Sydney Morning Herald is almost unreadable (tiny printed), but all other newspapers is displayed correctly on my Win7 computer

DISPLAY PROBLEMS SPECIFIC TO MOZILLA FIREFOX WHEN YOU VIEW THE SYDNEY MORNING HERALD

My computer is a laptop MSI GT 70 ONE high-end, Win7, running with a 27 inch Samsung display via HDMI. During the last week, I ran into major display problems on Mozilla Firefox with the Sydney Morning Herald ("SMH"). The size of the font of the SMH is now microscopic to the point of illegibility and the layout is incomplete and degraded, with clickable links is no longer reliable. The other Fairfax newspaper, I read online (The Herald of Newcastle) has no problem display; not Murdoch, The Australian newspaper. When I go to Internet Explorer, I have none of these display problems.

  • OfficeJet 4360: Hp officejet 4360 does not print but all the test prints come out perfect

All of the test pages come out perfectly, but when I try to print a document, it will pull the paper through and seem as if it will print but the page comes out blank. Then, in a software, I for planning, when I try to print, it will print the form without the personal information that I entered into the form. Any suggestions as to what can happen and how to fix it?

You have been correct is the question.  I'm actually the 4632.  All the test pages are out happening without any problem.  I did all the checks, including levels of ink... actually, what was the first thing I did.  Well, when nothing else was not working, I decided to install a new black ink cartridge.  That was the problem.  As simple as that.  Thank you for your willingness to help.

  • New Windows 7 pro machine always prints the first page in a direction, but all other pages are printed in a different orientation

We bought a new PC for one of our employees that is running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. We have several printers throughout our office area. There are three printers that this person will print to the two Ricoh printstations and a Brother Laser printer. Any printer that employee uses printers still print the first page, a focus on the next page and all other pages in the other direction. The first page is always printed in the opposite direction of whatever orientation has been selected.

If it has a four page document and select landscape as the orientation, the first page prints in portrait orientation while the other three pages will be printed in landscape. She can go back and print the document again and all four pages will be printed in the right direction. This happens no matter which printer she uses, as well as any program (Word 2010, Excel, Adobe, web pages, etc...). Any suggestions?

  • Printer stopped printing, but the other functions work

I have a 1536mfp that has worked very well for many years... no problem.  I installed a second printer about two months (Officejet Pro 8620) for printing of color presentations... no there was no problem until last week when the 1536 stopped printing.  A few times I turned it and turn it back on and it would print.  Then it stopped printing completely.  I've replaced the USB cable in case that's the problem.  I checked the ports and they work.  I can scan my computer the 1536, but when I print... nothing.

I updated the drivers to check to see if this is the problem.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the printer... but so far nothing has worked.  Anyone has any ideas at this point?

    Thank you

    CJM111

I tried the first option and nothing... I thenk tried the second and found several files in that location as... I deleted these files and followed your direction; tried to print... nothing... got nothing else that a warning light flashing... off the printer, then turn it back on and deleted printing only and reproduced the document and WOW! It worked!

Thank you for taking the time to help.  He appreciates a lot... quite frustrating when something works so well for so long and then nothing.  Have a great day.

  • Almost everyday to reinstall C5280 All-in-One Printer

Almost everyday to reinstall the all-in-one printer HP C5280 Photosamrt.  It adds an icon to the list of the Printers icon in Control Panel.  Until I have 4 or more, I uninstall and try again.

When I try to print an article, received no response and no error message. This experience has occurred for a month or two.

Please write back to me with the information. You said that you have uninstalled the software and drivers several times but I just wanted to try one more time, but instead to use the cd to reinstall, I suggest that we use the drivers and software updates. Please remove the usb cable from the printer and the computer (please let disconnect you until further notice). On your computer, click Start, then select all programs, then go to the yellow folder that says HP, once in the folder, click on your printer. You should see a file that says that you can click on uninstall. Once the uninstall is complete you be prompted to restart your computer, please do so. When the computer is back up and running, please go to your folder, devices and printers, and make sure that everything has been removed and that has to do with HP. If you still see printers from the Printers folder, you may go to add/remove programs and delete files just deal with your HP printer. Restart the computer again. Once the computer is back, please click on the link I provided with the HP Photosmart C5280 All-in-one print drivers and download the file to your desktop of your computer so that you can find. Once the download is complete, double-click on the icon and follow the instructions. Please, do not connect the USB cable until you are prompted to do so.

If you need further help, please let me know.

    Thank you.

  • LaserJet CP1525: Laserjet CP1525 generates errors 'paper jam' on almost everything I print and there are no jams

Hello everyone, I have a Laserjet CP1525 who I am troubleshooting for a colleague, and no matter what we do whenever we try to print, we get "paper jam in tray 2" "clear jam and then press {OK}."

I checked this printer up and down and everything autour and there is no jams, there is not a coward or a sheet of paper, the platters, and linings are very clean, I opened all the doors on the printer, but we still have this isse. Toners are all fine, black, it becomes weak, but it is quite the impression that I was able to print a single test page.  I don't know what else to do. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

How old is this printer.  How it was used.  On this engine, I saw a lot where the roller is worn and it won't pick up the paper.  The roll is kind of a pain to change, but on what I laid out with this issue, once I have change the roll everything works fine.  Remove the tray paper and printing tilt up and with a flashlight he will shine on the roll.  Do not touch the roller.  There should be steps on the roll that you can see.  Most of the time there are only steps on the outside or the inside only and the rest of the roll is smooth.  If this is the case, you will need to change the roll.

  • HP software detects the printer, but then "the printer could not be installed on the network.

I tried looking for a similar problem, but have had no success yet.  I doubt I'm the first to this problem!

The computer is XP SP3, is printer Deskjet 3050 has, and it's a WiFi WPA - PSK.

The printer confirms that it is connected to WiFi.

When I run the tool on the computer, to the point of network configuration check, the installation software detects the printer with the correct IP address.  It's the only thing he discovered.

I click Next, and after a minute or two, I get the error "the printer could not be installed on the wireless network" click Retry to try reinstall the printer on the network, or click Cancel to return to connection options.

This just cycles with no progress.  I have disabled the Windows Firewall and also disabled the AV.  No change.

I can access the interface web printer - but still cannot install the printer.  It is listed in the printers and faxes as being offline.

I'll try removing it again and add new-but-that someone has encountered this problem before, please?

Well, my problem is almost solved. I uninstalled the software and then downloaded the software of the printer on the HP site where it is more recent than what was on the CD... and it's fixed!

    I can print wireless!

Cannot scan, the printer gives an error, but that's OK for now.

  • Blue print in all colors

    Good evening, everyone.

I have a printer J4680 AIO that I had for a while. Last night, I installed the new ink and ran a test page and it looked ok, but when I went to print a chart, I noticed that the colors were COMPLETELY shut down.

I went online and print a test page which includes all colors including shade and hue of these colors.

    The result is... interesting...

    The yellow is a lime.

Red is a deep blood red

Magenta is magenta, but deeper... almost purple in hue

    Black is fine

    The Green is very good.

    Blue is fine

    Cyan is fine

What it boils down to, is that cyan is printing in all colors.

Anyone had this happen and have any idea of a resolution for this? I do a lot of graphic design and when I am doing a project that does not require my printer super high resolution (aka REALLY expensive of ink), I need it to be precise.

    EDIT:
I should mention that I use ink official HP (901) so I know it is not the question (or shouldn't be).

Be troubleshooting steps described here can help, it seems that you have in the mixture of the color cartridge.  It is unlikely that running a cleaning cycle will solve this problem, you will probably need a new cartridge.  You can check the warranty on the cartridge (valid even if the printer is no longer guaranteed) as indicated in the paper here.

A new cartridge will almost certainly fix the problem.

  • Canon MP280 inkjet do not print, but will scan. Possibly caused by Avast

A few days ago, I changed the ink in my Canon printer. When I went to print a document, all of a sudden my Avast Anti Virus started sounding "threat detected - don't worry, we have set." I saw in the popup of Avast box that was connected to my printer, but before I had time to think to click on it to see what the problem was, it was gone again.

Immediately after, I try to print only resulted in almost nothing happens. The dialog box print which usually appears (to show the ink levels and documents in print etc) burst, but for literally a mili second and then his party once again. Nothing appears in my impression (QC) I cannot print web pages, documents, images and video - no matter what.

I guessed it was to do with avast, but I found nothing at all in avast associated with my printer. I tried to disable Avast and all firewall, but still nothing. I uninstalled Avast, still nothing. I reinstalled my printer, still nothing. Tried all the usual troubleshooting and diagnosis/repair printer, but never any anomaly. Scanning still works fine.

Anyone know what I can do? Hopefully, its driving me crazy! :(

    Hello Rovers,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

    1. What were the troubleshooting steps you have tried, when you mention 'usual troubleshooting and diagnosis/repair printer?
    2. You get the error message? If Yes, what is the exact and complete error message you get?

The problem may occur if the printer driver has corrupted or unstable after safety analysis. So, I would suggest trying the following steps and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

Check out the following link to diagnose and solve printer problems:

Diagnose and problems printing and printer

Also, I suggest you try to run the printer Troubleshooter integrated.

    Open the printer Troubleshooter

If the problem persists, go to method 2.

    Method 2:

Try to re - install the drivers for the printer from the following link.

    PIXMA MP280: Drivers & Software

Note: Select the correct operating system architecture and install the complete package of features.

Try to communicate with the printer after installing the driver.

  • My Officejet Pro 8000 A809 do not print, but there is no error message

When I try to print on my Hp Officejet Pro 8000 from my Windows 7 laptop wireless, the laptop is of the view that printing took place. I get no error message. But nothing comes out of the printer. Sometimes this small error on the printer flashes, but because the laptop thinks everything is fine, I can't understand why. I've run the troubleshooter, who says he has no problems, and rebooted the printer and the computer more than once as well. My printer (HP Officejet 6500 a) wireless works fine. Does anyone have a suggestion?

    Thank you for your help.

    Kat

Thank you for you a message.  My printer worked fine with my Windows 7 laptop as I upgraded from Vista in May.  This the first time this problem has occurred.  I have change a color ink cartridge in the morning that it has stopped working.  But, he continued to work for about 3 hours after the replacement of the cartridge, so I don't really think that's the problem.
