I have a printer all-in-one HP psc 2110. Last week, our electricity is out for a day. When the power was restored the printer lights not when I turned the computer back on.  The monitor and the computer that both power very well, but the printer would not turn.  I unplugged for a while, cleaned, spoke kindly to it... nothing.  I am a senior at technology-challenged... Can someone help me?

Sorry if I have indicated an incorrect forum.  I'm not very good at knowing what systems I have and what things are called and how they really work.

I tried everything I could think of to get the printer works, but I think you're right... it's probably time for a new printer.

I thank very you much for your time and your help.

It is not a problem that you have chosen this forum - I have just crossing the process to understand what was wrong logically.

The printer won't even turn on - then the first place to go is the study of material - given all that you said you've tried already.

It looks like the cut/surge that followed may have fried something.  I guess you tried in an outlet different and other?  -I hope - you also have all of the computer at least on a surge protector or a block Up ups (UPS) with automatic Votage (APR) incorporated - regulation to protect the equipment connected to such things?  (It is worth the investment in most of the cases).

  • HP Photsmart C7280 - flashing lights and error messages on blue when screen off the printer.

HP Photosmart C7280 All in One.

This 3 year printer seemed to install OK when I it connected via a wireless modem/router.

My turn and Lap Top printed ok for months. They use Windows 7 64-bit.

Recently when the printer was left off for a few days all its lights started to blink.

If I disconnect and reconnect it the power and cable modem/router, the printer works ok again until it is turned off.

The lights will start to Flash.  Also, I'm getting 2 error messages on blue screen when the power is off and the lights are flashing...

B8SIFE84 blue screen error code still appears, and once I saw the blue screen B3772734 error code appear as well.

I deleted and reinstalled the device by using the printer software HP correct and downloaded and installed all the relevant printer updates that I can find. The problem still persists.

Help, ideas or thoughts to the subject of what to do to solve this problem would be appreciated.

    Don't

    Have sussed out.
Power supply is 'blacktus cactorum cactus. "
It is unclear when it is off.
Looks like this is a new printer for "don't" then buy HP shares and buy a 5 year warranty with the new printer.

  • router and modem lights are flashing and the printer does not work wireless and system said detection of problems

Cannot communicate with the printer wireles or pluged.  Lights suggesting that something is not connected correctly.

Check with the manufacturer of the router/modem, or if it is provided by an access provider, ask your ISP.  Flashing lights definitely have a meaning and if deciphered will tell you what does not work correctly or well connected.

  • Fast blink on the cartridge light. How long can I keep feeling. It will harm my printer?

I have a Canon MX882 using 226 cartridges.  Most of the time we have additional cartridges, but occasionally, one ink cartridge blinking fast began before I buy new and that I print, I need the fact.  Printing is still good, light and dark. I have exceeded about 30 pages and ink always seeks not faded.  I'm harming the printer while printing?

    Hi enimary,

I will start with the quick response: we never recommend printing once the ink indicator shows that the ink is 'out '.

As the ink level detection is mainly optical, a few traces of ink may still in the ink tank when the 'out' warning.  Let's say your cyan ink is 'out '.  If you print a picture with very little cyan, printing may appear very well since you use so little of this specific ink.

In each draw, the printhead (element used for 'jet' of ink on paper) will heat up.  As the ink through the print head nozzles, it will cool the printhead and the cycle repeats with each pass.  When the print head try to draw ink in an empty tank, it does not cool the print head and can cause damage or clogging of the nozzles.

It's really a bet to continue to print in these circumstances, but I certainly understand the need to print in a crunch.  Keep an eye on for the "low ink" warnings when printing.  When a "low" warning, you will have about 25% of the ink still in the tanks.  He is a guest of good to have a spare available ink tank for when he finally reached the stage of 'out '.

Also, do not confuse the 'low' with 'out' warning warning  I recommend that you view the following Knowledge Base article: checking the status of the ink - MX882.

  • The yellow light flashes on the printer.

    Original title: Printer problems

My printer print 1 page very well then the printer sounded like he wanted to do more printing, even though I only asked for 1. Now, the lite flashes yellow. I checked this: no paper jam. I cancelled all print jobs, just in case, although none showed. I disabled all the equipment, restarted and yellow button continues to Flash. The ink cartridge is new. I asked Windows Help for printer problems, none is shown. I asked Microsoft to help you, no answer. Any help is greatly appreciated. Just know that I'm not a cranky then please use the current language if you answer. Thank you. Jean

    Hi John,.

    Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community!

You have reached the right forum. Let us work as a team and try to solve this problem.

If I understand correctly, you have problems with the printer.

Please answer these questions to better understand the issue:

    1. What is the brand and model of the printer?

2 have you referred to the manual that came with the printer?

    3. have you tried to contact the manufacturer of the printer?

If the printer has an orange light flashing, this may mean that the printer has an internal condition 'fault' which is found only in the printer itself.

I suggest you contact the manufacturer of the printer for more help.

Hope the helps of information. Don't answer if you need assistance, we will be happy to help you.

  • Do the "keys" on each side of the Envy4500 lights when the printer is turned on?

I just bought two new Envy4500s and at the same time on them, the "key (i.e. up/down, 'ok', etc.) on each side of the display screen does not light up when the printer is turned on."  HP rep said they should, but on any machine they light up. Thus, all "keys" are essentially impossible to see. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hello @paularose,

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.

I see that you are curious about the screen of the HP ENVY 4500 e-all-in-one printer.  I would like to help.

The arrow keys do not light up when the printer is on, but as you can see when you look at your own models, they are clearly identified.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards

  • HP Envy 5530: Emits a light HP Envy 5530, but the printer will not be running

Printer of opportunity, so no guarantee: it out of the box, plugged in and set up. I was able to connect wirelessly to my computer, but I don't have the right to ink cartridges. When the ink is right, I plugged it again. This time the printer power not on at all. The only thing that happens is that the signal power light briefly when the first powered. This isn't a loose thread, because I can only duplicate the symptom when connecting, not when moving or unplug the device. It isn't food, as I have him succeeded and get the same exact symptom. (PS, thanks for the power supply internal easy-to-swap!)

Is it a kind of fashion 'sleep'? Any suggestions as to what this is. I am rather stuck with it since I bought the ink and an additional power supply, so I would like to address them. Help, please! Thank you!

    Hello @azvlr,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand you are having feeding problems with your used HP ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one printer. I see that you have already installed a new set of ink and replaced the internal power supply without result. Unfortunately at this time if a new power supply fails to solve the problem of flashing light output that the next step would be to use the printer.

Please take a look at this paper Support HP "no power" to ensure that all steps are completed that follows: The HP printer will not be running or to respond when the power button is pressed

The HP Envy 5530 is always a newly released product. Therefore, I highly recommend contact our telephone Support queue to explore additional options. If a replacement printer is necessary food and ink will not be wasted because they can be used in the replacement printer.

  • The red light blinks and I can't print.

I reinstalled, activated and deactivated, changed the ink and still no luck.

Thank you for the information.  From what you describe, looks like the printer's mistake out there, but don't not giving much information about what is at the origin of the problem.  I found this document on the flashing of the patterns of light for your printer that should help you to find the cause of the problem and fix it.  If the document can help you to work around the problem, you may need to get a new printer.
