8600 sccan problem

I have a 8600 Officejet all-in-one Windpows 8. I'm trying to scan a document, but the system says that the scan used sub and I should wait until the operation is complete. There is nothing being analyzed, and I don't know how to cancel the scan operation. I tried to turn off the computer and the printer nothing helps. I am connected to the printer via the wireless connection. How can I reset the scan so I will be able to complete my project?

I'm sorry you have a problem with the scanner.

Try to run the doctor print and scan and check the results.

    OfficeJet Pro 8600 e.  New.

Installed on HP Envy touch 23. Running Windows 8.1.

Wireless set in place. Fine prints.  Problem is the digitization of the HP scanning and capture the software App 8.1 Win

With the help of scanning and Capture App I can scan pictures very well.  They come out clear.  Scanning documents in GRAY has several bands/lines in gray on the entire page vertically running.  Scanning COLOR documents are very good.

Also, if I scan from the printer directly using the touch screen of the printer, the output of scan is fine.

I did the Scan utility to discover any errors and it show everything.  I think it is a software error.  I'm going to uninstall the HP scanning application, and then reinstall.  So, I'll do the uninstall/reinstall and accountable.

Also, I would like to know if there is a program of office for scanning?  I prefer to use it instead of the modern HP Scan and capture App.

    Thank you...

    Hi artrum,

I understand that you have been scanning your Officejet 8600 problems using the program window of scanning and Capture. I will certainly do my best to help you with this!

What you explained, I think: you're right, it seems that it is only a problem with scanning windows and the Capture program and as you could scan from the front of the printer you certainly have the HP software installed. I want to make is that you use the HP scanning software, where you must run is no longer in question.

To access the HP scanning software and be able to access it easily from your Office I would like you to follow the steps below:

1 go to your start screen and just start typing File Explorer. You should be able to open it then to access the files on your computer.

2 then open Local (c) disc, followed by Program Files (x 86), followed by HP, then HP Officejet Pro 8600, followed finally by bin.

    3. in the bin folder, you should see HPScan. You will want to right click on HPScan and go to send to, and then select Desktop.

Now, you should see HP Scan on your desktop and be able to open and browse this request.

Hope this helps, have a nice day!

  • Copy/scanninf with HP Officejet 8600 pro problems

I have a desktop HP all-in-one running Windows 7 (64-bit). The printer HP Officejet 8600 pro range is connected to the printer via a USB cable. Scanning/copying is all lines verticle edge edge of the paper. I ran the HP scan doctor software and it showed that everything works. Still no usable copy. Search HP site and the forum of solutions. Tried what I found. Still no solution found.

Well, I thought was this Chantilly when a blogger told me to try another outlet. It worked for a while. Now, the scanner lamp isn't bright lighting as it did before. She is dark, almost orange. The printer's two month warranty. Is this a bad sanner lamp or something else?

Can someone help me solve the problem?

Thanks for the pointers. I'll try them and I hope that this solves the problem.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus: problem of print head

Have had this printer for a couple of years without any problems.  All of a sudden getting the message: printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed. Lived all the recommended diagnostic checks but still a problem. I got it working the first time but then after a few days print message pops up again. The message won't let me come back to the homescreen on the printer.  I took it by a realignment and the printer prints a test page. If the printhead has been the problem, then I thought that he would not be able to print a test page. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your support Gemini02.  As well as through the HP recommended diagnostic tests I blush as the printhead to hot water, but still the same message. I also downloaded and reloaded the drivers, but to no avail.  The machine is 3.5 years old and so I came to the conclusion, it exceeded its use by date.  The cost of a new print head is $ 70 while the printer, HP Officejet pro 8600, is now manufactured and was replaced by the Officejet pro 8620 which sold $275 by HP.  HP said that because of the age of the printer, there is no guarantee that a new printhead will not solve the problem.  I then bit the bullet and ordered a new printer.

The scan looks like the following image?

It s probably a power outage in the lamp.

    1. try to change a different electric recessed contact.

    2. check the scanner lamp, if he shines a light "BOLD" when the printer is turned on.

    3. try to start a new search and check the operation of the scanner and how works.

    • If the problem persists, this means that the scanner lamp has a hardware failure.

  • Officejet Pro 8600 printing problem

I bought my Officejet Pro 8600 on 4 June 2014. I use windows 7-32 bit, everything worked fine until June 25, when I got an error message when you try to print saying "unable to communiucate with printer. I ran out and the printer worked again. On June 27 the same message, but his time of 8 hours of troubleshooting has not solved the problem. During a clean reinstall everything if fine, green all ticks, then all at once the connection is lost, managed to print a document during this time, but then print to square 1. Sometimes the software automatically detects the Lan connection and sometimes I have to put the IP address but two methods fail after a short time. I closed my firewall, but that made no difference. Talked to my son who is a computer expert and it is strange to have the same problem with its HP printers, which it has failed to resolve yet. I am 72 years old and have reached the point of despair that nothing seems to work and I've only had the printer for 3 weeks, that I would really appreciate if you have a solution. cordially 2dx

    Greetings @HPofficejetPro,

I saw your post about the problems you are having and I can find some things that you can try.

Have you tried another ethernet cable?

The same thing happens when you connect with a USB cable?

HP regularly publishes updates of firmware that can also correct the problem you are experiencing. With the USB cable is connected, you can click on this link to download the firmware update for the. HP Officejet Pro 8600 more e-All-in-One Printer - N911g.

Is the printer connected directly to a wall outlet or a surge protector or a power bar? We want to connect it to a wall outlet so that we can eliminate the source of energy as the primary cause. See this document for more information on the problems when connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power (Note: this document is not limited to printers Laserjet.)

Please let me know the results, or if there is anything else I can do to help.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 more - problems of duplex scanning

    Hello

I recently bought a HP Officeject Pro 8600 Plus and I work from a mac 10.6.8. Whenever I scan from the charger it creates only a single document face and I can't find anywhere in the settings of the printer itself or the "scan of the computer.

settings in the Hp printing software utility to change double-sided scanning. NB. I use the 'save a pdf option.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

If you scan directly from the printer, when you are on the menu to choose how you want to save the file (in format) there should be a lower left button that toggles between the original side 1 and 2 original faces.

What is the functionality you are looking for?

The only way to prevent resizing the last pages of the 8600 is to use another driver to print with it. I'll link the steps below. Let me know what happens.

  • HP Officejet pro 8600 & chromebook problem

Chromebook and connected to the eprint but printer does not print. Screen shows printer dialog box and says it is printing.

I understand the printer now says print and is not so make sure the printer email address is the same as defined in the registration of HP on the Web Google print site page.  Press the ePrint icon in the upper left corner of the touch screen of the printer to display the email address of the printer.  Make sure you type this email address to this Web site.

If your printer e-mail address looks like random numbers and letters, you can go to www.hpconnected.com to customize the email address, but be sure just that go back to the HP registration page to enter the new address.

-Click here to access the Support page of Cloud Google for further information-

If this does not help, you have customized the printer email address?  If so, you get the www.hpconnected.comerror messages?
