SCB-68 direct crossing

I have an interface SCB-68 box and that you have configured for the mode of direct crossing. I want to just make sure that I set the switches correctly.

Here's how the switches were when I first opened the lid:

and here's what it looks like after that I changed the position of the switches:

A set the switches correctly for direct crossing mode?

Thank you

The S1 & S2 in the manual see the same same switches if the letters across the switch.

    Mark,

Thanks for posting. I think the question might be to see you about the how the SCB-68 must be configured in mode of direct crossing to be used with the connector 1 on the PXI-6225. When the switches on the block are defined for a direct crossing, the Council is not connected to the CJC. Do not have a connection to a CCM on this connector could cause this problem.

A potential solution, you can try is to connect a temperature probe to AI16 and follow the steps in this KB, using that channel instead of the CJC channel. Let me know if it helps!

  • Behavior PWM PXI R series

    Hello

I created a simple PWM using a PXI-7851R and it worked very well for the past month or so but now it behaves strangely.  Previously, so I've provided a min and max power, the impulse generated would be between these two values.  Now what is happening, is that the momentum generated is always centered above zero with a min and max value equal to half the distance between my input values.  So for example if I wanted a 0 - 6V pwm signal, I previously would enter a 0V min and max of 6V, but now that translates a signal from-3 to 3 ' [(6V-0V) / 2]»  As you can see in the snippet, everything I do is update the AO channel with the max value, pending, then update with the min value so I can't understand why he behaves in this way.  I use a block of SCB-68 connection so I thought maybe the position of the switches I messed up, but they seem to be on the direct crossing.  Any ideas why this happens?

One of AO channels on another block of connection has been hit before, so I thought it's a similar problem, but it was actually only a few error simple user stupid on my part and I forgot to put my field in DC mode .

I downloaded the 8.1 Windows PCL6 printer drivers and they seem to have been installed and there is an icon showing in the Printers folder.  However when I choose to print a test copy of it does not print.

My 4200n is connected via a usb port to serial port cable and it works fine with Win 7 drivers.

I would appreciate any suggestion that could solve my problem.

Converters USB-parallel port are often problematic - Windows 8 is perhaps more stringent in its requirements?

As your printer model (LaserJet 4200n) is a network model, a better solution would be to connect via TCP/IP - you need a hub (possibly integrated with your router) in order to avoid having to get a connection cable direct "cross-over".

  • VMkernel no longer works after restart

    Hello

I have some problems using VMotion.

    Here is our configuration:

    -2 servers ESX Infrastructure 3.5;

    -on each server, we have 2 redundant interfaces (was and B) for the default network connection (iSCSI + VMs: she will be cut in half later with another network card);

    -on each server, we have 2 redundant (C and D) interfaces for VMotion which are connected directly to another ESX;

    -2 servers are added to a data center with vCenter (HA and DRS active);

-as a result, on each server, we have a virtual switch with a VMkernel and the default network Service Console (0: hasB) and another for VMotion (1: CD).

Our problem is the following. When restart us one or two servers the VMkernel does not work anymore. Both servers ping between them on the interface of VMotion, but vmkping does not work. Finally, remove us the vSwitch1 and recreate it with the same breaks randomly on one of the parameters, and it seems to fix the problem.

We tried to repeat the same scenario several times and we get the same problem each time.

We look at /var/log/boot.log and/var/log/vmkernel and, for us, there is no problem.

    Any idea?

1 test = Test VMotion with own vswitch and 1 NIC (two guests)

I would start by removing the vSwitch1 and all groups of associated ports.  Create a new vswitch.  Under this vswitch, create a port vkernel group.  Call the VMotion (just to identify him only).  Select the vmotion on it.  Add only vmnic2 to the vswitch.  Hardcode than NIC to 1000 Full.   If this configuration works, you're laughing.  Add the second group of ports for the "Service Console 2" and test again.  If adding the vmnic1 it breaks, it is the cause.  I would start by following these recommendations, rather than simply remove the network card.

I guess "vMotion Service Console" is your second service console for redundancy HA...  Take it out at the moment.  Simply your installer for troubleshooting.  Use only a NIC personally, I don't like to create links with different cards.

Test 2 is the question of routing/network vmkernel Test.

The vmkernel to the VMKernel default gateway allows NetAppcommunications in and out of the ESX host.  The VMotion uses cross over cables.  If these two elements are in conflict, it may be the cause of the problem.  Can you connect to the network instead of a direct cross your vmotion over cables?  The vmotion network connects to should be able to use the same default gateway of vmkernel as NetApp.

Start with a simple config.  If you can provide a simpler configuration for the virtual machine as local storage disks and remove the NetApp, it would be useful to remove the question from the vmkernel trace.  Today, I do not use NetApp.  The configured vmkernel is used for vmotion and the default gateway is the same IP address as the Group of ports of vmotion.  Yes = 10.0.0.23 vmotion, def vmkernel gw is 10.0.0.23.

I got the application Parallels on my Macbook Pro. Suddenly, an update alrert came when I tried to launch parallels. I hit accidentally YES. It was updated and now I need to enter the activation key once again, that I do not have access to.

So, I tried to restore the image of Time Machine application (just app restore but not the restoration of the whole image).

Now I can see the icon of the parallels application with a gray cicrle crossed on this subject. I can't launch the Parallels. Also I can't get the activation key if I reinstall parallels.

How to fix the restored application?

Also another question is, my timemachine showed some images of backups, but when I rebooted my macbook, I lost all my previous bodies timemachine.

Now, I am in a position to fix my parallels application, but may not be bale to do.

I need help to fix my laptop card. My laptop (TOSHIBA M600 on windows vista) basic as its original operating system works perfectly for the last 3 years. About 3 weeks ago the the volume icon in the lower right corner of the screen had a red cross on it. I am no longer able to listen to the lectures online, music, videos, etc. I opened the Device Manager and found no distinction between the like audio, video and game controllers. This happened after my friend installed a fake windows 7. Since then, I decided to buy and re-installed a professional legal window 7, but the problem persists. The volume at the bottom of the screen icon still has a red x on it.

Kind people out there please help me... i'm a student and can't afford it which will be fixed by these expensive computer genius in the computer store. Also... If please use simple English lay when you give instructions or help.

    Hey Buddy,

Usually this mode Red Cross that there is no audio driver not installed or pilot is confusing until you already tried reinstalling the audio driver?

What sound card you have installed?
Normally, you can get all the drivers on the official website of Toshiba, but for an older model like yours, I guess to check the other pages. For example, if you have a sound card Realtek, check the Realtek page directly: www.realtek.com

  • SCB-68 AIGND vs AIGND

    Hello

I apologize for the enigmatic title, but I'm a little confused on the difference between the screws AIGND fastons (67, 32, 64, etc.) and the AIGND on the area on the conditioning of signals of PCB SCB-68 box.

I'm trying to accurately measure a signal 0 - 10V on analog channel 1 mode differential.  I followed directions (see link) connection for differential measurements by adding resistors of polarization on the sign (+) and (-) entered to AIGND pin # 67.  With this configuration I sometimes see saturation in my measurements because of the high common-mode voltage.  I then withdrew my PIN # 67 AIGND polarization resistors and added resistances of polarization in the region (RC14 and RC15) as suggested in figure 5-1 conditioning of signals of PCB and my measurements seems correct and do not saturate.  It seems to me that these two should be the same, but I get different results.  Measures of resistance between screw AIGND fastons (67, 32, and so on) to the AIGND showed high impedance which suggests that they are not the same conditioning of signals of PCB.  All my switches are assigned to the default settings.

What is the difference between the two AIGNDs, and that AIGND should I use?

    HV:

These two AIGND are connected inside the data acquisition card, it will appear an impedance high unless the SCB - 68 on the DAQ card.  I measured ~ 35Ohms when connected, open the circuit without.  Additionally, make sure that switch S3 is down, by trial and error, I've found this causes impedance jumps.

  • PCIe-7842r to SCB-68 has

    Hello

I brought a PCIe-7842r, and it comes with the SCB, 68 a, as the connection block.

I want to use the connection block for analog and digital output entry, so I plugged the pin68 and PIN 67 with two sons. 68 pin and PIN 67 on SCB68A is to HAVE it + and I-on the PCIe 7842r too, so it fits perfectly.

Next step, I want to use the PCIe 7842r to a digital output, and I intend to use the 36 pin and pin 2, which corresponds to DIO0 and DGND.

However, pin 36 and on the SCB68A pin2 is DGND and PFI14, which does not match the result of the PCIe 7842r.

Y at - it suggestions for dealing with this problem?

    Best,

If you look at the label on this page closely, you will see that it is for M and X Series DAQ devices.  You must read the section on the use of the SCB-68 has as a Feedthough Direct (page 14) and use the code I linked at the earliest for the R series card.

  • Connections SCB 68

    Dear Sir

I use NI PCI 6281 as well as the SCB-68. I want to collect data from a sensor that has a BNC connector. My SCB-68 has no BNC ports and I can connect only wires. What should I do? If I remove the BNC of the sensor wire Plug and connect the leads to naked to the SCB-68 sensor while it will be OK? or it will be the effect on the measurement?

    Kind regards

    Urfee

You can get a little more noise through the connection block than you would if you had a direct BNC connection on data acquisition.  But it shouldn't be enough to matter.  I just cut the end out of the BNC cable to connect the signal and ground in the terminal block.

But if you are really worried about it OR there some DAQ cards with BNC connection.  I haven't looked in a while, but they tend to be on the high end.

  • ISA550 Wan speeds VS direct to the modem

Today, I noticed that if I connect my computer directly to the modem, I get speeds of 67MBPS down and 3.5 upward. When I go through the ISA550 I get 47 down and 3.5 upward. Is - fixable?

    Hello

Your speeds are most likely more slow because of running security services your CEP.

I took a quick look at the Datasheet for the ISA550 and the flow when the different threat management features are enabled is listed to 45Mbps, right around what you have found.

As a test of cross and disable the security services one at a time to refine that slows you down, my guess would be the A / V or IPS.

Is repairable way, using just the firewall, the device can handle up to 200Mbps, but that means you would need to disable certain functions for security.

  • Reduce the range of ports for calls crossed - Freeway

    Hi all

We currently have MRA deployment but we have a problem with the "Crossing Media port" range set up in the subzone of the crossing. By default, this interval spend 36000 to 59999, but the FW team must reduce this ports open to 36000-36511. Is this supported?

Any idea to reduce this range without impact in the service?

    Thank you!

If you go to maintenance > tools > using the Port, you are able to watch all the different ports inbound/outbound highway has set up, if you are able to edit and change of range, there will be a display/change option that will take you directly to the page of configuring these ports.  Don't forget if you are editing a port range, either on the Express-C or - E track, don't forget to check if the other should also be changed.
