  The recommendation is to use the charger that comes with the unit. You can still use USB port to charge, BUT it can take ages to get a full charge, and this may affect your computer.

  Hi all

  I used my Toshiba 1 year without problem. Recently, I have a problem with my USB port. As sson as I have insert any USB device. The system hangs / crashes(I have to swith it off using the power switch to reboot w/o the usb device).

  I have removed/uninstalled drivers and rebooted. The laptop recognizes the usb ports and charging drivers, but whenever I insert any USB device, the system freezes again.

  Any advice will be appreciated.

  It will be interesting to know what devices you connect to the USB ports and devices has own power supply.

  It's really not easy to say what is happening here. Perhaps some device needs a little longer to be recognized. Please let us know what devices you use.

  No Windows computer can recharge an iPad via USB connection.  Apple has created in this way.  Only some Apple computers can charge it via the USB connection.  All others must use an AC adapter.

  Just to follow up with you on that, that very well may be the cause. Especially when it comes to mobile phones, the real cable you use is very important to have all the features when it is plugged into a computer.   Looks like you can't synchronize the pictures located on your external drive.  I need a little more information about your configuration to provide a better answer.  However, we will try to sync your photos through the section of the file through the article below.  You just need to direct iTunes to where your photos are stored on your external drive.

  If your photos are in a folder

  1. Select "Choose a folder" from the context menu.
  2. Choose the folder where you store your photos.
     
  3. Click on apply.

  I don't know if it will work, but there are some not Apple cables that are pricing only, not charging and synchronization. It can be difficult to find one who has certified the IFM and these types of cables are generally good cheap and of poor quality, so this may damage your phone if you're not careful which one you buy.

I saw my present mobile on this hub have obtained the correct material. I would have preferred that the PC continues to sleep when it is inactive, but want the mobile to continue loading.

  I read your post on how the USB ports on your computer constantly power when the rest of your system enters mode 'sleep', and you need to avoid this. I'd be happy to help you in this case!

  In order to maintain your USB ports power while your computer sleeps, your office should be equipped with a High Powered USB port. It also allows to load when your office is completely turned off.

  According to the Specifications of the product from your desktop, High Powered USB is not available on your system.
