C6100 startup failure

This is the initial commissioning.  The printer is not connected to a computer or network. When the printer is connected, the power led lights up, the HP logo appears and starts a process and then the following error message appears on the screen:

Abnormal termination - to prevent damage, we WE the close button.  Do not use power strip or wall switch to stop - press OK.

By pressing OK does nothing.  The boot process starts again, the power light goes market, the same error message occurs.  By pressing IT has no effect.  The printer remains in this loop.

Connection to a computer via the USB port has no effect.

The printer just never came up, just the same error messages.

Is there a reset somewhere?

Problem solved.  I found a reference to another problem that has recommended the following:

(1) unplug the printer

(2) hold the ' # ' and '9 '.

(3) plug printer.

(4) turn on the printer

This has apparently done a reset and the printer came normally.

    Hello world

    I had my G3-710 4 months and so far love it until today.

    Today I got keyboard at startup failures upward on my predator keyboard and the keyboard does not light.  I tried all usb slots and it makes no difference.  If I kept Windows, he did the light upwards, but now does not only.  I plugged in a spare room and works on all ports.

    Is there a way I can definitely confirm that this is a failure of the keyboard before going through the trouble to send it back to Acer?

    Connect your predator keyboard to another PC and check if it gives you error too (the BIOS must be set to stop on error of keyboard)

    I think that the difficulty with myantispyware site is to know what type of malicious software that you have?

    I have this same problem on a friends laptop - I started out in a PE environment and run a couple of different recovery CD of AV companies but the problem remains. I also tried to go back to using System Restore, but it did not work either.

    On a work computer download SuperAntiSpyware Portable version from the link below save it on a USB key. Take the USB to the infected computer. Start the computer in safe mode with command prompt. Press Ctrl + SHIFT + ESC. The Task Manager opens. Click file > new task > type explorer.exe > press Ok. Navigate to the flash drive > right click > Explorer. Locate the SuperAntiSpyware file > right click and choose Run as administrator.

    I met recently a few new malwares of thugs that are loaded in safe mode effectively preventing you to download or install anything. For reasons unknown to me from the computer in safe mode with command prompt and then run taskmgr explorer.exe prevents malware to load. This method has worked several times for me this week only. Hello

    Try the following.

    First of all, regarding the manual of maintenance on the link below--remove and reposition your bars of memory.

    If the above makes no difference, and you have more than one Module of memory installed, try the following - if you have only 1 Module installed, try in the other available slot.

    Again, regards to the manual on the link below, delete one of your modules from memory and then see if the computer will start.  If it doesn't, try the same module, but in another location.  If it is still won't start, try the other memory module in both slots, to see if any combination will allow the laptop to boot up normally.

    The procedure for withdrawal of these modules is detailed on Page 50 of your maintenance & Service Guide.

    Kind regards

  • Failure of Windows Vista and the SafeMode of startup failure - crcdisk.sys

    Hello

    I have a Dell Inspiron laptop computer 2 GB RAM. He had a few months now, and everything has been fine.

    Started a few days ago from freezing occasionally so I was forced to restart. CTRL + ALT + DELETE has refused to do anything and so I had to manually remove the battery.

    A frozen about three times and then once rebooted showed the BSOD saying something the system failure.

    So I rebooted once more and now it restarts just without going on the login screen. I tried to run in safe mode, but it gets stuck on crcdisk.sys or goes in an endless process to restart again.

    Is there anyway that I might be able to get back on without doing a full factory reset, as I have all my work stored on the hard drive integrated without backup.

    I can open the system recovery options, but none of these options seem to work. All my points of recovery have been removed.

    Startup Repair doesn't indicate a problem with the system, so I thought maybe it was a virus? The same thing happened to my wife a few days ago computer and that uses the same Wifi network as me.

    Jacob.

    To search for malicious software, you must do in Mode safe mode with networking, but you say that you can not get the Options.

    There is information below data recovery.

    And Startup Repair Info, too.

    Data recovery:

    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
    Download the Vista software from the link above.
    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.
    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    If Safe Mode does not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html

    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

    ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html

    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.

    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.

    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

  • HP 15 laptop: startup failure, failure of the DST on 15 HP, with 8.1 windows

    automatic repair, then displays diagnostic PC for hours.

    I tried using F2 and found the failure of DST, and in the management of the firmware, BiOS update and roll back did not indicating that the Signature file was not available.

    How can I get my data back and restore my system? Looking for options and help

    Hello

    Thanks for posting in the HP Support forum. Welcome!

    I'm afraid that it is hardware problem - faulty hard disk drive (HDD). For more details, you can provide me with the full error code that was present there.

    However, since this is the defective HARD drive, you probably will not power recovery files (details to follow).

    Your options:

    (1) If your computer is still under warranty, please contact HP support and inform. They will work with you on how to replace the faulty component.  Contact HP:

    > > http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html

    > > http://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp

    (2) If your computer is with the warranty period has expired, you will need to replace the failed HARD drive - buy it yourself. There are various options - sellers you can choose one - you need 2.5-inch SATA HARD drive. You can get it online or retail store of PC.

    You can also consider installing the SSD instead of the HARD disk - it is strongly recommended that SSDS are faster, lighter and more folding. More info on SSD:

    > > http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch001396.htm

    > > http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0, 2817,2404258,00.asp

    How to replace the failed HARD drive with new HARD or new SSD drive: Please, find information and instructions in the manual for your computer or look at examples of videos YouTube for HP 15. If you do not want this in your own, please make the computer (or ship it) to the authorized Service Center HP where technicians will do that for you. If you don't know where such a centre, check the latter or contact HP to help find one closest to you:

    > > http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html

    > > http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00372730

    > > http://www8.hp.com/us/en/store-finder/find.do?bs=SR4 & type = authorized

    (3) last part - once you replace the defective component - you have to reinstall your operating system - Windows or another return. Thus,.

    (3.1) IF your computer is originally shipped with Windows preinstalled from HP (aka OEM of Windows), then you must use the HP - DVD or USB pen drive recovery media you have previously created recovery media or purchased from HP. Some general info > > http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00006110

    (3.2) IF your computer is not originally came with Windows pre-installed, but you later installed the operating system on your own, you must use the operating system / Windows installation media and install Windows on your own.

    Please, let me know how it goes and post back if you need assistance. Impatience your feeback/response.

  • Y580 startup failures

    I own my Y580 for 2 weeks now and everything is fine. Since yesterday, the startup fails with a blank screen and the light of the lit keyboard. Disable the Y580 with button / stop and try 5 - 10 times to boot, Windows 7 starts up and runs very well. After this restart or switch off voltage works great as many times.

    Several hours waiting for example. all night with the Y580 of if turned off, the problem occurs again.

    I installed Windows 7 regular updates and a new driver for the GPU. I restored WIndows to the point before the update driver GPU - same problem.

    Any comments?

    As WIndows does not attempt to start at all, I wonder if Windows is the cause of the problem or something else?

    Thank you

  • HP g62 460so startup failure ID

    Hello, I was surfing on facebook, and the laptop froze with a blue screen. I tried to restart a couple of times, but the computer froze at the windows screen. Also tried with all disconnect.

    I then ran a diagnostic startup and got the following default ID: RLL2TR-5KH6LR-XD0141-60UK03

    A value of 0 may be the letter O, but also the number zero.

    My laptop model: HP G62 420SO

    Operating system: Windows 7, 64 bit

    Interesting, because I finally managed to launch the recovery DVDs and reset the system. This means that the hard drive will crash very probably soon again?

  • A registry XP file at startup failure error

    Had a power outage a few nights ago. After the return of power, computer with XP Pro would start to start, but after the logo Windows XP, the blue screen appeared with the message:

    STOP: C00000218 {registry file failure}

    The thehive of load registrycannot

    Root\System32\config\SOFTWARE or itslog or its replacement system

    Cannot start with options (safe mode, etc.).

    Cannot restore to any previous restore point.

    BUT... If the blue screen memory dump is allowed to continue, the machine will restart and will start.

    Mystifying to me. Someone has any idea how to get back to normal? The sequence of double-boot is a pain... and of course * something * wrong.

    TIA

    Hello

    If you have a Windows XP CD, you can boot the PC with the CD.

    Once started press 'r' to enter the recovery console. Follow the instructions until you have the command prompt.

    (Here's a nice document with screenshots to help you: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/ss/rconsole.htm)

    Type in

    CHKDSK c: /r

    and press ENTER. This will check your hard drive for errors. Once done restart the PC.

    If the PC gives the same error then follow this document to recover the registry from a backup.

  • Satellite A215-S4757 blue screen & startup failure after HARD drive partitioning

    I just bought a Satellite A215-S4757 a week ago & I tried to divide my hard drive coz, I was only one partion (250 GB) using acronis disk director.

    After that I got the blue screen and now I failed to start and I tried all the options to repair my windows or load in SafeMode to no avail coz it crashes just from the window of microsoft corporation.

    I tried to reinstall windows vista with the cd but still does not!
    pls someone helo me :(

    Hello

    Creator of disc of Acronis does not for me but I know for sure that you can split the capacity of the HARD drive into two partitions with rendering recovery DVDs. Start your laptop with recovery DVDs and check the option to install it.

    You must have a mobile US model. I am from Europe and I don't know about you how it works with the recovery media in the United States, but it should be similar to the European and because of that it must be an option to divide the capacity of the HARD disk with two partitions.

    Please try again. It should work somehow.

  • Satellite M70-337 random startup failures

    Hello, I hope someone can help with this problem.

    In the past months, my Satellite M70-337 (18 months) began to refuse to start. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. When that happens, it will be often blue screen, reboot, and then work fine. The BSOD seems to graphics (ialmrnt5) driver-related, so I'm not too concerned about this.

    Anyway, more specifically, here's what happens:

    I'll turn on the monitor and recharge the battery and the power LED lights up. Then I press the power button and the power led lights up. But the hard drive light does NOT illuminate. The display shows lifeless, and the laptop shows no sign of life other than the three lights. It does not even show the toshiba start screen which normally invites me to press F2 or F12.

    I then turn off the laptop by pressing the power button and hold.

    I checked the event logs, and it seems that the problem coincides with the date and time being reset to January 1, 2005. So, the problem could be related to a dead CMOS battery? The strange thing is, if I leave the phone off for a week and it will restart with no problem. Yet it can begin to misbehave after be off for 6 hours only. If the CMOS battery need replacement, probably after a week without being able to time could be reset?

    And if that's the CMOS battery, why won't the laptop start not at all on a few occasions? I'm confused!

    I checked the memory of errors (with MEMTEST) and it is fine. I reinstalled the memory and changed the locations of memory, he is sitting in (while wearing an anti-static bracelet!). No change.

    Similarly, I checked the hard drive is in place. Yet once again, it was fine. I scanned using CHKDSK/r, and it turned out to be very good.

    Thus, all the advice, please!

    Thank you

    BAV

    Hello

    I do not know how to start so I will try to explain things step by step.

    Regarding the battery CMOS;
    If the battery is empty, all the parameters of the BIOS as time, data will be set to the default settings.
    But the CMOS battery empty should not has a bad influence on the start-up procedure. Usually, you should get a message to access the BIOS and restore and save the changes. Then the cell phone should start as usual.
    If the CMOS battery is empty, you can reload on the laptop for about 12 to 16 hours on the AC adapter / CC.

    However, in my opinion the start-up problems have nothing to with the CMOS battery

    Regarding the graphics driver ialmrnt5;
    I have goggled a bit and discovered that many people receive a BSOD caused by ialmrnt5.dll
    This file seems to belong to the Intel graphics driver.
    It would be desirable to delete the old driver Intel of the operating system and install version a new driver from the Intel page support.

    But to be honest I don't think that a graphic driver could cause this problem!

    I had a similar problem with my laptop 6 year old. He froze, and then it was not possible to restart the laptop. I thought it was an overheating issue. I cleaned my cooling module and assigned and new thermal grease for cooling modules and CPU, but it did not help.
    I have checked with the Memtest86 memory but found no problem.
    Then I removed ONE of the memory modules that have been installed in the laptop and have tested the BONE for an extended period.

    Since then I have not received any errors or other trouble...
    In my case it was a defective module!

    Best regards

    Suddenly my phone begins to show messages about the services stopped, including AIRA, wifi, etc. I powered it off and after it starts. It starts, shows me the logo of the bike, show me an animation on volleyball and turns off automatically. When I try to choose other options like recovery or plant start-up, it displays bike logo for a second and returns to screen bootloader with the error: failed to start. Also, when the system crashed battery was at 80%, but after several attempts to start, the battery fell to 0% and I had to plug in charger. Phone was unfounded.

    Any ideas?

    You made 2 statements that conflict:

    Phone was unfounded.

    and then, later

    I have not modified in any way other than root.

    Since the 2 don't may both be real, who is? Your IMEI will be listed under your profile?
