much:

0 unplug the E2000 second the first. Connect a computer to the second E2000. Open the web interface to http://192.168.2.1/
    1. change the address LAN IP of the second E2000 to 192.168.2.1. on 192.168.1.2.
    2. turn off the DHCP server on the same page.
    3. save the settings.
    4. disconnect the computer and son, one of the LAN ports of the second E2000 for the first E2000.

For other ports LAN to get an ethernet switch.

Now, all you have to do is to set up the port forwarding on the first E2000.

  • Automatic EA6500 for PokerStars port forwarding

When I play poker online I am sometimes disconnected. The network status report showed that it is because of my router. They recommended that do the following:

Please set the trigger (automatic port forwarding) for the following ports: 26002 and 443 22.

The access router configuration page and follow the instructions as a guideline.

    Click the Advanced tab.

    Click the app button

    Click the enable button

    Name of PokerStars

After the outbreak of Port, enter 26002

After the trigger Type, select TCP

After the Public Port, enter 26002

    After Public Type, choose TCP

    Click on apply

Repeat to ports 443 and 22

In the Linksys Smart Wi - Fi, under Security, I went to the apps and games to find the port forwarding and triggering, but I don't see how I can implement a port as an example here with a public port. Can someone explain? I have little knowledge about this kind of thing. Thank you!

First, you must go in the DHCP server setting and to reserve an IP address for the main device that you use to do this.

Then in simple port forwarding using that IP address and the same port number for internal and external. External port, that's what they call public port.

  • Implementation of IPSec Port Forwarding on a Windows 2012 with a LRT224 Server

Hi all I hope someone can help me validate my troubleshooting. I'm deploying a Server Windows 2012 that will server as a server vpn for customers. In place is a LRT224 with 4 VLANS set up. I have enabled port forwarding for IPSec (UDP/500), L2TP (UDP/1701) and L2TP (UDP/4500) to go on the server.

In my Initial test, I put the LRT224 on the same network as the client of my test and realized the Test Client (10 Windows) to try to connect to the WAN of the LRT224 interface. I get this message:

Thinking it could be the configuration of the server, I then put the client system on the same vlan on the LRT224 server. When I tried to connect to it directly by using the IP address of the server as a destination, he succeeded.  It is leading me to believe that it is the LRT224.

I confirmed that VPN passthrough is enabled.

The firmware version is by: v1.0.5.03 (February 22, 2016 10:12:17)

Currently, the firewall is disabled (I would activate once I'm working)

If anyone has ideas or notice a fault in my tests, I would really appreciate the feedback.

If additional information would be useful, please let me know what you want and I can work for it.

    Thanks to all in advance.

It does normally not as I KNOW because the VPN in an outside in the process. You should test the VPN connection outside the server's IP subnet.

You have the server configuration that the DNS server in the router to DHCP with DNS Proxy is disabled?

  • Port forwarding on WRT54GL does not

Thanks in advance, trying to track forward setup my linksys WRT54GL allow Remote Desktop from outside your desktop (private static IP).

I have a configuration of modem netgear in bridge mode (so the firewall is disabled on the modem), and the Linksys WRT54GL Firewall enabled, with "filter internet NAT redirectin" unchecked.

I also, port rule before the Setup program in the game & Apps, to transfer the TCP 3389 to my office (private) static IP address.

I make sure firewall is not blocking the RDP traffic, and I can RDP on the desktop to a laptop on the WIFI network.

But the rest of the world, I can't not RDP using my ISP (dynamic) IP address.  times out.  I don't know that I have the IP address of my ISP at the moment.

Thoughts?  I present screenshots if necessary

After further digging... I found the problem, it was with the Windows 7 firewall.

I made sure 3389 (and RDP application) was allowed on Win Firewall (this is why I could RDP on my WLAN), but for the rule of the RDP, under the "Advanced" tab, I also had to "allow the crossing side.

It was the first time I set up the port forwarding for a box of Win 7, so didn't even know that this setting exists in Windows 7.

  • Port forwarding on several computers

Hi I just bought a Wireless Linksys WAG325N router. I usually about 2-3 machines on my network WIFI and I'd like to enable the port forwarding for each of them on a particular port. It is easy to do for a single exact machine - simply type the port number and IP of the computer to the configuration - but the problem is - I would do it for each other: example: enable the port forwarding XXXX for 192.168.1.100, 101 and 102. Help, please? Thank you in advance.

It is the application load in a sense. You can change the assignment of external ports to resolve the correct internal port on each machine.

Say for example using rdp that uses (port/protocol) tcp/3389 (RDP client) application actually allows you to change the external port to connect to, if you specify after the investigation period. If for example say we have rdp access to all 3 computers in the outside world. We can configure the port forwarding on every computer

(Computers)      (internal IP addressort)            (External IP/port)

    COMP A 192.168.0.5:3389 203.x.y.z:3389

    Model B 192.168.0.10:3389 203.x.y.z:3390

    Model C 192.168.0.15:3389 203.x.y.z:3391

It is the purpose of a router to create routing tables.

Of course, you will need to remember which ports are assigned to which device.

It is certainly dependent on the application. Find out if your application or service supports changing the port, ftp, rdp clients, tftp, ssh all do... Most of the 'Good' services are, as those who built it were considered in a NAT environment.

    NAT network address translation =

Most of the things if not at the level of the applications, services even in windows are tweakable via the registry. I wouldn't say that that if you don't have experience relavent. You potentially make your workstation unusable if you're wrong.

    I hope this helps.

  • WRT54G2 port Forwarding not working - do IP 192.168.1.64 private wan

Hi all, I have a WRT54G2 and I try to RDP to my rig to the home from work.  I use DDNS with dyndns.org and when my IP changes it is updated with the WAN IP 192.168.1.64

Has anyone seen this problem?  I have to configure TRP via the router?  If so, I'll have to call ATT about my password.  Currently, I have DSL connected to router and 2 stations connected to the router also.  I have set up the port forwarding for 3389 (rdp). and I put my rig with a fixed ip 192.168.0.2

    router = 192.168.0.1 ip

    DSL modem ip = 192.168.1.254

    Please notify.  Thank you

Your DSL modem is not a simple modem has a built-in router which is active This means that any form of incoming internet connection ends at the DSL modem/router.

The best way to deal with this would be to put the modem/router ADSL mode 'bridge' (or whatever they call it). In this mode the router part is disabled, that is the DSL modem/router works as a simple modem. After that, you will need to reconfigure the internet connection on the WRT for PPPoE. Then, you should get a public IP address on the internet port and transfer should work.

  • Port Forwarding problem through 2 routers RVS4000 2 subnets

I modified a building network to be compliant (Visa) PABP where two router and two subnets are required.

My original CD building network configuration was designed to allow remote access to a server terminal server via the port forwarding on a RVS4000 router. So cables / modems-> xx.xx.xx.xx wan ROUTER lan 192.168.1.1--> subnet 192.168.1.0 with TCP 3389 Port forwarding for 192.168.1.11 (terminal server).

The new configuration of the network is composed of two routers RVS4000 on two subnets. So the Modem cable-> wan xx.xx.xx.xx ROUTER1 lan 192.168.2.2-> Subnet 192.168.2.0-> DMZ 192.168.2.14 and the second router wan ROUTER2 lan--> subnet 192.168.1.0 192.168.1.1 192.168.2.1.

ROUTER1 is configured in Bridge mode and ROUTER2 is configured in router mode. Port forwarding on ROUTER1 to port TCP 3389 is 192.168.2.1 (on ROUTER2 wan port). Port forwarding on Router 2 for the TCP 3389 must 192.168.1.11 port (server address terminal server).

With this new configuration of network I am able to connect to the Terminal Server remotely. No problem with access to the Internet and the 192.168.2.0 subnet from inside the 192.168.1.0 subnet.

So I think my problem is through two RVS4000 routers port forwarding. Any help on this problem will be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    1. can you access the terminal server server from inside the subnet 192.168.2.0/24 using the IP WAN to Router 2, which is access 192.168.2.1:3389 from inside 192.168.2.0/24.

    2. turn on Router 2 router in Bridge mode. Try again. My guess is that this will make the work of transfer. I think that port forwarding is linked to the NAT/gateway mode. No NAT no transfer. Is not logical to use the transfer when you are able to access the IP directly without NAT. Of course, the web interface does not allow you to forward a port located outside the LAN subnet...

    3. are you sure that you can access internet through Router 2 in router mode on the LAN subnet router 2? Usually in the NAT their own LAN subnet routers only bridge mode but not others. If the RVS4000 not NAT a different subnet that would be good to know.
